Im alone in camada & I try to go back home every 2 years but due to covid.. i haven't been able to travel but God! Im so happy for jess 😃😊❤ . its good thing to know that some of us can still see our familiy👏💖.

Same here, i’m from New Zealand and my boyfriend lives in the US, so times are pretty tough due to covid restrictions. But watching Jess & Gabriel helps remind me that long distance is worth it. Already been over a year since we last saw each other, likely will be another year on top of that before borders open 😞

being excited to go home is not a bad thing. i’m happy that you’re sympathetic for others who are not able to see their family but that should not intervene with your emotions and experience when seeing your parents and siblings. it’s good to be grateful and feeling blessed for being able to go to australia but you shouldn’t feel guilty. hope your trips goes wonderfully. :)

BE AS EXCITED AS YOU CAN BE. I doubt there's a single aussie here that would feel mad about that. If I could go back home right now, financially, I would. It's been 3 years and I'd love to see my family. Especially my old grandparents that are on their way out. This is so cool to see, and I want lots of updates!

Im from Australia... Well got married and moved here just before covid and also haven't been able to see my family for nearly 16 months. As the borders to NZ were also closed. But FINALLLLLYYYY going back in a week!! So exciting for you also to be coming back to Aus. And I know how hard it is to move away from your family and not be able to see them for so long!

I’m in the same boat as you!! I moved to Sweden from aus two years ago when I was 19 and I havn’t seen my family since I left. I want to go this summer, but it’s soooo expensive And it’s rough to be in quarantine for 2 weeks. Will keep you in my prayers!! Xx

I'm so excited for you and Gabe. We got to go and get my Dad from his managed isolation facility yesterday after him being in Australia for four months for work since the 20th of December. How did you motivate Gabe and how did you stay strong and optimistic? Do you mind sharing your perspective in another video?
