Will never forget the 1987 game at the Orange Bowl I was a young kid, and it was the last game for my canes against the Gators before you decided you didn't want to play in the game anymore, and we kicked Gator butts... It was a glorious day... Randy Shannon intercepted a ball and returned it for a TD and he was running right at me, and made eye contact with this young boy.... God bless Football, and College Football rivalries!!
I am a Miami Fan and I get tired of hearing it every year, Lawd just show me... I am not saying the team is saying how good they are gonna be, I know the Media always does it and I almost wish for one year, Miami would just go under the Radar for one off season and then just show us.... Miami will NEVER be what they were and before they could ever get close they need their OWN DAMN STADIUM
Cam Ward was #8 in the nation for passing yards last year. #5 for Power 5 QB's. Only Penix Jr, Nix, Beck and Daniels were ahead of Cam Ward. 3 of those guys are in the NFL right now.
GT Offensive line against FSU defensive line was a little surprising, but the other side of the ball was absolutely wild. Besides one big breakout run from Toafili for 28 yards, the 1-2 punch combo of Roydell and Toafili ran 19 times for 42 yards (that's 2.2 ypc). That's insanely bad. I don't know how fixable that is. DJU was fine actually. He did what you would ask a first time starting QB in Ireland should do. We weren't sure about their WR talent, we weren't sure about DJU himself. I definitely thought GT, after watching their Georgia game (I don't think people understand how incredible it is that GT's final score against Georgia was the only time, besides losing to Alabama, that Georgia was in a 1 score game in the fourth quarter, their other 4 ranked SEC matchups had an avg margin of victory of 26.5, Mizzou was closest at 9), had a chance to string this game out and win. How they won it though was not just shocking, but incredibly bad news for the Seminoles. GT didn't blow the top off, they ran the ball well enough to control the clock and keep DJU off the field, and they also had an incredibly stout defensive front and held FSU to 98 total rushing yards. That's a yikes for FSU. DJU will get better, but this also means they're likely going to have to rely on him to win games later on. What's he do against a Cam Ward, or a Mertz, hell even Klubnik who should have a better running game. They quickly went from ACC favorite to a potential 4 loss team being a good out for them. That's rough.
Lyles is the 4th or 5th string RB in this year's Miami RB room for 2024. Insane how good Miami's backfield is. Martinez, Fletcher Jr, Allen, Chris Johnson Jr. It's so deep that 625yd rusher Henry Parrish (4.9ypc) had to transfer out, back to Ole Miss. GO CANES!
Hopefully home field will help but with Napier this has not been such a big advantage. I have zero confidence in Napier as do most gator fans but he can change that starting with this game.
Look at this matchup in the simplest terms... Miami has the better QB, RB's, WR's, O-Line, D-Line, TE's, LB's and Kicker. Florida has homefield. Now if you had to put your money on the game objectively.... who you picking??
Live stream complain, can you do some mixing of Andy's or Jesse's mic levels? If I turn it up to be able to hear Jesse speak I'm getting slapped in the ears with Andy's voice. It's not a bad voice, just too damn loud (I actually think Jesse's probably a bit too low on the mix).
Tebow is a great dude, but the fact he's not really talking about football and the reality of this match-up is sort of corny. At the end of the day, Miami has the better offensive and defensive lines and better-addressed needs in the transfer portal this year. The Canes were also a 10-3 team with just DECENT quarterback play last fall, instead of the hot mess where Tyler Van Dyke totally fell apart. Unless we see Cam Ward giving this game away, Canes win this one 30-23 or somewhere in that range, while the Canes rotate out a deep defensive line that will be coming after Mertz all day long.
There’s a Category 5 Hurricane coming to Gainesville on August 31st. It will hit Gainesville at 3:30pm EST. Are you ready Gator Nation to get your butts handed to y’all? GO CANES! 🙌
I'm a Cane fan that has tremendous respect for Tebow and his Christian stance at all cost!

Timmy makes me wanna shed a tear , dude is the GOAT as a player and man
could not agree more and I'm a lifelong, diehard Canes fan, but always respected Tim and was happy for his success.

This is a "Must Win" game for both Billy and Merry O! Tip of the hat to both of them for agreeing to this match up!
Coach Napier has a video of the Florida Rivals that each freshman class watches.
I get so sick of hearing how great Miami’s going to be. I’ve heard it for the last 10 damn years.
😂😂😂😂 Yes you are going to keep hearing about it

Florida by an incredibly large margin.

I don’t think I would say NFL quarterback with Tim he tried. I’ll give him that.
He won a playoff game! Keep hating if that makes you feel better!
Ask Pittsburgh in the playoff.
