    You should not have to add more chips. Once the smoke ring has penetrated it shouldn’t go farther

    The smoker is on sale. I had to order one. All reviews on the smoker are good. So far it is a five star. Also Easy clean up. People rave on how easy it is to clean. Also no problem with falling apart.

    Great review. Gonna grab one right now. Good to see your fingers and arm touching the outside while it was smoking as nobody ever discusses that safety feature of the unit being safe to touch if children are around.

    Great video! I have about 5 cooks on my East Oak. Brisket will be next. May I ask how many times you changed the wood chips over those 5 hours?

    I'm a first time smoker, yesterday using the other model of East Oak smoker, and Apple chunks [but they were old - maybe that was it] I did the preheat t0 275 then loaded up a whole chicken
    some ribs, chicken breasts and taters, [btw -when I opened that door lots of smoke came out] I then started at 225 then went to 235 over 4-5 hrs, never saw or smelt smoke again, it shut off itself, I took everything out, nothing falling off the bone and NO smoke flavor at all - - - - being alot more experienced at this, could you possibly tell me what went CAW CAW on me? Thone old wood chips - probably 5-6 yrs old? TKS

      You should have refilled the smoker box. I do bout once per hour. Have a coffee can I toss top layer out burnt chips and place new on top of the rest of burnt chips in there. Also did you fill the water pan? That's a major part, and checking on it. Maybe just smoke 1 or two items until you're ready for more experience. I'm only on my 4th time. Each time got better
