Thank you so much for the very generous super thanks! he Jagdtiger is quite a bit more then the regular Tiger, but the Jagdpanther on the other hand is in a very similar place. I have used regular tigers to great effect so perhaps there is some play to the Jagdpanther too :)
@@MordianGlory Down side just like the bigger Jagdtiger is there is no weapons that can be used if someone goes and does a side or rear hit to it since all the weapons are straight forward.
The crews for Jagd tigers were comprised of hurriedly formed crews of vet tank crews from other german heavy tanks and newer crews. For example Otto Carius was moved to the command role of a company of jagdtigers in 1945 and it didnt go well. his records on the units failings was pretty telling of how little time the crews had to adjust from a normal tank to a fixxed frontal gun style tank destroyer.
My father and I have tried this big cat several times. It sure is intimidating, but only really shines in a Tank platoon. I bought him a King Tiger for regular bolt action, almost same cost but 3 MMG. Of course you could just have my father's luck, in an 8 turn game he missed 6 times and then rolled 2 fat 1s to pen on his only hits.
I absolutely will include this big cat in my competitive list, I have a leutnant and 2 10 man Heer infantry squads 50pts 122pts and 133pts and Volkssturm squad for 70pts 10 men, and a KFZ 13 Adler armoured car for 65pts then the regular Jagdtiger for 560pts, My plan is to use the Jagdtiger to clear enemy armour first and then pick off infantry units that threaten my own infantry, before sending in the 30 infantry to assault any objectives at the end, alternatively use the Jagdtiger to tiger fear enemies and support the infantry as they hold objectives.. 6 dice is ok, plus I have a defensive play style so I’m happy to sit on objectives and snipe things off the board.
Mordian my man you were doing so good reviewing things people might actually use. Forget 5 million point big cats that can only be used in meme lists. Let's hear about armored cars and infantry tactics. What's every country's most competitive light tank with a medium anti tank gun? Light howitzer or medium anti tank gun?

It’s an interesting points comparison with the Tiger I…

What do you say to a "Lady of the Night" in a boat with oars? ........ IJA Type 4 Self Propelled Gun
The “Schwere Jagdpanzer Abteilungs” that the Jagdtiger served in were often manned by inexperienced recruits, that’s why they don’t have veterans
This bad boy is the sole reason I have a German army.
Can i get the M4A3E2 jumbo sherman in a warlord wednsday?
Amen

Yeah, like IJA Tanks!
Don't worry I am alternating between fun meme tanks and the good tanks each video :)
@@MordianGlory ahem every tank you’ve reviewed (maybe with the exception of the Panther) has potential to be in the meta
People like you take the fun out of the game, I swear.
