I noticed that the moment I get offended, and my flesh wants revenge and I feel the hurt and wounding. You have to do something with it. You can choose evil or choose to Trust God. He wants to comfort me, protect me, and defend me. If I try to take it in my own hands, I will be doing that in sin, and therefore be God’s enemy, which is NOT what I want! Resist the devil, and flee into the tower of prayer! It’s such a battle because the feeling of hurting those who hurt you, is pleasurable to the flesh. It’s wicked. I was just memorizing Romans 15:4 “ For whatsoever thing were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we ,through patience and comfort of the scriptures, might have HOPE!” I heard Pastor refer to this in this clip, and keyed into it. We need Hope to Trust if we do it God’s way, we will win! We are told the opposite all the time- that we must take things in our own hands and repay evil by being evil. That is the trick of the evil one, to turn us against God’s way, so that we will reap evil. I am placing this issue that I am dealing right now, in God’s hand to defend me, to protect me, and to correct the way of the one who has hurt me. I also pray for my heart , that I don’t let it grow bitter and dark, that I always God to restore what the enemy was working to harm me. To use, to redeem what was meant for evil, to bless me. I pray for strength not to come out from the covering of Heavenly Father by acting in any way that displeases Him. The devil is trying to get me to stab myself after he has. Nope. I am trusting God to do the correction. He sees farther and can reach farther than I ever can! Amen! Thank you for this sermon!
