Amosijoy Canister Filter Unboxing

The 'AMOSIJOY 225GPH Ultra-Quiet Canister Filter' unboxing. Not a bad filter, you get what you pay for. While its too small for my 40 gal, it should be good for a 20-30 gal. At the end of the day though, I would rather pay a premium for quality.

You purchased this filter, saw the price but are unhappy with your purchase or the value provided? I understand that you say it looks cheap but compared to what expectation? It was so bad that it shouldn't be tried, I'd love to know why before I consider this purchase myself.

I was hoping for the best. For the price its a decent filter; although, I am needed something more robust. Soak the hose in hot water and it should be useable. Maybe I should rebuy it and keep it/do a review?

@@norcalaquaticrealms6234 Probably. It's price point and performance for that makes it a tremendously attractive option to many. You don't typically expect to receive a Ferrari when you buy a Honda, but the price makes the Honda a solid choice, and also makes it accessible for lower income folks if it's reliable. Amazon reviews for this seem overall legit, and it seems to be fairly reliable.

@@rustafar_2354 Not sure that comparison works. lol...Cadillac and Hyundai have similar abysmal reliability, but differ in price by tens of thousands.
