I haven't pulled since Gloria, and ended up getting Saffiyah pretty early in my pulls fortunately! but I'm way behind the play curve and only on chapter 6 in the story so far ha
I never paid attention to the Saffiyah hype, I only looked at her skills on the banner and the trial battle you can do, not before. She's nice. I summoned for her. 150. OUCH. All my stuff gone. But I got her. And now playing with her she's even better than I thought. What's great to me is that she's SO MUCH FUN. That's the best thing about her imo. And she can be brutal :D. Now I still want Homa and Hasna, young Rawiyah I think (though idk her skills yet), and the newest mages and maybe that servant seeker... we'll see. Idk if I can pull it off (pun intended).
I agree, I also not too interested with safiyah, but I choose to pull for her since her aura is made for everyone and I need a physical damage dealer other than my cole.....and she IS fun. one of my best investment than simona and cocoa.
If you too low on pull, consider skip Hasna and go for Homa since Hasna good with her Damage but later many other Unit could put out even more better Damage like Tristan for example.

Pul the first 10 summons, got 2 of her copies. Continue 10 with no luck. Then on the next 10 got another of her copy. I guess I was super lucky in this pull.
probably my stalker would be xavier. i have read about how bad he is as a unit on my first week and tried to avoid him since then but got him anyway, twice. but now that i made him the guard of my clash base i just realize that he isn't that bad at all. it's been 4 days that no one has ever dared to set foot on my clash's grounds.

Had to pity Saf. I'll be honest, I kinda wish I skipped, not because she's not good but because I wanted to use Acambe some and I pulled Innana during pulling for him. So I have a few new units and wanted some time to get used to them. Now I have 4 units to get to 3*. Ugh. Mine is Nergal. He keeps coming home even when I chain him to the bottom of a well.
I love your videos and I think more people should have your mentality about summoning in gacha games. I believe it would incentivize the devs to make better decisions about the future of the game, instead of pumping "more characters, more bigger number".
I was a f2p up until Acambe. I was able to get Cocoa, Nonowill, Dantalion, and Simona up to 3 stars all f2p. When Acambe dropped I spent $50 trying to pull him but couldn't. I pulled at least 130 times and needed like 40 more for pity. As soon as Saffiyah came out I was able to pull her with one 10x summon pull. Honestly kinda glad I got her instead of Acambe but not being able to pull him really made me kinda not like the game that much anymore. I was always able to save currency and get the person I wanted but Acambe really demoralized me.
You actually have better rates than mine. Got a Miguel from 90th pull only got safiyyah on my 150th pull. That was one of my worst gacha luck so far in any gacha game since 2013. 2% rate on my account seems like 1% gacha rate, idk. Even my hsr luck before was far better. Now my luxites are drained. Although i still have SoD to starf doing to get luxites since i have not played it before since launch lol.
I know exactly how you feel. I used to make One Piece TCG content, and even though I worked hard on them and showed clear passion, people would find some way to throw hate or say, "I don't know what the hell I was talking about." Seriously, you are doing great; just ignore them.

This game needs better summon packs. I got screwed after Cocoa and that Ice girl and went to pity on Cocoa and Gave up on Ice girl. Saffiyah came home on the 80th pull. Game needs a 50/50 as well.

Couldnt get her as I was summoning her I said to my self if I dont get her with my summons I will quit this game I swear to god. and I got her on my exactly 120th summon. Saved for months just to see it gone in less than 10min. I got her but I felt defeated.

In his past videos it was clear that he tries to get sponsered by "XD", in a "why play SOC" video he specifically had a point in which he described the content creator programm as the best way to enjoy the game. This video was directed at the algorythm, yes, but also specifically at XD, he hopes that the company will take his tier list and make judgements based on that. f2p. never pull for acambe or cocoa. 90 pulls got saff and i got 300 pulls more for auguste, homa, agatha and tristian. i got a lot of luxite from story, weekly tower and the story event one where u got a lot of luxite

I come from playing Fate Grand Order, I think I'm cured about losing saved resources for a long time, if it comes out, it comes out, if not, no, however I believe in this game the way to earn those resources is scarce, apart from the fact that the game It has become repetitive, on a general level I think it is in a bad place, I want to continue playing but sometimes there are levels that do not inspire you to want to play.

i only have enough reserved luxite for auguste pity but i tried pulling 20x for saffi and failed, i stopped summoning after that cuz if i get her ill be fked lol. arthur said saffi is not necessary to reach the top 90% leaderboard when the tower update released.
@@AIIXIII0 But odds DO matter. 20% chance on a 10 pull is way better than most games. Only needing 1 copy is a lot better than most as well. They just need more in-game currency for events since they sped us up.
@@thec9424 tbh I rather take limited banner than higher odds. Odds can be standardized among all gacha games but limited banner is where its at. This come from someone who got Cocoa in 50 pulls, 1 Safiyyah from 10 pulls and another copy from 40 pulls. Like in HSR, I skipped Topaz which was integral for Fua team but since I didn't need her and haven't build a unit of that team.. I can comfortably skip her and get her next time. I did get her after I have few units available. For SoC, I suggest introduce friends unit so we can scratch that itch until we get the unit next time. RIP for new players after Safiyyah banner ends. They can only get her in destined which is worse. In-game currency as seen is locked behind SoD. There's bunch of them there but I do agree we need more from events. Idk the counts but perhaps around 20-30 pulls for big events? I don't pull much but I like to have big stash to keep. But your way is the way since banners are already set in stone. The one I thing I hate in this game is no way to get gold units. I want my Lightning & Stormbreaker 😭 I was hoping to get them while pulling for Safiyyah.
Yeah, the AI panic has definitely encouraged a good chunk of people to really double down on their narrow perception of what an acceptable “normal” looks like. It’s obviously hit neurodivergent people from every direction, and I’ve seen a pretty big uptick in accusations against content creators with an even slightly monotone voice. That aside, though, it really is a shame that this community has gotten so at each other’s throats when it started off seeming so wholesome to me. I was really worried about a shift like this when it seemed like XD was more inspired to action by complaints about content creators than complaints about the game itself. I don’t really know what to say other than that I hope things turn around soon.

I think CCs should stick to covering the Game itself and not stir up Drama amongst the Community and especially amongst the CCs. I mean a CC tier list, really? not sure why people are so butthurt about saffyah dropping at a different time or making videos about future units. more time = more time to save for the unit you want, powercreep barely matters in this game at all. Talking about future units is completely fine, you re talking about what is out in other server, its information based on that and people should know that when absorbing it. As long as it is disclaimed properly it shouldn't be an issue.
Too many first timers playing gacha in SoC. These are the same clowns thinking SoC is the best gacha and have already dropped the game at this point. A gacha that only has PvE is trash in today’s gacha environment. A good tactical gacha must have interactive game plays (I.e guild PvP). Back to your point…people should never take “prediction” videos seriously because nothing is 100% until the company said so!

i only have enough reserved luxite for auguste pity but i tried pulling 20x for saffi and failed, i stopped summoning after that cuz if i get her ill be fked lol. arthur said saffi is not necessary to reach the top 90% leaderboard when the tower update released.
The gacha mechanics just sucks and it's just made to make money.
I have gotten far more units per summon than any other game.
Obviously it's luck, but the gacha itself is a tremendous piece of crap.@@thec9424

Hoyo limited banner style is still better because skippable.
@@AIIXIII0 But odds DO matter. 20% chance on a 10 pull is way better than most games. Only needing 1 copy is a lot better than most as well. They just need more in-game currency for events since they sped us up.
@@thec9424 tbh I rather take limited banner than higher odds. Odds can be standardized among all gacha games but limited banner is where its at.
This come from someone who got Cocoa in 50 pulls, 1 Safiyyah from 10 pulls and another copy from 40 pulls.
Like in HSR, I skipped Topaz which was integral for Fua team but since I didn't need her and haven't build a unit of that team.. I can comfortably skip her and get her next time. I did get her after I have few units available.
For SoC, I suggest introduce friends unit so we can scratch that itch until we get the unit next time.
RIP for new players after Safiyyah banner ends. They can only get her in destined which is worse.
In-game currency as seen is locked behind SoD. There's bunch of them there but I do agree we need more from events. Idk the counts but perhaps around 20-30 pulls for big events? I don't pull much but I like to have big stash to keep.
But your way is the way since banners are already set in stone.
The one I thing I hate in this game is no way to get gold units. I want my Lightning & Stormbreaker 😭 I was hoping to get them while pulling for Safiyyah.
2% is incredibly low for a legendary unit and on top of that you can lose 50/50 continuously.
Bad gacha system in general
The worst part is its not limited banner. You have to go all in now or good luck getting them next time. You need like serious luck.

Yeah, the AI panic has definitely encouraged a good chunk of people to really double down on their narrow perception of what an acceptable “normal” looks like. It’s obviously hit neurodivergent people from every direction, and I’ve seen a pretty big uptick in accusations against content creators with an even slightly monotone voice. That aside, though, it really is a shame that this community has gotten so at each other’s throats when it started off seeming so wholesome to me. I was really worried about a shift like this when it seemed like XD was more inspired to action by complaints about content creators than complaints about the game itself. I don’t really know what to say other than that I hope things turn around soon.

I think CCs should stick to covering the Game itself and not stir up Drama amongst the Community and especially amongst the CCs. I mean a CC tier list, really? That's a good way to get more people to stop covering the game. Those types of videos and opinions are unnecessary honestly! Your channel has been amazing along with the quality of videos! Also I think the AI movement has everyone spooked into thinking everything is AI. I listen to a Reddit Pod Cast and the guy on there had to address everyone saying his voice was Authentic and not AI as well! Keep up the good work and ignore the people fishing for drama

more time = more time to save for the unit you want, powercreep barely matters in this game at all.
Talking about future units is completely fine, you re talking about what is out in other server, its information based on that and people should know that when absorbing it. As long as it is disclaimed properly it shouldn't be an issue.
Too many first timers playing gacha in SoC. These are the same clowns thinking SoC is the best gacha and have already dropped the game at this point. A gacha that only has PvE is trash in today’s gacha environment. A good tactical gacha must have interactive game plays (I.e guild PvP).
Back to your point…people should never take “prediction” videos seriously because nothing is 100% until the company said so!

i wish i knew who was saying things so i can make sure i dont patronize their videos. i dont believe you use AI but sometimes it sounds like you are reading off a script. your delivery sounds less dry when you are just speaking your thoughts. as for Saffiyah im considering skipping her because i already have 2 seekers i use(Garcia and Nonowill) and am waiting for Homa.

I got her pretty fast. Though I'm like you, I do not spend money to get X Character. If I don't get it, "oh well bad luck". I move on and yeah hopefully will get it later randomly, while seeking someone else.
