Your fridge could probably benefit from a couple of computer fans behind the outside vents to help circulate the hot air from behind the fridge. 3 way fridges do tend to struggle in the hot weather we are having right now.
Yeh solid point! Do they just go behind the top vent to extract the hot air or down the bottom as well to push air in? Might be a wise thing for me to do 😊 just gotta figure out where to run the wires too haha
@@AdventuresWithRosy With the caravan we used to have I cable tied 2 fans to the inside of the top vent grill so they blew out. Used white cable ties so they weren't obvious from the outside. And wired them up using a switch to the 12 volt supply to the fridge. I just turned the fans on in hot weather. The more hot air that can be blown out from behind the fridge, the better, I feel. I didn't put any in the bottom vent.
@@AdventuresWithRosy Hi there lucky you guys being able to take a year travelling. Totally agree with Andrew Debbie Bridge about the computer fans for the back of the fridge. We have them in the back of our 3way fridge in our bus and they are just wired into a switch so that they can be turned on or off. Works really well to help stop the fridge from getting too hot. Good luck & looking forward to following the rest of your travels
Awesome Guys New Subscribers here... We are looking at doing a similar thing to you guys. Rent out our house get the caravan and travel with our 3 kids. WE currently have a retro caravan we adventure in, but couldn't to small for 5 of us and winter... We are planning to head off to the states first for another round of Camp America where our kids get to be campers for a US summer, hoping for 2022, then into a new caravan!
Awesome that sounds like a great adventure 😊 we would love to come to America one day and do a lap there, guess we have to wait for things to settle down first! I love a retro caravan but you are right probably a little small for 5 full time haha. That camp America sounds great, do you stay with the kids or leave them too it!?
@@AdventuresWithRosy We'll be camp staff. were there 12 years ago... Watched about 20 of your videos now... Good seeing you resolve the caravan problems.
Oh awesome that sounds neat! Thanks yeh everything so far has been pretty minor thankfully, just had to get the bearings replaced in our car... $500 later 😕 guess that is part of towing your house around!
If you have somewhere safe to store it why not get a 3Rd Gas bottle? That way you will have extra time to find somewhere to get gas when 1 bottle is empty
Wow, cool! Keep Your Daydream did a year in New Zealand in 2019. Look them up. Watching from Cape Cod MA., USA. Subscribed. Thanks you for the video of all the signs, so we can read them. Great family.
You have an adorable family. We always say it isn't a matter of if, but when something will break. LOL. Hope it was an easy fix. Congratulations on your adventures! Lynn and Danny
And so the adventures begin. I managed to get a Poweroak 400wh power station as yours are now out of stock. Thank you very much for your much valued information. Happy travels.
Oh awesome those Power Oak ones look good! I’m really impressed with mine so far, been using it everyday to run my laptop and other 12v stuff. Very handy 👍
Great to see you full-timing it with your lovely children. Harvey is such a cool kid, and the twins are growing fast, I am sure there will be massive changes by the time you come off the road. Stay safe out there, looking forward to your future adventures.
Whoo hoo, the adventures begin , enjoying the vids, let's go and play in park who's the big kid 🤣🤣 , caravan problems ,that's caravanning, I built mine still things go wrong, hope problems fixed easily. 😄🤠🇦🇺
Let the fun begin, looking forward to seeing the journey👍😃 For your gas keep an eye out at Caltex Stations, as we often get out 9kg bottles fully refilled for $25 and if need be go to Bunnings for swappa bottle at $34 👍😃
What a shame that you are not like this in real life… It has been remarked by quite a number of people that you walk around the camp with your nose stuck in the air like you are better than everyone else… Pretty poor showing if you want to be a part of or community, or would you like to just pretend like you are now… And as for being an Ambassador for Wireless Nation, what a joke…
We have been really enjoying our time in the awesome community here in Kaiteriteri and getting to know lots of fellow travellers. Feel free to come say hi 👋
Yeehaa! The time has finally come to hit the road 😀 Appreciate you all stopping by and watching Part 1 of the adventure 👍
And they're off . . . . . . exciting :)
Yeehaa 😁

Awesome thanks so much, think I’ll do the same 👍 cable ties are a fantastic idea, saves building some sort of bracket to house them. Thanks!

Thanks so much, I reckon I’m going to install some now, appreciate you leaving your thoughts on the fans! Sounds like a good idea

That’s not a bad idea but we don’t have to room unfortunately 😞 the gas does seem to last us a while though!

Thanks 😊 haha yeh half the time I get as much out of the playground as Harvey does 😂😂
Great channel! You both are so slick with your production and artwork. Subscribing now. Your kids are the cutest!!
Haha thanks you are too kind 😊 still learning how to use the old camera but it’s watchable haha 👌
How old is Harvey now? How does he like his job as the big brother now?
He loves it! He’s 3.5 👍 that’s one of the reasons why we are going away now, he will be 5 next year so will have to think about school etc 😊
Awesome video bro looking forward to seeing your journey
Thanks, appreciate you watching! 👍
What car are you towing your caravan with?
Hi Carleen, Isuzu M-UX, can tow up to 3T and has a good ball weight 👍
Good luck on full time guys awesome hope to do the same one day
Thanks bro! Hope your well, can’t wait to watch more of the Mazda restoration... looks like a heap of work but a fun project 🤘
Welcome :) will you guys go for more than a year ?
Hard to say haha 😆 depends how much we see in one year! I must say, 10 days in and we are loving this lifestyle for sure 👍
Let the fun begin, looking forward to seeing the journey👍😃

Ah thanks I’ll do that! Bunnings sounds cheaper than Z Stations, think I paid $39 for the swappa bottle. Thanks for the tip 😊
