a little tip on making your cocoa powder taste more chocolatey in baked goods, bloom it first. all you need to do is boil a few ounces of water, coffee, butter, whatever you like, and mix it into the cocoa powder before you mix that into the rest of the recipe. the heat makes the flavors come out more and bind with the other ingredients so itll be more rich than if you just waited for the heat from the oven to warm it up.
Hint: I'd use a hand blender or a potato masher to mash up the bananas because it would be easier. Or freeze the over ripe bananas and defrost. You'll have great banana puree. Great video!!!
@@FernandoHernandez-nj1kv it’s the fat in the batter that allows it to hold together. It’s essentially replacing the butter, and oil of the batter. The bananas are the starch(flour), and sugar. Now that I think of it, since the brownie is so wet you may be able to add like a coconut flour which is super dry which will firm it up a bit, and provide more texture. And coconut flour is low in carbohydrates and high in fiber (cancels out carbohydrates because fiber indigestible).
Where I live, at some stores, when bananas haven’t been sold & are REALLY ripe, the produce manager puts them in a paper bag with a handle & they are sold by the bag at a reduced price . I buy those, peal them & freeze then in individual plastic bagies for banana bread or smoothies. I will also start using some to make these brownies. These look delicious, I love banana anything. I wonder if a half cup of apple sauce would be an interesting addition to this. Anyway, I’m looking forward to making your recipe. It looks great, and I’m very impressed by your creativity. PS: it should jiggle, not fold.
I do something similar to this actually but not quite the same; Equal parts (1 for 1not in weight) Medium to large bananas and eggs 200gr of oats per 3 eggs/bananas 100gr kakao 30gr sweatner half a scoop of whey protein (I think casein would be better but I can't afford it atm) Airfryer 12 minutes The advantage for me is that I HATE eggs and oats in my regular diet + I have some sort of egg alergy that I can't eat eggs as themselves something that is not broken down creates rashes around my body so this helps me incorporate them to my diet without giving up taste
as a vegan (i cant handle dairy dont ostracize me) and someone who's been watching you for a bit, yet another genius one. plus, i eat a lot of bananas, and i love brownies. seriously, keep doing your thing.

Thanks Rahul! I tried this today. It is a easy tasty dessert but it did not taste like brownie to me. More like choco banana. Still yummy nevertheless!
Maybe I'm missing something here... a banana has about 12 to 14 grams sugar. Thats about a tablespoon of sugar per banana. 6 bananas, cut to 6 bars. So, basically a tablespoon of sugar helps the chocolate go down? 🤓
@@somerandomperson6511 You would think, but no... google grams sugar in banana. average is 14gram. This is about .5oz, which is 1 tablespoon... scary how hidden sugar is in our foods... as for 6Tbsp... that's 3oz, almost a 1/3 of a cup of sugar... Hmmm, for a small 6bar batch of brownies... yea, just about right.... again... 🤓😂
@@somerandomperson6511 Correct... Then again, most recipes are 16 brownie bars and upwards of 3lbs of ingredients... 6 bananas, about 3oz ea. bit more than 1lb for 6 bars... Heck, this time I'll leave the math to you... 🧐

I wonder if a half cup of apple sauce would be an interesting addition to this. Anyway, I’m looking forward to making your recipe. It looks great, and I’m very impressed by your creativity.
PS: it should jiggle, not fold.
I haven’t tried applesauce so not sure. And thank you! Keep me posted if you try this!
I do something similar to this actually but not quite the same;
Equal parts (1 for 1not in weight) Medium to large bananas and eggs
200gr of oats per 3 eggs/bananas
100gr kakao
30gr sweatner
half a scoop of whey protein (I think casein would be better but I can't afford it atm)
Airfryer 12 minutes
The advantage for me is that I HATE eggs and oats in my regular diet + I have some sort of egg alergy that I can't eat eggs as themselves something that is not broken down creates rashes around my body so this helps me incorporate them to my diet without giving up taste
as a vegan (i cant handle dairy dont ostracize me) and someone who's been watching you for a bit, yet another genius one. plus, i eat a lot of bananas, and i love brownies. seriously, keep doing your thing.
also, i often do a mashed banana + a scoop protein + cocoa and espresso powder, almond milk, sometimes pb powder as a preworkout snack. if you get the ratio right its like a thick banana nutella spread.
I’m so happy you can enjoy these! And woah that sounds like a delicious choc covered banana flavored spread
@@RahulKamat of course! your attitude and the genius recipes are going to get you far, and youve already gotten a following so quickly, so i look forward to being able to say i was here in the semi-beginning

Ohhhhh, I was so looking forward to trying these, unfortunately I hate ripe bananas 😢 once there's a hint of black on the skin they're too ripe for me!
Guys, Rahul is the PERFECT cousin. If only there a Rahul for every family in the world, fixing our diet, making us better sons, calling out our evening forearm workouts…
LOLOLOL 😭
This is such an endearing comment ❤
I think u can also substitute avocados and monk fruit sweetner for bananas 😊
I would love to see a banana bread recipe!
I’m down to do one!
@@RahulKamatcan't wait for the banana bread
@yogie15 I’ve posted it! ua-cam.com/video/4pL2-n4d_H8/v-deo.htmlsi=nhvOabyY_YurJRde

We need banana bread recipe! 🍌 But this looks delicious too! 😋
I’m gonna try to do a banana bread recipe for you guys!
@@RahulKamat You are the best! ⭐️ Thank you! 🙏
This looks good. Very interesting. New to this Chanel so need to check out more recipes. Thank you.
Could you make a protein pancake recipe please?
I’d love to!
You could jazz it up with crushed nuts or cherries, how about protein powder? I’ll try your recipe - thx for sharing. Like your sassy personality.
You can also ripen bananas in the oven by baking them for 15 min at like 350 F
I’ve never tried that before. Thanks for the tip
I'm doing weight watchers, lost 50 pounds . So I'm definitely making these . They look delicious!
I bet these would taste awesome frozen! I love frozen bananas! Glad your figuring out how to work in your smaller kitchen. Honestly, you should be making millions off your channel and living in a mansion 😋
I don’t need a mansion I’m pretty happy eatin some tasty brownies in my small apt 🙃
@@RahulKamat Humble and hilarious is exactly more of what this world needs! You da best!🥰
What a great desert/snack. Thanks 🎉
🙌
Has anyone happened upon what is the ideal amount of banana puree? I mashed six medium bananas and it seems like I ended up with way too much. I think it might be better to add bananas until I have 2 cups, or whatever, so it's consistent every time.
I’d use around 700g of banana, or add more cocoa or bake longer at a lower temp if you need to
Never thought I’d see a banana turn into a brownie.. but here we are lmao at least once I make these I won’t have to feel so bad for eating the whole tray of brownies haha
Hahaha who would’ve thought!?
@@RahulKamat I’m about to try out a few things from your videos next time I go grocery shopping lol I think it’s about time to get back into shape and eating healthy again
Lets gooo!! You got this Ethan 🕺
@@RahulKamat thanks man, much appreciated!
@@RahulKamat loving the content keep it coming haha
I made this last year but with shredded coconut. A+
Thanks Rahul! I tried this today. It is a easy tasty dessert but it did not taste like brownie to me. More like choco banana. Still yummy nevertheless!
Ah gotcha! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for trying it out!
Love your new set up♡
Thanks!
Maybe I'm missing something here... a banana has about 12 to 14 grams sugar. Thats about a tablespoon of sugar per banana. 6 bananas, cut to 6 bars. So, basically a tablespoon of sugar helps the chocolate go down? 🤓
Im sure this is a joke but 6tbsp of sugar is still way less sugar than almost any brownie recipe lol
Hmmm, for a small 6bar batch of brownies... yea, just about right.... again... 🤓😂
@@jtrourke667 most brownie recipes I see use between 1-2 cups of sugar
@@somerandomperson6511 Correct... Then again, most recipes are 16 brownie bars and upwards of 3lbs of ingredients... 6 bananas, about 3oz ea. bit more than 1lb for 6 bars... Heck, this time I'll leave the math to you... 🧐
Thank you so much for your content and your recipes 🙏🙏🙏🙏
could this be made in the microwave? like one bananna and 1 tbsp of cocoa powder? maybe try and let us know:D
I think so but I haven’t tried doing that
