some of you might realize she hasn't uploaded any new content for a while now. that's because she got tricked by a company and might lose her brand Liziqi. she signed a contract with this promotion company to help her promote her contents, but right now this company is taking most of the profits from her channels and using her brand to sell stuffs. she is doing the legal fight against this company right now.
Anyway, just in case if she has to start a new channel with a new brand name, don't be too surprised and please support her if you like her contents.

This once happened to a channel named WAO RYU ONLY IN JAPAN.
The real owner of the channel (I forget his name) had to 'divorce' with the agency he worked for long time due to un-agreeable profit share. Thus, he created new channel without WAO name.

you are right..she is the original, change name or not, we always recognise her. But I hope she win the fight, the Li Ziqi name is her from the start, nobody should take it from her.
Let me explain a bit about why we international fans love seeing her videos...First, they were shot very beautifully, in almost a fairy tale like state. It feels like we got transported to a simpler time where life was not about the hasty, fast paced burdened down city life we have now. Hence secondly, watching her videos calms our souls. Makes us feel that we too can live this simple wonderful stress less life. Thirdly, the settings and landscapes are just breathtaking! Fourthly, the food that she makes looks absolutely delicious and stunning. And the traditional ways of making them is an eye opener for us who don't know how it's done. So, it is wonderful to have stumbled upon her videos. I wish her the best and hopefully is not taken advantaged of and that she gets credit for what she has created.

I agree 1000%! I think the fact she is Chinese has very little to do with her popularity. ALL people EVERYWHERE have the desire to return to the calm, beautiful lifestyle she portrays... living off the land and in harmony with it wherever they are and reaping the fruits of their labor surrounded by peace and natural beauty!
She reminds me of my sister. We were poor, but she naturally embodied goodness and noble character and still does. Her features, the way she speaks, her views on life. Strength and wisdom just resonates through. We were born and raised in rural Sichuan as well, and I swell up with pride seeing such an incredible ambassador to my native culture. I hope more and more of my fellow Americans will seek to look past the BS propaganda of the media machine and see China for what it truly is.

This interview should dispel any notion that Li Ziqi does not speak well and that's why she does not speak much in her videos. She appears ordinary but in truth, she is extremely talented and dedicated to her work. Jia You!

Ordinary is not a word I'd use to describe her.
A someone from overseas, the Pacific Northwest of the US to be exact, she's been incredibly inspiring to me to finally make the move to have my own homestead, and produce as much of my own food as possible. Not to mention giving me the inspiration to try and recreate some of the incredible cuisine from her region. She changed the way I cook, and look at every day life. I'm more invested in learning about the wild food that can be foraged in my region, and also learning how to build more of my own structures and furniture. I truly appreciate the opportunity to learn from everything that has made her who she is!

she's the most intelligent and humble person I've ever seen. So pure.
We learn things from this interview that her videos don't necessarily reveal. She grew up with her grandparents and learned life skills from them. She was an ordinary working girl, destitute at one time when she slept under bridges, but she learned from life. It's the times, the places, daily chores, things big and small she experienced, that made her who she is -- exactly as it is for each and all of us, but perhaps with one difference: she was able to find that something in her that allows her to rise above hardships, self-indulgence and mediocrity, and take things to the next level. That's what the Chinese sages taught; to me that -- not nearly so much Confucianism -- is what being Chinese is all about. No, it's not unique to Chinese culture -- exceptional people from around the world all have the same internal fortitude. In this sense Li Ziqi is a somewhat surprising inspiration (LOL).
You've hit the nail on the head. Her authenticity without words for showing how real Chinese provide inspiration and successful cultural outreach with foreigners, is a seen by US propagandists as a deadly threat to their "hate China" and "China bad" narrative. I hope her example continues to inspire the organic growth of similiar Chinese creators, as their work inadvertently contributes directly to world peace.

You may have a point to make, but please understand that expressing your point persuasively and coherently is far better than finding a meaningless argument with me, or as in this case by putting words in my mouth. Li Ziqi's relationship with her grandmother is admirable and commendable, but in itself is neither exemplary of Confucianism, nor even necessarily fits the prescribed Confucian model of "filial piety" -- not to mention that it's beside the point in the current context. The more powerful inspiration from Li Ziqi, as revealed by the interview here, has to do her ability to rise above hardships and her own limitations. In her own way, she is showcasing the same remarkable resourcefulness and fortitude in overcoming dire circumstances, and in making amazing achievements, as Chinese society as a whole has been able to do in the last forty years or so.
The following is for those who has some knowledge of Chinese culture and history. To understand Confucianism, and to put it in perspective of the development of Chinese society, you need to understand Confucius' life mission. It was to promote a social/political order that is best summarized in 君君, 臣臣, 父父, 子子 ( see The Analects - Yan Yuan; or 论语•颜渊), and he spent years calling on rulers of his time to spread his ideas. He failed in his mission, but in the two thousand five hundred years that followed, that model was to have profound impact on moral, social and political thinking in China, up until the May Fourth Movement in 1919. Again, 君君, 臣臣, 父父, 子子: this is what Confucianism meant for all that time. Alongside the order and cohesion it is credited for bringing, there was also great harm and severe restrictiveness to Chinese society brought about by its very rigidly interpreted promulgation.
My only suggestion to you is, learn how to spell Confucius.That might be a start for you. Have a good life.

She balances exceptional skills and hard work. She is the epitome of what humans are capable of. That is why she is so famous. Some people claim to be influencers so they can sell this and that but what benefit do they actually provide. What skills do they actually possess. Any product can be sold no matter how awful it is. But to be a real influencer. A real inspiration. You have to give 100% of yourself and your ability to what you are creating and it has to be excellent. That is a rarified air and Li Ziqi is one who operates in it.

Some (Chinese) video producers reported that Ms. Li's 'stomach was turned' (meaning very indignant) and that Ms. Li reported to police (on some people's wrong doings). We hope those who took advantage of her and her name, her productions be prosecuted/sued, convicted and punished.
Love the fact that she uses Organic Utensils When Cooking. Even all those tools she use when working in the Garden i love them all. Most utensils we use in the cities are loaded with so many cancerous chemicals except the iron for cooking. Those Bamboo spatulas, clay cooking pots, bamboo baskets, ceramic pots, all the things she use I love them all. Also her foods she cooks are all fresh from her fields or Graden. One of my favorite photos is a screenshot l took that showed l was the first person to view one of her videos, l still fondly remember how excited I was at the time. It’s not just the content of the videos that l love, it’s also the presentation of that content - the professionalism and attention to detail is world class.
The magic of the Li Ziqi videos is the perfect balance between her enormous talent, the stunning esthetic of all the surroundings...the countryside, the beautiful bowls, pots, bamboo objects, the natural colors, the perfectly matching music, her personal beauty, her endearing Grandmother, and so much more. It all seems so natural, but I am sure it is hard work, not only keeping such a large garden so well attended, but also planning all activities. Thank you so much for making this interview available on UA-cam. I will say this I watch Li's videos from Australia and what I love is her love of nature, seeing her wandering the crops and garden, pulling her produce from the ground and cooking and preserving the wonderful fresh produce. I think in the world we live in today, society in general has lost touch a lot with the natural world, plants, gardens, agriculture. We spend too much time in supermarkets and malls and tend to believe food comes in plastic or canned goods. These videos remind all of us that the Earth is our Mother, and provides our food, water, plants and our medicines from her. The seed is planted, the sun shines, the water falls and the seed grows, the natural world is a wonderful place and Li lives surrounded by it. I live in a city so Li's videos are so therapeutic and relaxing really. She is also a wonderful cook and I love seeing what she will cook next. Her crafting and building things is also fun to watch. I've wanted to know a bit more about her and this interview provides some insight into this lovely lady that I didn't have before. Again Thank you.

Never in my life have I seen such an amazing woman... when I watch her vids, I feel as if I´m watching one of those wonderful asian fantasy movies.... I have to pinch myself to remember that Li is a real person.. and to top it all off, she´s as beautiful as a fairy tale princess
I like to watch Li Zybi videos, especially the presentation of a video of how a fragile girl works from morning to night, how to cook food. For me it's the food I like about her videos and the non talking aspect. It's something to just observe and take in. I don't get a fairy tale vibe from her, but a rural, hard working and down to earth vibe.
I think it's very commendable that she takes care of her grandmother. I wish I could live like that while still having access to the internet. This summer I've planted veggies for the first time because I was inspired by her. It's such a nice feeling to walk out into your garden, take what you need for your daily meals.
