Yeah, and since they make human expressions like pain, happiness, sadness I can't help but feel bad for them especially Mr. Handy trying to smile even though his fingers are tweaked.
this game was really nice! i like how all the clown designs were all really creative and a little cute, perfectly capturing the whimsy of a clown. most clown horror games just go for stereotypical traits and up the scary factor too much, without really knowing how to design a charming and unique clown character. this game really managed to nail that, while still making it a horror game! lovely work!
I kind of expected a twist like... the scary painting clown was actually a mirror, that is, it was you being forced to relive the tortures you inflicted on others. I agree though, I like clowns and eldritch entities, so the spookiest thing was just the suffering.
I felt pain man. I'm not the type of person who just plays a game, I typically grow a connection with the characters whether good or bad as if they were real (weird kinda) and even tho I wasn't the one playing, my gosh man, I could almost cry. Their deaths and picture backstories it really hurt
I have a theory- It's not that kids were abducted- rather that they died. The way they died is represented by the exibit. Mr. Handy broke his hands and maybe something happened after that he needed his hands for so he died. Ms. Stretch had her arms torn off and she bled out. Mr. Wash drowned one day- Things like that. Just an idea though
In the one with Mrs stretch, the paintings show someone grabbing her by the arm and pulling, so I don't think they were accidents, or at least most of them.

I like how this game didn’t really follow the “bathtub full of blood” trope Like, when it came to the tub during the Killing the Clowns part, I was like “yeah yeah now the tub’s gonna fill up with the guys blood yada yada” but it actually had originality, kudos to the creator.
Nice variety both in the clowns' designs but also the horror tied to them, efficient use of the background to give you a good idea of what exactly went down, perfect length for this sort of horror game. Solid experience from top to bottom.
Guys if you slow down the frames at 7:13, you see flashing images of a balloon heading to what looks like thorns. It could be the clown in the portrait was waiting for the kid's balloon to pop? Someone else mentioned about a portrait of lungs in Mr. Floaty's exhibit. That could be the reason the child's asthma was triggered.

this was amazing, like, the way the scare slowly creeps up on you and the horror as you realise the backstory of each clown, and shit having to torture them ugh horrifying and scary all the way around, really nicely done!! not to mention a very neat and pleasant artstyle!
Ms. Stretchy and Mr Handy had the most terrible fate...jack killed himself. Mr floaty was the saddest...he had the sorrowest death of all. Rip clowns. Probably the "Mr.Honk" made their abilities and wanted them to shatter. Mr honk is the picture clown btw.
I just realized something after watching this a second time. At 0:33 see the clown in the picture? Look at how it’s smiling. Look reallyyy closely at it after he comes back after breaking the music box- 1:00 it’s face changes, the confetti/sparkles is gone and the plant wilts a little bit.
While I don't entirely reject the abducting children theory, I wanna draw people's attention to something that I haven't seen discussed yet. All of the clowns, save for maybe the balloon boy, suffered some kind of serious injuries, some of them even implied to be from physical abuse (Ms stretch being manhandled by an adult in one of the portraits). Now. I was immediately reminded of children's hospitals, because don't those hire clowns to cheer the kids up? I'm not sure if that was intentional but I just got a really strong vibe especially from the balloon boy with the portrait of a balloon turning into very sick looking lungs. Almost as if it was from a medical photograph. Not sure how Mr washy plays into this, although darker theories as to why he would be in the hospital do come to mind (ahem, people who go into the tub for a the last time, but fail). I don't know where I'd take this observation, except, deranged children's hospital clown, I guess? I just wanted to look at the game from this perspective. Alot of what the player is forced to do to the clowns feels reminiscent of medical abuse (of children specifically), or patients that couldn't be saved for whatever reason. Just my thoughts
Don’t hate me but I kind of like clowns. They aren’t scary. They’re just misunderstood. I don’t care if clowns die but. Seeing these cute and cuddle characters die just makes me cry. The deaths in this game is horrifying. But it’s still a cute and scary game. I give it 10 stars
It seems like these clowns are used to portray how they were murdered...and the big clown wants you to find it out, which is why he doesn't let u leave. And the last clown, the jack in the box, was the murderer
A bit unerving but really interesting game! I couldn't tell for some of them, but the backstory you can see for two of them through the pictures (Ms. Stretch and Mr. Floaty) seemed to essentially show their "training" from the mirror clown (Or the result of in Mr. Floaty's case with the image of broken lungs)
What a nice little game! I love the colourful art style, I like how the horror elements present themselves and integrate into the art style as the game progresses. Poor children though...
Considering that the circus 100 years ago tortured orphans or in some way disabled children to death in front of a large audience makes this horror game even more realistic...
The art is so well done and beautiful but heck do I feel bad for the abducted children and I felt physically uncomfortable watching the second half of the play through… very well done on the dev’s part
Haven’t watched the video yet so I don’t know if he’ll say “___’s empty, like my soul” but I’ve come to the sudden realization that perhaps it’s a reference to Billy from The Grim Adventure’s Of Billy & Mandy in which (I forgot which episode) Billy looks into an empty box and says “It’s empty, just like my soul” and I felt like sharing that with y’all. I don’t know if it is a reference, but ya know. :3 Edit: ‘Ight, finished the video and wow, I think I’m scared of clowns for once. OVO

The moment I saw the pictures in Ms. Stretch's room was in the dark, I felt some sort of forbidding feeling. I will cry if the story is exactly what I think it is
OH NO MR. FLOATY!!! IS THAT WHY IT MENTIONED BALLOONS POPPING????
😢
Yup. The clown man tore her arm off.
@@chaosincarnate7304 they're probably thinking of something other than that, something much worse
@@imjustgr8 Yeah in all honestly it looked like she was being R-worded but I don't think the game went there. That was my first thought tbh.
2:27 "You're not that bad of a clown after all."
...As someone who grew up with a terrifying clown painting in the hallway outside my room for all of my childhood... NEVER trust the clown paintings! EVER!
3:53 I TOLD YOU!!
It Probally just wants friends so I would befriend it :D
@@STARIZZY458 my mother STILL has that clown painting and I STILL don't trust it 😅
Never. Trust. The clown paintings. Lol
The fact that the player has to be the one to break the people-turned-clowns is what hurts about this :(
Also I was really expecting the Jack-in-the-box the be a jumpscare
I like clowns. Always have. Never been scared of clowns. But clowns are always portrayed as evil, I was excited to see that these clowns were actual clowns and happy to excite, amaze, and entertain.
But then we watched them die and I was very sad.
Thats actually kinda wholesome lol
Yeah, and since they make human expressions like pain, happiness, sadness I can't help but feel bad for them especially Mr. Handy trying to smile even though his fingers are tweaked.
this game was really nice! i like how all the clown designs were all really creative and a little cute, perfectly capturing the whimsy of a clown. most clown horror games just go for stereotypical traits and up the scary factor too much, without really knowing how to design a charming and unique clown character. this game really managed to nail that, while still making it a horror game! lovely work!
The pained and scared faces on the clowns made my soul hurt. Now it's broken and I have to throw it in a trash can.
Man the fact that you can just FEEL the pain the clowns felt is so sad :(
I kind of expected a twist like... the scary painting clown was actually a mirror, that is, it was you being forced to relive the tortures you inflicted on others.
I agree though, I like clowns and eldritch entities, so the spookiest thing was just the suffering.
Agreed
I like how after you broke the music box, the clown on the main screen's eyes went black.
Mr handy's part hurt me spiritually, seeing him forcing a cute smile despite the pain just....i wanna hug him
I felt pain man. I'm not the type of person who just plays a game, I typically grow a connection with the characters whether good or bad as if they were real (weird kinda) and even tho I wasn't the one playing, my gosh man, I could almost cry.
Their deaths and picture backstories it really hurt
I have a theory-
It's not that kids were abducted- rather that they died. The way they died is represented by the exibit.
Mr. Handy broke his hands and maybe something happened after that he needed his hands for so he died.
Ms. Stretch had her arms torn off and she bled out.
Mr. Wash drowned one day-
Things like that. Just an idea though
Where is Mr floaty
@@sanrioluvrI mean, if he’s like actually inflated to death via popping, or too much helium that damages the lungs
In the one with Mrs stretch, the paintings show someone grabbing her by the arm and pulling, so I don't think they were accidents, or at least most of them.
It’s one of favorite types of horror game where it’s styled like a mini game :D
Man, hearing you talk is like ASMR without you actually whispering. Sorry if I sound weird, I mean that your voice is pretty soothing.
Omg I thought I was the only one
We all feel the same lol don't feel bad :) I like to listen to his videos before work because his voice is so calming
@ArtisticArty samee
@ArtisticArty lol, i remember half a year ago, I'd slump in my mini foldable gaming chair, the kind thats on the floor and doesn't have legs, with my blanket over my whole body and shoulder, I'd be watching a manly video on my tv, and 40 minutes in I'd doze off for a couple hours, i did this about ten times lol.
I fall asleep to Manly's videos fairly regularly. His cadence and calmness even in scary games is very relaxing.
I felt so bad watching them get hurt oh my god my heart is broken into pieces.. Looking at their expressions while it was happening just made things worse 😭
This is the most emotions I’ve seen from Manly and it’s a game about clowns
I like how this game didn’t really follow the “bathtub full of blood” trope
Like, when it came to the tub during the Killing the Clowns part, I was like “yeah yeah now the tub’s gonna fill up with the guys blood yada yada” but it actually had originality, kudos to the creator.
Nice variety both in the clowns' designs but also the horror tied to them, efficient use of the background to give you a good idea of what exactly went down, perfect length for this sort of horror game. Solid experience from top to bottom.
Manly: I'm not gonna enjoy this one
meanwhile he's grimaced at each one. I love how sympathetic he is to victims XD that's Manly for ya
If you want to win, you need to be a clown.
*Just open Twitter*
a clown, not a toxic waste
Yep.
Here's something grim I realized: Mr. Handy become just Mr. when you break his fingers because he effectively lost his hands.
Ms. Stretch didn't even get that honor. She became a statistic.
6:08 just noticed that one of those bits of "do not cross" tape says "you will be skinned"
There are flashes of beings with eyes watching and teeth waiting

No please, I’m not down to clown…

@@galladegamerletsplays What?
I love Ms Stretch so much
I’m alt clowncore and I love the clown aesthetic and stuff and she is SLAYING
as a fellow clown aligned person this was honestly an experience, can confirm i was kidnapped by mirror bozo (ozob for short) and forced into white Facepaint when i was 9, it's a good deal really
It wasn’t an exit, it was a room!! OMG THATS NUTS
Played it before, Ms. Stretch is one of my favorites.
Yeah, she is pretty cute
SAME
Glad i'am not alone :D
How do you download it :,) I wanna play it so bad-
@@JJ_bvz3 no need for a download, it's fully online!
I’m surprised we left in the end, but it makes everything else all the more sad honestly.
I don’t think we were able to leave.
was NOT expecting this to be as effective of a horror game as it is, wow. thoroughly uncomfortable
Nooooooo the poor clowns!!! I love the art style and all of the clowns’ designs and seeing them happy! Seeing them hurt was so so sad!!!
The environmental storytelling of this game is great
he broke the music box so fast lmfaoo
Oh !! I'm so glad to see Manly play this !! I actually spoke to the creator on reddit, they're a lovely human being!! So glad to see their game get some attention
@The Arrogant Writer this is true!
9:02 did anyone notice that when on the reverse track for Ms. Stretch, the cursor is suddenly very battered and cut up, when before it didn't look like that?
I am so glad I watched this, my baby siblings were gonna watch this and most likely get nightmares but I stopped them before they did. thank you manly for saving my family from hours of crying
Damn, this game was impressive. Loved the visuals and overall aesthetic ngl, alway played point and click games when I was young it was a throwback for me
This game's style was so cool!! Most of the clowns were actually cute
Now this game is a really good one. Liked it fr. But the things is, is the man held captive in an isolated room, or is he free? Because I saw some walls.
Who's the man you're talking about?
@@Atomheads The protag
@@Atomheads the main character you’re playing as
I literally played this like somewhere around an hour before you posted this that's kind of funny
I need people to make a art of this game, this has potentials of fandom
Yes I agree
The first jump scare actually got me, it's been a while since a game has done that!👏👏
Clowns are such fascinating animals. It's a shame they are endangered. Same goes for the mighty skeleton, which has gone extinct.
I hated hurting Ms.Stretch.
She was a clown girl and a rubber hose girl. Those are two of my favorite kinds of girl.
This game seems cool, thanks for playing it.
Hell yeah new manly vid just after I finished one
SPOILERS:
Edit: Huh. I wasn't expecting us to survive in the end. That's pretty cool. I feel bad for the poor people who got turned into clowns. But man that Jack in the box was unexpected.
this was amazing, like, the way the scare slowly creeps up on you and the horror as you realise the backstory of each clown, and shit having to torture them ugh
horrifying and scary all the way around, really nicely done!! not to mention a very neat and pleasant artstyle!
I agree. I've never been scared of clowns, and in this game they certainly didn't deserve to suffer like that.
@@lobelia5781 Nobody deserves to suffer
**looks at afton**
William afton: what?
Did anyone notice how when you try to leave the room after cleaning up one of the tape lines say “you will be skinned “
Glad you notice it
You can see the dark eyes of the Jack intenta box for just a second 3:34
As someone who watches true crime this hits different when you remember certain cases
I’m scared of clowns and on my first play through I stopped at mr handy after the lights went out, couldn’t stand it any longer
This sure is a lot of clowns, and they all seem a little unstable.
Like some sort of ... Insane Clown Posse, almost.
*slow clap*
It seems like these clowns are used to portray how they were murdered...and the big clown wants you to find it out, which is why he doesn't let u leave. And the last clown, the jack in the box, was the murderer
That J.I.T.B. was just an neck-poped giraffe (Being portraited in the picture at the right of the box)
After Ms. Stretch died the plate should've said "Ms. Str etch"
That, especially the sound design, was absolutely haunting hjonk :(
Ive actually never noticed this but Manly has like a fucking hot ass voice.
RIGHT UGHHH
so true actually
Yep, very true
Is markiplier a joke to you?
Killing the clowns made me sad. I love clowns :c
Me too boi
That’s why I like grunkfuss
What a nice little game! I love the colourful art style, I like how the horror elements present themselves and integrate into the art style as the game progresses. Poor children though...
Considering that the circus 100 years ago tortured orphans or in some way disabled children to death in front of a large audience makes this horror game even more realistic...
The art is so well done and beautiful but heck do I feel bad for the abducted children and I felt physically uncomfortable watching the second half of the play through… very well done on the dev’s part
I actually cried at Mr handy and ms stretch part.
I wasnt expecting much , but its a Actualy pretty creepy game ! Nice one
Edit: ‘Ight, finished the video and wow, I think I’m scared of clowns for once. OVO
02:53 Ms. Stretch looks cute to be honest
Considering I have a phobia for clowns this is the scariest game in a long time .. 😰
I do feel incredibly bad for the other clowns though. They didn't deserve all the misery 😢
The detail from the hand show, where you twist some fingers more than one time, was incredibly unnerving
Ok I cringed at the torture. Like I didn't need to see that.
That ms stretch part was especially hard for me to watch. I don't usually find horror games hard to watch but this scene in particular was super disturbing, i had myself saying "no, no no" every single time her arm was stretched.
