I’m 43 now. I was a featured twirler in high school and featured my freshman year in college. You are the epitome of excellence! You’re everything I was striving to be. However, I got injured and was forced to quit twirling all together. I love ❤️, love 💕, love 💗 your videos. I think what you are doing for the sport of baton twirling by posting these videos is nothing short of helpful selflessness. When I think of how much I would learn from them were I still twirling, it blows my mind! It must blow the minds of baton twirlers everywhere. I believe I speak for baton twirlers everywhere when I say, “please continue with your priceless content on your channel”!

Why not get back into baton? 🧡
I'm a 32 year old professional and baton is still my sport🧡

@ Cara Storey I am in the same situation. I still have the passion and desire to do but my injury stopped my training and ultimately progression after freshman year in college.
I would love to be able to pick up the sport again or have a local group designed for “older adults” (arthritic. 🥴)that is causal based. Would also be neat to have a higher level to aspire to that is obviously not professional status or teaching children; since I don’t have a child to pass the twirling obsession to and still work a day time job. 😒
@adaline watching these videos do allow me to dream about being able to master the task. You have the best explanation and instruction style I have come across. Man I would have gone a lot further with an instructor like you! I can envision doing the skill based on your through explanation. Keep it up you will a tremendous asset to the new generation of the sport!

i love this! i was a competitive twirler all through childhood; quit for dance and cheerleading at some point but have always loved it. (side note: i kept my batons until my mom unceremoniously gave them all away to goodwill when she sold her house! i was weirdly crushed even though that old super star couldn’t have been more than 20” long 😂)
fast forward to me just turning 50 and getting it into my head that i want to pick it up again for fun. just got my new 30” superstar yesterday and i have to admit i’m a little obsessed with adi and trying to get some of my old skills back! ❤️❤️❤️

This is just from personal experience, but if anyone is having trouble finding a good hardwood surface to spin on at home, wearing socks and spinning on carpet works almost as well
