Proud of you for standing your ground even though you don’t like confrontation!! Plus sometimes talking about small annoyances out loud help us see that they are just small annoyances and not what our brain makes us think they are!!

Also quick tip when transferring a plant, break up the roots at the very bottom to help them grow into the new soil 😊

Hey Jess! Plant lover and previous Garden Nursery worker, love the plants you chose - just know that next time you transplant (switch it into a new pot) loosen up the roots a little bit so that the plant realizes it’s in a bigger container and not still in the shape of the old pot.
Also you got this! To see if they need water check with your finger up to your knuckle if the soil feels damp don’t water as overwatering can cause root rot which will kill the plant. But if the soil feels dry, give it a good water till the soil feels damp. Hope that helps!

Looks soooo lovely! Just a tip from a plant gal (and you may have done it but not visible in the cut): when you're repotting something, when you have added enough soil into the bigger pot, loosen up the roots on the plan from how they have taken the shape of the nursery pot, so they're free to grow into the new soil. You don't have to be too precious about it, just scrunch them away from themselves a bit so it frees them up :) Happy days! :) x

Oh nooo Fiddle Leaf Figs are so dramatic! They don’t like too much sun, or too little sun. They also don’t like too much water but get dry with too little. That room is nice and bright though so hopefully it accommodates well. I would definitely recommend reading up on them if you don’t already have one. I have one and took me soooo long to finally figure it out!! Also, loving the office!! Good luck with the plant babies! 🤎

Relates in fellow silence of genuinely not enjoying any confrontation of sorts. It really isn't difficult to be kind or nice omw. So ever since covid we've had to migrate to online interaction, so anyway you know we're students doing uni and we've got different groups for different modules, anyway (just thought I would provide context), people are constantly asking for help either with class links, or whatever but what really gets to me is THE WAY THESE PEOPLE DEMAND FOR HELP!! This has been going on for while until last week my non-confrontational self snapped, and I basically called them out like ' oi listen up, it doesn't take much to put please at the end of a request because it just isn't hard to do. I panicked for like a good 5 mins and then other people commented and agreed and I calmed down but yeah- that's ny story, super proud and happy that you stood your ground Jess. Love you
