Draft only rebuild is always my favorite. A return of “draft only rebuild but my scouts suck” from last year would be pretty fun too
Generational talents typically have 5 more vision than discipline, just something to look out for
And how would you figure out if a non-two way pitcher is generational though?
@@StateoftheFranchiseGamingthere isn’t any tell tale sign that a pitcher is generational like there is for a hitter but I’ve noticed that K/9 & BB/9 are usually higher than H/9 on pitchers.

It’s incredibly difficult to scout a lot of hitting prospects compared to pitching. I wish they’d change the scout position option to how its set up in discovery (pitcher, catcher, infield, outfield) so we could get more info on a whole infield crop rather than just 2B or just SS. Good hitting prospects are so hard to find but you could draft 7 A-B POT pitchers every class
Even if it was scout by middle infield or corner infield and then outfield. But totally it’s impossible to scout a group off 2nd basemen
Out of all the rebuilds. This is probably my favorite. Out of all the content. Following a generational player is definitely my favorite though.

I watch and enjoy a lot of your rebuilds, and just wanted to leave a comment to let you know that this rebuild was my favorite one in a while. I was super invested in it the whole way. I know that this type of video takes ages to make, and I imagine that poring through so many prospects, trying to learn which ones might project well, etc., must be pretty mentally exhausting. Not to mention all of the annoying little roster stuff and bugs in MLB The Show. (I really wish they'd put a bit more into the offline modes btw, I still play MLB The Show 20 for the RTTS, since it's been pretty bad since then lol.) The point I'm trying to make is I really appreciate the time and effort that went into this video, and I'm hoping you see enough enagagement and enjoy it enough to do more like it.

Has anyone ever actually seen a two way player? I get they should be rare but I’ve done 100s of drafts and still haven’t seen one.
I did this on my own but for some reason even though I had trades on manual it would trade a few of my players for like a random relief pitcher and also I kept on getting real players through the rule 5 draft and idk enough about the rule 5 draft to like not get some players out of it yk?

Do you know if you can "reroll" your draft pick position? Is there a specific date in the game it happens where you can save the day before and then reload your save until you get first pick?

A tip when you have just a starter or two and Joe random hitters you can put them in to hit and chances are they hit better than the Joe random

If I draft a pitcher with only 2-3 pitches as a starter I add them a new pitch but make it 20 overalls less then the worst pitch they have. So if their worst pitch is like 50 control I’ll make their new pitch a 30 control.
That pitch would then be almost unusable with 30 control (in sim) if you played you may be able to work around it if you're good with any of the user controlled inputs (pinpoint, analog or meter). All pitchers come with 3 pitches minimum.

That’s one of the things the show does with prospects I cannot stand. There are usually 5-6 per class and they immediately begin regressing. It doesn’t make any sense to say a guy is that good and only ever has the opportunity to go backwards. After my drafts in franchise I go through all the AI teams and match those player’s potential to their starting overall.

You should do a video trying to see how many records you could break with players in a franchise. I know it’s pretty hard but maybe with enough time you could have someone break the saves record or home run record or like hits in a season
I got saved with doval once, but nothing else
@@its_b_edits its really rare, they need to make it more common. Especially stolen bases, guys with 99 stealing and speed only steal like 40 bases a season
@@josharata3342 not really, these are all time records and for example no one is going to be like Ricky Henderson ever again. Maybe they should increase some stats, but not to the point where records always get broken

Ahhh Postseason rosters being jacked up when you start, must be #FranchiseSzn . I wish they would let us handle that ourselves with those who are eligible and not just shuffle the deck unnecessarily. Sometimes they make it impossible to shuffle things back to how you had it thru the regular season.
