You know that you're a DFB fan when you start recognizing the same video clips being used over and over. I like to make a little game out of it!
"There's that clip of the Minnie Van driving up to the hotel again!"
"There's the one of the giraffe!"
My Aunt & Uncle own The Polite Pig. Obviously I love it! I'm southern, and BBQ is just about the best food there is! (Also the pronunciation on their last name is a little off)
I actually love both and have never had any issues with either. But I'll go with Polite Pig. I love BBQ and have a soft spot for that kind of food. But you really can't go wrong with either. Good video.
I still can't decide which one to eat at on my arrival evening! Tough problem. lol. Also, please AJ, slow down just a bit when you are narrating these awesome videos. Thank you and keep up the great work in putting these helpful videos out.
I actually wasn't a huge huge fan of either place the first (and only) time I went to each one, but I'm more than willing to give both places another try. It's just so hard to repeat visit a place for me only going to WDW once a year when there's always new places popping up that I want to try!
As someone who doesn't eat red meat and very little dairy there is virtually nothing for me at D-Luxe burger. I'm excited to try Polite Pig on my next visit.
Pleaseeeee do a West Side of Disney springs food tour!!!
Can you make a video about how to use the mobile order with your dining plan please?
Paola T. I second this! I'm planning a trip for next year and think we will do the quick service dining plan, so I want to know if you can do things like pay for a drink separately or use a counter service credit for 2 snacks (a rumor I heard)!
Ugh! These videos are making it harder to choose. I’ve only got 72 more days to make decisions and I might just have to double up on food now, lol. Keep up the great work AJ.
Comparing Barbecue meats to burgers is like comparing apples to oranges. Wouldn't Flame Tree Barbecue vs. Polite Pig make a better comparison? Nevertheless, thank you for bringing these menus to my attention!
Did the Premium deal at D lux, honestly it was the greatest deal considering how big those burgers are! My mom and I had to take to go boxes lol
We live in the Midwest where there is a lot of great BBQ, but we tried the Polite Pig last month when we were there and LOVED it! I actually did not care for the huge chocolate chip cookie I always hear about, but the BBQ and sauces (and bourbon drinks) were amazing!
Great job, as always, AJ! If I ever get back, I would have to try BOTH of these - and SO many OTHER places in Disney Springs!!
Polite Pug also has a handful of sauce options! only 4 or 5 but they’re also super good and fun to try
We like the Throwdown videos! Good to have just a simple one to one comparison.
I saw you in the reflection of the beer pump at 6:04 lol
Thanks for the videos they are so good
I regret not getting to try either of these spots!!
Thank you for the good videos, they made it easier for me to plan a Disney trip.
I'd go for the Pig one.
I was at D-Luxe Burger last night and had the best burger that I had in my life! I love it there (and the cast member discount isn't too bad either!) ;)
Hey, no problem, I'm happy to help! I am not 100% sure if any of those specific places get the cast discount but I know for certain that The Daily Poutine, Aristocrepes, The Ganachery and the food trucks give the discount. I think that should remain the same until January as well! I think one of the pizza places also gives it out but I can't remember which one in Springs it is. I hope this helps! :)
Will be there in February and plan on trying both.
D-luxe burger had the best burger and best shake I have ever had. The southern burger was amazing and they had a Cast Member special as well in case anyone was wondering.
I really want to try Polite Pig.
Would love one of these for Restaurant Marrakesh vs Spice Road Table!
Can you do a video about the new Be Our Guest pre fix dinner? These videos are always Amazing!! Thank you so so much!
We ate at the Polite Pig last week. We really enjoyed our meal, but found that we had way more food than we could eat. My daughter and I’m both ordered ribs and each ate less than 1/2 of our food. We could have shared one order of ribs for 2 or 3 of us and ordered extra sides. The food was delicious.
Just go twice and try them both 🤷🏼♀️😂
@DFBGuide You must try the fried chicken sandwich at polite pig, it’s delicious 🤤
Isn't Polite Pig the place with the whiskey flight? My wife got super excited when she heard a place in Disney had one.
Deb.. do you know where I can get the recipe for the corn bread muffins from the polite pig?
Hi, there! What do I need to do to get this tips written down?
Love D-Luxe Burger the prices are great for the size and tast of the burgers. We have never been to Polit Pig.
Does the cookie count as your dessert for the ddp?
Polite Pig all the way. My teenage son ended up with 2 entrees and said he is only eating here from now on! Great brisket melts in your mouth. Chess pie is wonderful. Would get the share plate for my son next time.
I noticed at the d-luxe burger place that if you like your burger well done, make sure and specify that fact! The person taking our order spoke so fast that I did not realize that, I guess, most burgers are cooked medium? So next time I will tell them well done please.
@DFBGUIDE turf club has changed their menu and i really think you should try it.
Both are great!
D-Luxe wins 4 me by a whisker.
Polite pig is freakin awesome!!,
Yayyyy
Great review. Not a very fair comparison between the 2 restaurants. Although both very good, Polite pig is a wonderful barbecue restaurant, Which has Roots locally In Winter Park. If you like Barbecue and on vacation this is The place to go.
I'm now changing daily poutine to Polite pig
liberty tree vs diamond horseshoe
62 days and counting! I'll be there, lalala!
AJ why do you not reply to your fan base? You have such a great community here.
Sun Principe I was wondering the same thing.
I’ve been to D-Luxe only once and the fries were extremely salty. I love salt but these were so salty I couldn’t eat them. I’ve never heard anyone else say this about D-Luxe so I’m wondering if I just got a bad batch. Can anyone tell me if maybe this is the case?
I was there last weekend, fries were delicious. Maybe you just got some that were heavy handed on the salt. That’s a shame because they are sooooo good.
Im fanially here yaehhhhh
Sorry, I didn’t like either. What is with this burnt Brussels sprouts fad. The burger didn’t have any grill marks on it thus little flavour. I didn’t hate either, they just won’t be a first or second choice for dinner.
Anyone know what the difference is between gelato and ice cream?
While both gelato and ice cream contain cream, milk and sugar, authentic gelato uses more milk and less cream than ice cream and generally doesn't use egg yolks, which are a common ingredient in ice cream.
Agree with Mr Moodly and would just add that true Gelato has a creamier texture than ice cream because it is slower churned and stored at a slightly higher temperature than ice cream.
Thanks guys

Not a Polite Pig fan here 😬
What a useless post.
