Gunslinger is the best thing ever happened to me. No issues. I'm trying highflier I thought I suck with that thing but I keep trying All rinse bars are cool, try Gardiner fan jets rinse bar
I have been using Wagtail High Flyers for several years and have been satisfied, in spite of the low moisture retention pads. I spray or squirt soap on the windows and use the pad just for scrubbing. I have used lots of Reach-It brushes the last 6 years and have not had problems with their over the top rinse bars for both performance and durability.
If you guys haven't, try the basic blue and white Pulex microfiber sleeve. It has the button closure instead of the Velcro, which last a lot lot longer, it launders extremely well and maintains absorbent. You might miss your abrasive end, but that's what wool is for. Lastly, with the price point you can't lose. After using 6-8 different styles of washer sleeve I always go back to the basic, cheap, quality Pulex microfiber sleeve.
Great Video as always. I know its hard giving any opinion with kit as we all have our own way of doing things so whats good for one doesn't work for another but its always nice to see wether other people agree with your problems. 👍

Absolutely man! Dont get me wrong, we have added some new tools that has really been worth every penny. But other like the gunslinger or tucker rinse bar just didnt work at all.
Great video i could appreciate the honesty. Some times it takes a minute to realize some tools we like at first just aren't what we thought. Thats the Liquidator channel for me. Hate it.
speaking of liquidator, does the excelerator mod with standard channel have to be detailed? I keep trying to make the liquidators work and even succeed sometimes! they are irritating but when they work it's nice to not go back and detail. thanks.
They should just make a slim plastic insert for the gunslinger. You could just remove it to empty any water and keep it clean. The wagtail, I just use it to straight pull at weird angles that are high up. Not a fan of it otherwise. Channels, I haven’t found one that I didn’t have to modify in one way or the other. That friggin sleeve, I have one and I’m going to rip off the crappy Velcro and sow on a stiffer one. Mines falling apart after 2 washes. And I’m with you on the rinse bar, no thanks, I need all the water pressure I can get! My two pennies 😂✌🏼
Hey Guys, really appreciate your personal views and opinions. Honesty is the best policy. Thank you as hearing these reviews educates others and broadens our knowledge. Why make mistakes that cost money and time when others are giving this million dollar experience and advice. Thank you
Another good video! I had intended to buy a Moerman sleeve until they changed it. What in your opinion is the best alternative? Also, my 4 year old son says "I like the beardy guy" and that he likes watching you clean windows 😂 Apparently you guys and Trad-Man are his favorites.
I thought I was the only one who didn’t like the over the top rinse bar from Tucker. I also agree about the rinse bar on top, not enough pressure. I wanted to use it on some of my commercial jobs with the hydrophobic glass but I’m just forced to do it traditionally.
The gunslinger is the best. I have had no issues for a year now , I use the gunslinger 6 days a week. It's still like new. I abuse it, it's holding up great, and it's awesome.
Rinse bar.. will break a window, will scratch a window, flow not that great in some properties. I ditched ours after a month. The gunslinger was a huge waste of money. We wanted to love it but when i would walk in a house, water would splash all over the floor and my leg . You guys nailed it.
I use my gunslinger in houses all the time and I love constructor brushes... don't use it like a tasmanian devil. Over the top rinsing produces much better results and is easier on your body. Just my honest opinion.
Thanks for this vid! I tend to buy equipment because I think it’ll make my work THAT much better. These are five less tools i will be tempted to buy hahaha
Thanks man! we are just trying to give an honest opinion. Some folks use these tools and love them, and there is nothing wrong with that. We just didnt care for them. We always say do what works for you and your company!
Luke The Window Cleaner the reason I say that is because I use a lot of the techniques you teach to clean windows haha! I see what you’re saying though who knows when I’ll need one of these!
I have to force myself to use the wagtail...one of my worst purchases. The rinse bar-THE BEST! I do need to get a plastic version but most glass in Vegas is hydrophobic and our water pressure is pathetic so I run a booster 99% of the time and have no issues with flow. I am grateful, as always, for your opinions and feedback. Have an awesome day.
The Wagtail High Flyer does suffer from the worn flip-lock and the thin pad, but that two-axis swivel is so fun to use! Did your pad doubling mod improve things or make it worse? The stock thin pad is nice and flat for scrubbing but short on solution retention. Squirt bottle is a must. I'd put Moerman Liquidators on the list but they do work well with a solution bordering on "Jelly". ;-)
The classic wagtail orbital squeegee is the only wagtail you need (plus an 8 inch slimline for colonials, or french panes as you call them). I reckon most of their other tools are designed to get people buying them as they are a business after all. The original orbital is so good that one of the blokes I work with is still using his original 14'' orbital after over 10 years and it works like new. We both now use the 12'' as our bread and butter, and it's so good it feels like cheating. The secret is that super thick channel that's riveted on and the pivoting handle.
We don't leave the house without our gunslingers and our wagtail high flyers. We did try a moerman over the top or whatever it's called and promptly shelved it. waste of money and time. quality is horrible. bought that based on your high praises. our gunslingers don't leak and when inserting the tools properly, as shown in their videos, it works quite well. we don't fill them with water, we use pump sprayers instead of lugging big buckets of water around everywhere. moerman can fill up every number on this list.

Thought you were exaggerating about the build quality on the Moerman sleeve... Then I tore the damn velcro right off before I even got the damn thing wet 😒
I "think" making the mold is the costly part but after that, for large volume, injection molded plastic would be far less expensive than milling aluminum. Perhaps for a small run of parts, injection mold might not make sense but machining is expensive...

If that thing is set loose to move freely when you flip it to use the DA Scrubber it is literally almost touching the glass. So that thing came right off.
