My mom was always big on sewing, so she always had a few seam rippers in her kit. I've been taking labels off my things just like this since I was a kid. Sadly, I don't have one right now, so as a substitute I've been using my Kershaw Leek pocket knife which has a very narrow blade tip. It's not as good, but it does the trick.
That's EXACTLY the thing! Thank you Its amazing how people opinion on you shift if you wear Adidas or Nike as opposed to just plain shirt And also i hate the fact the they have the obsessive need to put a label in no less then 3 places! And part of them is on the back which scratches like hell
Yes, I grew up sewing so a seam ripper was essential. I too dislike advertising tags and have removed many. I also like to turn away labels on other products by showing the backside of containers like bottles. Even though there can be words on the backside, it is usually smaller and visually appears as a bit of a graphic.
I removed the tags from some of my pants and shorts using a kitchen knife. I have also cut the legs off one pair of pants that ripped and got soaked in blood in a bike accident, and made them into shorts. I don't really care wht others think of it, I just love the clean aesthetic. It's also nice to not have a tag that is in the way and acts as a pressure point when putting a belt on.
your video was a Godsend, i needed to remove a patch from an old expensive military hat without it looking like a dogs dinner and finding this was a blessing many thanks!!!
Shirt labels irritate the back of my neck. As soon as I bring a new shirt or top into my house, I get the seam ripper out and remove the neck labels using the same method as you. If I had a bag like yours, I would remove the label also. It looks a lot better without it. Good move ( :
Let’s hope you tell me a good way. I can’t stand tags and I have lupus and everything bothers my skin. But some tags are not on the seam. They are in the actual fabric not the seam.

Herschel €30 wow that bag would cost you £200 + in London.
if i was in London, i would probably just buy an awesome UK based brand.
Hey Jeff, great advice and video!! Question, what sweater is that you’re wearing? It’s nice!! 👍🏻
+Jeremiah W. H&m
The Buon Life But what is the name of the sweater on H&M’s website?
+Jeremiah W. Oh it's like 3 or 4 years old. Idk.
The Buon Life Ohhhh, ok lol. I like it though man!!
The Buon Life So what does one do in order to meet you, and the guys from Beardbrand??
