    I used to live in RC. No place smells as wonderful as the Black Hills! I miss the BH. Living now in the Ozarks - retired, but there is no smell from the trees other than trees. Sure do miss the smell of the Black Hills - oh, and I miss Wall Drug donuts, too.

      Totally agree on the smell! We just love getting out into the woods. The South Dakota scenery is just beautiful!

    Great video. I was here in 1967 when I was 12 years old and got lost while walking the area around Sylvan Lake and ended up near Harney Peak. No cell phones back then and no marked trails. I got lucky and was found around 6 pm after being lost for 8 hours. Please stay on the trails !

    I LOVE this trail! I am a big fan of rocks - collecting them, climbing on them, looking at them, etc. LOL Gorgeous scenery. Loved it!! 💛

    Wow the water looked like glass! Loved that the trail was pretty accessible and love hikes that have rocks that offer a variance the terrain. Lovely hike.

    So awesome!!! We were there about 1 year ago and did a video right by the lake too!! We didnt get to the the trail, but it is so neat to see someone else doing some of the same things we did!! Thanks for sharing!
