There might be a chance for season 6 and maybe more. While season 5 is set to be the final season. Netflix is interested in going past season 5. We will have to wait for more information. Hopefully the entire cast will want to continue and some sort of Deal will be made with Netflix in giving us more of Lucifer saying detective. Let there be Light!
Everyone just needs to watch the hell outta season 5 to prove that there should be season 6 (maybe also re-watch the earlier seasons at the same time when season 5 comes out)

I hear they are thinking about a season 6, honestly if season 5 has a proper story ending than I don’t really want a season 6. Gravity falls has taught me two things, don’t think of your story as you go along; make the full story before recording, and have a proper ending, don’t milk it dry.
