It's a great DIY power tool. But the stroke is way to small. The best way could be to have a power saw which utilizes the whole length of saw for cutting. Excellent manufacturing. Great video.

Good news: Sun Y has saved me hundreds of dollars because I make my own tools better and less expensive than a manufacturer...Bad news: I have spent hundreds of dollars making tools I will never use. LOL...OF COURSE I'LL USE THEM ALL BECAUSE IMA MANNNNNN! I don't care if I have to pull somebody off the street to repair a dent on their car because I'm a mannnn and I have to fix stuff. Jerome Lawson I used to fix a lot of stuff because in our days they don't make things that is durable in time especially those fucking Chinese who copy and past everything. I lived in Mauritius Island here mostly every things come from China.
Veej Saurty I have always been fixing the since I was a kid. My parents would give me something broke and I would look at it until it was fixed. I would get stuff out of the Garbage and try to fix it. I figured that if it was still broken after I took it apart and tried then the only thing wasted was my time but education is not a waste so... Ya, its sad the Chinese are related to their government and related to other Asians. I guess the Sam goes for Spanish/Latin Mexicans. Good people...crappy government.

Good job ..however u have 3 limitations..1..Small strock this wearing the effective teeth..2..ballbearing needs collars to prevent slip..3..the weakness in shaft section due to cutting cause high stress & fatigue failer .

this will blunt the blade within minutes. the blade is designed in such a way the only forward movement needs force and rear is to only pull back the blade and not cut it.
