Good to see the Land Rover earning its keep. At $15/ha are you paying for fuel or the farmer? I've found farmers generally want to supply fuel but that might just be cultural for my area.
Hi Hayden, I was paying for the fuel this time. These Neil ours will often shout me some file as well, and during harvest file is defiantly supplied by the farmer.

Does spraying require any sort of certificate these days? I know back in the day it didn't, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if these days with environmental regs, etc. A bit like you need to have done a food safety course before working in a kitchen, do you need some sort of chemical applications cert for spraying?
Not sure what the rules are out west , but over the east side you are supposed to have done training and have a Chem cert , basically just a one day course but you need to be able to demonstrate you can read and understand the label of a Chem for its use, rates and restrictions . You need to be able to unstand how chems should be stored and transported, how to apply them correctly and a how to do accurate record keeping
Hi Jim, yes there are 1 day chemical courses that you should do to. I should have mentioned that. You need an understanding of the chemicals and how to mix them for the number of Ha you are covering and for the volume of the sprayer.
