Watching this video with some LCD-2's on makes it even more interesting to hear about the whole lineup of headphones Audeze makes. Keep up the awesome work!
Going through UA-cam videos of the lcdx and I come across Chris (who I've been emailing) and I'm giggling !, Can't wait until I get my lcdx headphones !
Excellent. I have had LCD-3s for several years, but the Audeze product portfolio has always had me baffled. It is satisfying to have the different models placed into context with each other. (Most baffling has been that they call the newest LCD-2s, the "classic", which, according to any dictionary definition of "classic", they clearly are not.)
Hello Audeze Team, What kind of amplifier would you recommend to optimally drive the LCD-4? Especially regarding the power that an amplifier should have. Here are the key data of my amplifier Outputs: 2x unbalanced with 6.3 mm, 1 balanced with 4-pin XLR +/- 18dB pre gain 4 amplifiers, 6400 mW Pmax into 50 ohms, 21 V RMS into 600 ohms
Burn-in racks are also part of QC process - any mechanical/moving system has a chance for failure, so this helps us torture test drivers before they go out as much as anything else!
Looking for advice. I am the proud owner of a pair of LCD-XCs. Love them... Looking for both an upgrade and the open back experience. I love both technical detail and musicality (I understand those can be competing demands at the extremes). I believe, given my preference, my choices are narrowed to the LCD-4z or the LCD-3. I'd appreciate any feedback or recommendations.
So, really, tell me, is the 4z going to give me the same experience as the 4 just less power? I had the 4, enjoyed it greatly, but my amp just wasn't powerful enough (despite being a pricy full headphone amp) and I had to sell it. I miss the sound, so now I have the decision to make to either get a new amp (rather not, since its paired well with other cans) or try the 4z... ugh

i love reading things where people debate whether burn in is real and than see a burn in rack and be like, well it’s definitely real

The fucking flashes every jumpcut are killing me
Is that lcd 4 upgraded cable available separately ? And does it benefit other audeze lcd headphones? Or just specific to the lcd4. Thanks!
