    Suggestion:
I was marathoning the Ip Man movies the other day and I thought that it would be a great idea to watch a reaction/analysis video of the movie's fight scenes done by you guys. Maybe it would mean some extra work since it's not the usual format of your content, but I seriously think it would be awesome to watch a sifu deconstruct the scenes, move by move, and show what is useful and what's just cinema.
    Anyway, it's just a suggestion...
Thank you Sifu Alex 🙏 and shout out to everybody on the team !🤘🔥

Thanks for finally addressing the “BruceLeeBullshitChannel”.
He also posted a video of an interview with Max Lee and how he challenged Bruce Lee and Bruce kicked him across the room. Like the Carter Wong real video, he distorts what Max is actually saying by changing the subtitles from the original interview. Yes, Bruce kicked Max across the room, but it wasn’t a fight or challenge. If memory serves me, it was for testing camera angles or just a friendly show of force. Again, if memory serves me, Bruce was concerned he hurt Max and immediately checked on him, but he was fine.
Liars like him and Beerdy do a disservice to Lee’s legacy. That’s why I love what you and Prince from Goldenbell Training do and hopefully will continue to do.

    Three books
I actually enjoyed reading but not purely because they were martial arts books -
    (1 ) "Pa Kua"
    by Robert W.Smith
    (2) "Aikido and the
    Dynamic Sphere"
    by Adele Westbrook
    and Oscar Ratti
    (3) "Chinese Boxing"

Great tip about reading more. I've been working on that; I even bought a kindle reader. The great thing about reading on a Kindle is that there are fewer distractions than reading on the phone. Also, I'm a highlighting fiend. To keep compile them, I use a subscription service that'll archive my highlights so i can organize them on my notes. Because that's the key: make a note of everything you read. It's an eventuality that you'll forget what you read and if you forget, then you might as well not have read the hundreds and hundreds of books. I now take notes on anything i find interesting and store them on my phone. Even stuff i find interesting on podcasts i jot down: I can pull anything interesting like when the KFG talked about how "-the pole is the teacher and the knives are the mother and father" from episode 19 of the theory class sessions. Having a great note taking system is important. I accredit Bruce's immortality on his copious notes.

Hello again Sifu Alex and gang 🤙🏼
I have a question for you I think you might like….
So I was wondering your thoughts on how Martial Arts plays a role in mental health.
We all know Martial Arts makes you strong and fit and turns you into a weapon and all that good stuff. But in your experience, how do you see that it’s made you into the man you are today mentally. How has it bettered your life ?
For me, through Martial Arts and films I’ve found what helped me the most is learning about meditation and learning to control anger and calming that fire down when needed.
Your thoughts please Sir, and thank you for your time 🙏🏼
PS….. Dre you’re a funny dude man, I love the energy lol OSS 🙏🏼

Love the advice about habits, as well as your previous advive on how people shouldn't think too much about whether to take a class or what art they should or can do and just go do it. My question though wonders from your experience as an instructor for nearly two decades what type of people should consider learning wing tsun, physically, or if there are people that you would politely discourage or refuse. Is there an age or size, like a 40 year old or 450lb guy walks in interested, do you treat them like any other potential student or is there a point where you get real with them and tell them to consider doing something else? Thanks!

Another good habit for martial artists would be to minimize outside influences that impact negatively the learning curve of the art so many folks watch some mma guy beat up a wing chun practitioner then say it's worthless but you hear cricket's from these guys when Anderson Silva loses to a UA-camr or excuses like he was old or whatever so good habit would be ignore the negative just focus on the goals that are important to you and your life in martial arts

BRO!!!! I know you've probably gotten hit up on this and if you read this on your podcast I know it'll be weeks out because how you record your shows!! BUT, have you heard Michael Jai White's comment, in an interview, when asked who would win in a fight between Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee, that he feels that Jackie Chan could beat Bruce Lee in a real fight!! (Eye roll insert here)! He based it on JC being slightly bigger than Bruce Lee and basically saying JC was a tough dude and he wasn't a small guy. So JC , not technically a trained martial artist could beat a guy who worked out with everyone he trained and sparred and he would still lose. Regarding size, if you look at the dungeon fight scene in ETD when JC grabs Bruce Lee from behind aren't they basically the same size!!! He was also asked if he and Bruce Lee were the same size (Bruce Lee being his size) he'd still beat Bruce Lee. Just wanted to know if you saw this yet. I know you hate this shit but I had to ask!! Peace Bro!!

I am not sure, but maybe this BLRFC had 1-2 videos online when you see him speaking. I mean seeing his face. But maybe it was someone else i dont know. So or so he is at least better in one thing: He acts more like a democrat and asks his viewers on their opinions in the end of many videos, while Beerdy acts like a dictator and doesnt allow any other opinion.
But sure he also fakes stuff on purpose thats obvious.
    Honestly one little other thing:
I dont know why this "war" between mandarin and cantonese is still going on? I personally find it cheap and completely unecessary.
I mean your example with Li Xiao long intead of Lei Siu lung:
There are also cantonese people who call Jet Li not Li Lian jie but Lei Lin git instead. So they could also respect him and go with the mandarin version of his name, because he himself pronnounce himself as "Li Lian jie".
Same with Bruce s fotos in the shaw brothers studio from 1973 even after ETD:
In some of them he is dressed wearing a blue uniform. 90% of his die hard fanboys dont even know that this man in blue was actually a real historical figure:
It was the chinese military general who is ONLY known under his mandrain spelling, Nian Geng yao.
But no, only because the good old Bruce only spoke cantonese his die hard fans refuse to spell Mr. Nian the way he is known, and "cantoneses" his name to Nien Kan yao (which isnt even correct). It is the same as using Fok Yuen gap instead of Huo Juan jia. This guy is known under his mandarin spelling.
Of course i also respect the other way around:
A couple years ago there was a movie released in the west named "Lin Shirong". I didnt know who that was, never heard of him. Until i saw a real life foto of him, and realized he was actually Lam Sai wing. I never heard the name Lin Shi rong before.
To spell Lam Sai wing as Lin Shi rong is of course utter nonesense too.
So for my money it should be Nian Geng yao (NOT Nien Kan yao) and Lam Sai wing (NOT Lin Shi rong).
I mean we in the west should use the dialect which the person himself wants to, i mean Li Lian jie and not Lei Lin git, but also Lam Sai wing and not Lin Shi rong.
But in my humble opinion to tell a cantonese guy to use a mandarin spelling or a mandrin guy to use a contonese spelling is imo not really necessary.
