Have you tried the isolate from a company called Opportuniteas? They claim it’s grass fed from New Zealand, though it’s not certified as far as I can tell. I’m still on the hunt for something like Legion, without all the extra ingredients. Opportuniteas at least has a simple ingredients list.
I’ve done a written review on that brand 2 years ago. Here’s what I can share: it’s not a New Zealand whey and it’s sourced directly from Z Natural Foods. How do I know? When I requested an amino acid profile, the profile stated Z Natural Foods. Regarding brands that don’t offer any fillers, go with an unflavored whey. If you’re looking for flavoring I usually steer people to Pure Choice Farms due to the minimum ingredient profile. However, their flavoring can be a little mild for some.
@ Ha! That sounds about right. Unfortunately, I dislike pretty much everything about Pure Choice, so I’ll probably end up sticking with an unflavored option. That, or I’ll just give up on grass fed altogether, and go back to Dymatize. Their prices look amazing when you’re used to looking at AGN lol. I appreciate the help! These reviews make it a lot easier to sift through all the garbage out there.
@ No problem, always happy to help. I think Dymatize is an awesome protein powder. I'll have a review of both their casein and elite whey done by mid to late February. Thanks for the support!
