It's like not having to toss the coin because you realized already before that you actually had on a subconscious level made a choice if at all leaning towards how you want it to turn out, if it was to merely get to know what you truly wanted then you don't actually have to even have any coin at all. Just like how I believe some feelings can be shaped to work with us towards whatever that coin would show to be if enough common traits of the feelings align into what we can recognize them by experience to allow us to do.
For example, if you can't seem to recon if you're feeling excited, nervous, anxious or all of it, the best way for the situation to be a positive experience is to decide it's excited (at very least at it's basis).

Regarding the whole world going to hell and the only possible chance that it not go to hell is if we do not try to prevent it from doing so.:The truth behind this is that any person who sees themselves as separate from the whole, separate from the Unity of what is; when they take action based on this mainly unconscious sense of separation, they necessarily end up recreating the pattern of separation. In other words "a house divided against itself cannot stand" and will end up destroying itself.
