I don't read with reversals but I really appreciate the ideas in this video. I use spread positions and contextual cues to add depth to my readings. I love the idea of using a stone as a marker rather than flipping the card. (I can't deal with looking at an upside down image. I want to see the image and the artwork.) What a great idea the stone marking is! I would play with some of your reversal tips purely as an experiment to try something new. These are useful and easy. I can see how using reversals in these ways could add nuance to a reading.
Even though I committed to reading reversals from the very beginning, I benefited from watching this video again. You always seem to have a way of framing things in a way that will be that missing puzzle piece, and poof! things snap into place for me. The teacher is always present within you! So grateful to be able to revisit these videos to further hone my reading skills!
I thought I’d hate reading reversals but I find it gives so much depth to the readings. I use the internal method but also read them as “resistance” as well. Depending on the other cards, position, etc.
I love these tips! I've been wanting to read reversals but always felt overwhelmed by the "right way" to do it, and yet most suggestions I've come across didn't resonate with my feelings when I would see a card reversed (so I would just flip it right side up 🙈) But these ideas make a lot more sense to my brain :) Feeling grateful to have found your channel! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and your light 🙏 ✨️
I’ve got a question and this may sound odd but, I’m kind of ocd and love my cards being UPright because being reversed and left that way I feel it’s wrong, but to need to reflip the deck upright after every reading would be slow but idk how to get beyond this weird way to think.. but I want the TRUTH out of a deck and I feel like I’m holding the deck back into a restricted forced always up way you know? 😅
You don't HAVE to read reversals. Plenty of people don't. When I put the cards back in the deck, I always place them upright, yet there always seems to be one that shows up from time to time. Maybe accepting that when they do, it's meant to be. You can mark them on the table and turn them upright if that works better for you. Be kind with yourself. If it creates too much anxiety, then it might be counterproductive? Maybe allowing it from time to time by mentally preparing before you draw and try rolling with it.
hi. i üst watched your video. i found it very inspiring and useful, thank you very much . one question... with the internal method, and in fact possibly all 3 methods, are you suggesting that the upright message of the card is just as relevant , but because its reversed its asking us to bring in a different way of interpreting , eg understanding the upright meaning but also taking that meaning and making sure its seen from a different perspective ? not necessarily negative, but almost more of a warning to take note of the deeper meanings for the querent on an internal level ?
I don't see the internal method as the "bad" interpretation. When deciding on the internal method a card that is reversed means think about the meaning as effecting your personal internal workings (psychological rather than external world) Pick ONE metgod to use per reading and decide before drawing the cards. ❤️
All the cards are relevant it's just HOW you apply them to your life. With the significance method, pay special attention to a reversed card. Tge YOUniverse is trying to get you attention in this area!

I'm so glad. They day we need to hear things 7 times to really get it. Sometimes I just need to hear it from another angle to have it click!

I think reading reversals can add so much to our reading when we have easy ways of interpreting them!

Welcome! have 6 ways to read reversal, and these 3 are so easy. I'm glad they resonate. Not you can add another layer to your readings!

thank you x@@TarotandWitchery
Whoo hoo! Journaling - love it! Also yes, I bailed on reading reversals ages ago and I fastidiously make sure all my card are shiny side up XD
You are a writer.
Looking forward to seeing you Saturday.
Whaaaaat? It was a lot of bla bla bla
Hmm? Am I to understand you were confused by these three methods?
