When you get a chance my friend listen to this review that you did on these two Batman comparisons because sometimes it's confused when you're holding the mezco Batman you're calling it mafex when you're holding the mafex Batman you're calling him mezco
This to me is really no contest. Mafex version may be a good figure, but the Mezco is pretty much a miniature Hot Toys. To be honest I'm just not a Mafex fan in general. When I venture into that style and price range I usually go with SH Figuarts. I usually prefer their style. I have yet to get a Mezco and I think I will be trying them out soon. Just deciding between which of their Batman's to get! It's between this and the blue Sovereign Knight.
Ben was only “pudgy” in the joss Whedon version, because of the fact that they did so many reshoots months after production. And with the added alcohol. The Zack Snyder version has the all buff all the time Ben since that was all shot while it was during main production, before the reshoots
Man I just ordered this thing(the mezco one) , I haven’t collected figures in years* but I randomly came across this video and that old collector impulse buy came back.
My takeaway from the video: The Mezco one is better articulated than the Mezco one. The Mezco figure doesn’t have a wired cape, while the Mezco one has wires in the cape. The Mezco one with more realistic face paint and cloth suit underneath looks better in a neutral pose, while the Mezco figure with it’s better articulation is good for photography. Man I’m so confused! 😂
How does the normal face on the Mezco figure look in person? For some reason it just looks to 'frowny' to me. That's the only thing putting me off buying it
That’s what I hate about the ma fex armored Batman. It’s tuff to stand by itself. It keeps falling. Mines fell and the arm popped off. I popped it back on but that’s a 80 dollar figure. I’m gonna try mezco to see which is better ..
Yeah even though they have been getting better with their QC issues for $80 it should be better!! Specially since they steady keep creeping the price up
I feel like since Mezco went with the articulation under a suit design they should have paid more attention with the body proportions. They seem to look the same among all their other figures out there and to me that seems to lack a lil effort.
I have a question which character is the tallest the mezco or the mafex..??? because Mezco looks taller.. you didn't measure their sizes in your review

It's absolutely mezco. Like this one isn't even remotely close. Hopefully I can find this mezco tomorrow.
I'm a mezco fan so I prefer the mezco tactical suit coz it looks so bad ass yknow

IMO I actually prefer the more plain looking Mezco, in that I'm personally not a huge fan of the Gold of the Armor

The mezco torso is gets a lot of range in the torso I have the mafex to they both have the equal amount of articulation to me

yeah, it does have a "frowny" look to it, but looks more realistic paint wise then the mafex.
Why does my mafex batman have a greenish color on the arms and other little parts does anyone know why?

I dont have the mafex scarecrow figure, so I dont know for sure. I imagine it probably would, but not sure how the proportions would look

I think the slight yellowish tint on the mafex batman is to reflect the incredibly orange saturation of whedon’s 2017 JL movie.
I really like Mezco but the body that they use are too stubby which makes their proportions weird compared to SHF or Mafex.

Sorry about that, I didnt realize I didnt measure them in my reviews. I looked it up and Mafex stands 6.2 inches while Mezco stands about 6.5 inches
