So what happened to using WoT Viewer to show the armor layout, it would have made the first parts of the video much much more clear
The thing I like about these reviews is that you go so in-depth with the tank, explaining everything about it. The thing I hate about these videos is that YOU TAKE 20 MINUTES TO DO SO!
I just had an amusing dream that I thought people might want to hear about. I'm posting it here because, in the dream, I was watching a video in which Jingles was telling us about this tank, the T110E5.
The video started with a perfectly normal T110E5 replay. Then he decided to tell us about an alternate gun available for the T110E5; a quadruple machine gun. As I recall, Jingles' exact words in the video were "the original idea was that it works on the Pz I c, so why shouldn't it work here?" As expected, he then goes on to show a replay in which our T110E5 with quad MGs does absolutely no damage because it can't penetrate anyone.
I should probably clarify that; he does absolutely no damage with his guns. We get to the end of the battle. Our T110E5 is the last survivor on our team, against a large number of tanks (it was a dream, I don't know exactly how many). He backs himself up against a corner and waits. When one of them pops around the corner, he opens up and the entire enemy team starts cowering around the corner. At this point, Jingles is explaining that, since the quad MGs are so bad, no-one ever used them, and so people don't realise that it can't hurt them.
This is when it gets really absurd; our friend runs out of ammunition. So, what does he do next, you ask? Well, in real life, you'd probably either charge, and try to get in one last ram before you inevitably die, or try to make a run for it and hope for a draw, right? But this is a dream.
Our T110E5 starts bouncing up and down. He bounces towards the nearest enemy tank (a 110, I believe, not that it matters), and starts bouncing up and down on top of the tank, doing damage to it each time (somehow without damaging himself; I assume some form of magic suspension; it is a dream, after all). He moves on to the next target (a T-10) and does the same thing. Then, I caught a brief glimpse of what I assume would have been his next target (an ELC AMX riding on top of a TOG), before the dream ends.
This dream was just so hilarious and absurd that I felt like I needed to share it. Hope you enjoy the mad ravings of my subconscious mind.

Yeah? Welcome to the world of type 5 heavies and super conquerors then... the e5 needed that buff because everyone target it. Why complain? People just use gold ammo on type 5’s and SQ’s just do the same damn thing. It’s lucky they the PC version of the e5 still has that cupola. The Blitz version has been replace with an even smaller cupola than the m103 has.
10:10 I look at the front of the T110E5 and I see HYPNOTOAD!
Just got my T110E5 and shattered my previous record for damage. Absolutely LOVE it. It does play a lot like a big medium, but it does have frontal of a heavy so both play together and it does VERY well. Very glad this is my first tier ten.

Hi Jingles just a brief question about your ammo layout. I see you have no HE ammo loaded is this because it is ineffective with the 120mm gun or just because you are confident that the HEAT ammo will always go through? I just wondered because it might have been useful in that tense capping situation with the t69.

Yeah he wasn't as stupid as he looked. He didn't know who had the cap points so he shot at one, bounced, tried shooting Quicky for a better chance. If jingles noticed the is8 bounced off and put himself in the IS8's shoes, it makes him look a lot less stupid.
It had the is 3 gun though, not that easy to pen an e5 with that stuff... If you don't know the weakspots.
Right on Jingles! Great vid. I did a marathon for a month to get my first Tier 10 tank to earn the t-shirt and this was the one I went for because I loved the M6 and T29 and the T34 so much. Well worth the effort even thoough I agree with you that I don't have as much fun with t10 matches as the rest. Cheers!
Hi Jingles I had a look at this vid a few weeks ago and liked the look of this tank. I just got mine so watching it again as a how to play the T110E5 guide. Its speed and the gun make this one hell of a lethal tank, I use mine to hit the enemy from behind of in a flank when I am not in a platoon as I get my head handed to me a lot in a toe to toe fight especially when going up against IS-7s and other 'big' tire 10 tanks.

Is it worth it to get tier 10 US tanks? I just got to tier 8 and it seems to be that Germany/ USSR have pretty damn good TD's and Heavy's compared to what I've been using.
Yes they are because the Americans have a combination of mobility, fantastic frontal armor, and great gun because to its rof, damage, and penetration. The German heavies like e100 have bad pen, mobility, but great upper plates but their lower plates are very large and weak. The Russian tier 10s are really good as well. The is7 is fantastic but it's lower plate is also big and easily penetrated by all guns. Keep the American tanks moving because their lower plates are god awful but keep it moving and don't give them time to aim. Like all heavy tanks keep it hull down and use the rof to deal damage fast. If I had to choose though I would go Russians for armor but Americans for mobility and guns.
Yeah I guess so. I'm just disapointed after getting the T32 to find out it doesnt get a better gun than the T29. So far I dont like the T32, mainly because I still have the stock turret, hopefully it gets better.
Logan Crow Not really, no. It's not a bad tank by any stretch of the imagination, it's just so bland when you've already been basically grinding the same tank already (The T29). Hull down, it's difficult to dislodge, even for tier 10 guns, but you run into the problem you also find in the Black Prince. Your armor can be as good as it gets, but if your gun is bad, all it means is that you die slower. This tank, much like the T29 before it, needs to be hullldown to work, has at best a mediocre gun, and low mobility. That combination just makes it a dull tank to play.
its a jack of all trades but a master of none. in team plays you barely have a role. with this tank everything is average. you don't have any particular thing you excel at.
Keep going down the American line, the T110E5 is worth it.

It's amazing how the historical gun sounds makes WoT sound even better. I honestly think the gun sounds are better than War Thunder's.

How do you convert the world of tanks replays into a file that can be posted on youtube?
Whenever i try to post them straight from the replay folder all i get is a message saying that youtube cannot format the file.

The T110E5 also has a whopping 50 penetration more on its premium ammo than the IS-7, and serious clans use a lot of premium ammo (why wouldn't they? It's in the game, and they try to hold pieces of land which generate gold..). plus its a good climber - not great, but good compared to other tier 10 heavies. It's my favourite tier 10 heavy.

The IS-8 at 25:32 did shoot right under the turret but the sound was muffled by Quick's shot. If you look close you can see sparks coming off the hull. Not to mention you can see the dark grey did not pen arrow at the top of the screen when you here the mechanical clanking.

I listen to his garage commentary because I am a noob at the game need info on weak spots. So far I have a few memorized. Major ones like cupolas; sides of turrets, side armor of tanks are what I usually go for.

hehe the transition armor for that american tank help me remember where to shoot the deadly E3 and E4 TDS. Like shooting off its kneecaps. Helped a lot.

Hold on! The T110E5 biggest weakspot got buffed and now people are shouting 'overpowered'......have they seen the IS7 and IS4 turrets? I don't own a T110E5. but not once have I ever considered it overpowered. I think people should focus on improving their play rather than crying into their cornflakes after a tank that hasn't really changed.
I think why people dont say IS 4/7 overpowered is they incapable of hulldowning.T110E has that capability so its simply OP when hulldown just like T29,lol its even can bounce shot from tier 9s
Wg redesigned the E5 to be a bit more competitive, then people complained about it, so they nerf the cupola. Then introduced the super conqueror, with an even more ridiculous turret shape, spaced armor and smaller and stronger cupola and -10 degrees of gun depression aaaand a faster RoF compared to the e5, later on also introduced the wz-111-5 with better mobility, damage capability, stronger turret armor and in exchange just less than -1 degree of depression and .45 something less RoF than the e5. It’s like a bitch slap to those to those who complained that the e5 was OP while leaving the back to Useless e5 owners bitching about those cry babies, everything the e5 should have been... has just been implemented on other newer tanks further digging the e5’s grave.
Because hey, if WG can’t win nobody wins.
My question however is, why the hell is the T110E5 on Blitz version that ridiculously tall cupola been replaced with a cupola that looks as well angled and smaller like the Conqueror’s? Why can’t we have that in the PC version as well.
Jingles what do you think about the new shell mechanics in the .8.10, when you can shoot through objects and harm tanks on the other side with decreased penetration? does it make the structures in the base useless when people hide behind then when they are capping?

Hey bud I'm on M103 now I love the tank but I'm doing awful on it feels like when I face front a enemy they melt my armor any advice ?
So is it still a valid tactic to go hull down in this tank? I'm currently at the T32 and almost at the M103 so I would like to know if i need to change up my play style
Be more careful with your shots, Angle appropriately, brawl but do not be the first one because you will die. Hulldown tactics are a must but watch out for your Cupola.
I just reserched it and im getting 3,100,000 $ to get it.
But i got a question should i sell the M103 OR keep it and wait for like 5 weeks?!?!?

That's new to me, sounds like it MIGHT be the Type 59.
BohemianEagle i've just confirmed on the WOT NA site that it's the KV-220. it comes in one of three bundles and will probably cost insane amounts of money seeing how each bundle comes with ridiculous things like 10,000 gold, or a year of premium or two other tier 8 premiums. bit disappointed...

Jingles, the transmission is in the BACK of the tank, so what you called the transmission is actually the torsion bar suspension.
btw good review. i'm getting close to unlocking the t32 and i was hesitant about continuing down the line since i heard mixed reviews about the rest of the tanks, but it looks like the e5 is still more than capable of holding its own

Great vid, as always. Totally agree with you on the scout matchmaking - it desperately needs to be redone, as most of the time you are stuck trying to scout for tanks that have better view range than you do. Perhaps a suggestion on the WoT forums by The Mighty Jingles is called for?

Jingles, i am with you Bro with the tier X i prefer the IX. Do you have also the feeling that Maus lost his kind of meaning when WG started to sell premium ammo for silver? Coz now when i play my Maus, nearly everibody is loading prem ammo which is kind of logical. If i could i would remove prem amo or put it back for gold only.

absolute truth about the suspension,I smoked every IS-7 so far,on any kind of terrain,hill,downhill..was confused though

39:36 what are you going on about Jingles? I got my Ace Tankder Mastery badge in my M5 Stuart in a T8 game. Also, I also had the AMX 12 t, and I did fairly well in most of my T10 games. At least after I got used to the style of play in the 12 t.
Like that sound mod. I forgot to mention that the guy that made that mode, got couple sounds from Battlefield 3, even the reload on the 90mm gun
Dammit I should have played this line before going for American turreted TD line.

Oh and one thing jingles forgot to mention is right behind the front drive wheels ammo is stored there, so you'll find sometimes you'll get tracked and have your ammo rack damaged too yay!
About the tier IV's in tier VIII games. My friend had to struggle on the Pz 38t(nA) almost 200 games, because he got almost only tier VIII games with it.
