What an amazing person, the Dalai Lama is; how he can maintain his high spiritual stand and perspective of reality, despite all the darkness in the world. That is true spiritual power. And all power to University of San Diego for inviting him to be the Key Note Speaker and exposing these young students to such an amazing person. also happy 82nd birthday (July/06).

Love you his holiness dalai lama.
Corporate shill!
Actually us choose wrong person for Tibet card dalai can't do nothing because he himself criticise buddism and holy place for Buddhist NEPAL he is suitable for India for making anti Chinese sentiment.
I believe that Dalai Lama would never know that he is taken as a tutor, freedom fighter when he ruled Tibet while the cruelty is no less than ISIS although it was more than 60 years ago. All the Tibetans died at that time should come here and listen to his lecture. It is so ironical.
I literally cringed at Dalai Lama's speech. While I agree that English is not necessary to reach Buddhahood, now you are invited to make a commencement speech in front of thousands of graduates, at least you can let your assistants help you prepare your speech and make it sound fluent, and you can have a prompter or script at hand.
William T. Do you really expect a monk who came from a remote area in Tibet can speak another language fluently? He speaks from the heart and all the audience wants is just to hear his genuine words of wisdom. That’s what he was invited for.
We have no problem understanding him. It is perfect
Bruse dont be a ignorant brat, just understand the gravity of his holiness word of wisdom.
