Damn that was insane. That clip of Lionel really suffering and crying hits so hard and really shows his dedication and drive. One of a kind!
I’m not a triathlete but I love to see the sport growing so much these past few years. Kudos to the filmmakers of this production
yes, well done to the producers for viewers
holy moly that was intense. Also Netflix type quality. I am pretty sure this will not be the last time I watch this hehe, Great work!
I hope people realise that this whole "push yourself everyday to the limit in training" is marketing hype. The key is periodisation and progressive overload. Pushing yourself to the max in every training session is a gateway to injury and burnout. That's the point about Keinle
You only have to look at Lionels past Full Ironman distances to prove it’s not beneficial to go all out every session
Yes - even us amateurs runners know that ' push yourself everyday to limit' is complete B/S
@@CautionBeforeCoffee Lionel is not going all out every training xD
Sorry, but, "push yourself everyday to the limit in training", its not for all. I m not talking about a perfect body or about genetics, Im talking about desire. You need have desire to get better and get better, and better every single training. Be better today than yesterday. Its about be the best in the world in that session training, in that day, in that week, in that month of your life.
@@violinn5177 You don know much about athletics or training do you ?
22:49 -- *and Lionel took that PERSONALLY* Love from Canada Lionel, you bring us all hope and inspiration
Thank you PTO for this great video !
Huge respect to all these exceptional triathletes who participate in the development of this sport
May the best team win in August !
22:39 Pure Lionel
Top quality cinematics! you really encompassed lionel's intensity and heather's positivity. Great video and excited
love this video, I have been waiting for it since the trailer
Personally I find this very inspirational. Nobody says you must push yourself everyday like they do.. but I believe we must do something and definitely get off the couch! I love people who push themselves in competition. I like this stuff very much.
Lionel Sanders is like Vegeta in Dragonball Z 😄 with Frodeno being Goku obviously.
Anyone else watching this documentary after the Collins Cup ?? It just helps me stay focused !
This was great! Made me want to jump off the couch and do an extra session!!!
Awsome video! Some of best triathlon content I’v ever seen! Looking forward to the nest episode!
Crazy stuff. Triathlon is ❤
I wasn’t ready. The first two minutes griped me!
I hope you filmed Skye. She's the top American and deserves the airtime.
Great. Thank you and wish you the best for upcoming races
I don't do triathlon, but Sanders is fun to watch🤣 I hope he gets those titles!
Ah ah, he is a funny dude !
Amazing video! So good for our sport! Keep up the great work!
Can we all just clap it up for how sports documentaries can really get you fired up for the sports themselves.
Stating the obvious- but, it needs to be said
Self discovery kinda' sport... i love it!
Lionel may not have the best running form but boy he is still fast!
I love triathlon 🏊🏃🚴i love challenges
nice documentary
Congratulations for the next million views 🙂
AWESOME!!!!
Amazing Video!!
Insane and deep!!!
Loved watching it, but in the end I am a real sucker for the Ironman-distance. It's like, 10k running is nice, but hey, it's the Marathon that counts. And if it comes to Ironman: except the World Champioships in Hawaii, there is THE one other race, the European Championships in Frankfurt with more than 300.000 live spectators! Where, by the way, Frodeno won 3- and Kienle won 2-times.
I am not sure this documentary conveys an accurate picture of all the tremendous people featuring it and the essence of the sport, at times it seems too tryhard, too much dramatic music. Really appreciate it though!
Deep
F&@$ing hell this was awesome…… PTO taking triathlon to level it should be
great stuff
Amazing
lionel, sharp pain proceeds to sprint
All three inspiring in their own ways 🙂🥳💪 mentality monster, psychopath and a german 🤣🤣🤣
Every sports cliche all in one film.
Very dramatic
Honestly disappointed in Lionel - in that video he is very negative/rude towards others and obsessed with himself - not a good example at all even tho he is fast! Hope further sport career will humble him up - too much selfishness and negativity!
Can it get anymore dramatic? Bloody hell. Feels like I’m watching a soapie with that intro.
"You can't just stop the minute something becomes uncomfortable" - Do you need to hear anything else? Really? I am pausing this video now and going for a 17k run after work now. Will watch the rest later.
I think that Lionel achieved what he wanted to do. He DO inspire people, yeah pushing to the limits everyday while you are amateur athlete with family and 9-17 job is impossible. But damn while watching Lionel his dedication to it makes you wonder...
More of this please, this type of coverage makes triathlon exciting.
So cool🤩
@34:55
Thats a understatement coming from one of the goats... talking about THE GOAT.. 7:27:53 with a walking finish and half if the race in the rain....
Every triathlete is like a volcano. 24:00 They look calm and reserved in the surface, but all raw burning lava erupts on a race to winning. You can't win without that deep desire. Love the sport!
Can a 49yrs who’s weighing in at 120kg do a triathlon????
After watch these guys hell yes 💪
Brilliant 🤩
These videos have been so motivating to me while i am training for my marathon which is in 3 months. I keep hearing these guy's voices in my head it is so invigorating!
52m12sec without breathing. I felt the taste of the battle.
Amazing video let’s go heather jackson this is great
When will episode 2 be online :-)?
THANK YOU !!!
😍
Jan is still the best
I feel this is just a big show-off. Triathlon is not harder than any other endurance sport.
