Building old kits has it’s own merits. Like you get to appreciate the newer kits that are being released and see how far their technology in terms of making plastic model kits had come so far
I can see 2 possible custom variants. He is a fan of the Titans, so a minor customization would be painting it with the Titans color scheme. A major customization would be to cannibalize it for an EWAC GM, another Titans unit.
Great review. This kit would look great with a black/grey paint scheme. I also think it looks more like an underwater suit. Instead of getting rid of the mustache extend it into tentacles.

not much of a lore nut, but this design feels out of place for zeon, at least with me. why put so much armor on something that looks like its ment for spotting. not to mention zeon being low on practically everything by the end of the war, why waste resources on something that should not take hits? i think I'd be fine with the head being the kit it self, and leave the rest of the body behind. make this a support unit, something in the back or out by itself, rather than arming it to the teeth. thoughts?
The EWAC Zack is a Federation MS. It's a variant of the Hi-Zack, not the Zaku. Zeon didn't create it, they (more specifically Blue Team of the African Liberation Front) captured it.
My very first "regret". Love the design, but every single bit about this is terrible. The machine gun is ugly, the colors don't match all ober the kit, articulation is bad, parts are too lose , leg thrusters don't fit snug etc etc. But unfortunately, despite all this, I think the design In itself is great.

I really like this suit in GBO2 being able to spot enemy suits is soooooo useful and that custom Zaku MG is great to use.

I made mine into a ewac guntank kitbash! Such a fun kit to screw around with.
I've picked up a few different HGUC Hi-Zack and EWAC Zacks to turn into some of the AoZ variants but haven't had the time to finish them yet.
This is what Mr. Ral should have used in Build Fighters. Those colours and that stache!

EYE Zack has a stand connector, it uses that flat rectangular connector. I dunno if the new stands come with it but the older ones did.
I've had mine for almost a decade now, and every bit you pointed out is accurate. I thought it was cool, but the finished thing wasn't so great.
