I'm a 1/10 collector almost exclusively. I have a relatively small collection of maybe two dozen 1/10 statues from a mix of companies (Iron Studios, Kotobukiya, and DC Direct.) From my experience, Iron Studios is miles ahead not just in quality of sculpt and paint, but in character selection as well. I can count on Iron Studios to make the characters I want because they are licensing tons of quality IP. Unfortunately, the prices are creeping up as a result. The one saving grace is that they are really good about offering multiple price points for many of their pieces. For instance, a regular Thanos for $249 or a deluxe with a bigger base for $399. As long as they give us options, I will keep collecting.
That statue would be amazing if Batman face the same direction as Bruce. So as if Batman is Bruce’s guardian angel. That’s deep on so many levels. The studio missed the opportunity to make it actually great.
I already did some other comment about these 1/10s by IronStudios.. but damn it 😅 I am still kinda tempted by that Harley Q. statue. She looks like an awesome decorative piece. 🤩 I agree (with you / Chris) that it could look great on a desk or on a shelf.
For me the main issue with IronStudios 1/10s is often the size. Even if I did make some exceptions (exceptions in the way that I do have some 1/10 scale statues) I still wish they were at least 1/7 or 1/8th scale. If Diamond Select or Kotobukiya can bring these scales.. WHY NOT IronStudios too ? When you collect 1/10s it barely feels like you collect small statues. It feeIs rather like you coIIect tiny statues 🥴 Yes.. the base may sometimes help for a statue to look bigger but my main focus is always THE CHARACTER. The character is always more important for me (this is the main reason of why I buy a statue. Because I like or love that specific character).. and often that character seems tiny in the case of the 1/10 scale statues.
I agree. The 1/10s are getting pretty pricey. I for example kinda quit on getting them on the first pricing. If I can find some statues that I like at a lower price (dropping in time) I will buy some 1/10s but if the price stays UP I avoid getting. I aIready tend to be Iess of a fan on this pretty smaII scale ..being expensive helps me stay away from buying more / many.
Love the Batman but don’t love the price! However it is pretty big so I guess I understand the price I started with 1/10 and then I got my first 1:4 and never went back The allure of the 1:10 was the 150 dollar prices especially getting those for even less on sales. Considering you can find plenty of people selling 1:4 for around 400 online I don’t see the sales boosting for 1:10 at that price point
i really don’t like the Batman piece. if you have medium light it would be hard to see any details since it’s so dark. Maybe i’m wrong with the final piece. Also, if you only have walls you will never see the back side. Oh and the price 😱 Easy pass for me
I have been collecting the one tenth DC statues from IS, but I won't be getting this one. The price is absolutely ridiculous. I love it, I'd get it at 200, but not this. They might as well cancel the one tenth line, because that price will turn off the few of us who get one tenth. Too bad. I really love it. But not feeling like I want to be robbed.
Hey Chris!!The Batman is cool but the Harley...Not!!I collect 1 6th and 1 10th but if Iron studios keeps up with these prices I'm out!!Gotta fingure in exchange and shipping and they use FedEx and you get there charge also so not worth it!
That Batman piece is too big for my display so not for me. Cool concept. Appears he has red knuckles so like we just got back from battle. On the Harley I just am not a fan of the jester portraits. I prefer when they have more options of portraits. I do have the Gotham sirens Harley on pre-order. I agree if their prices go any higher I may be out going forward as they have been up to $300. Hopefully the raise in prices will go down or stop increasing ,not sure if them being an out of the US has any bearing on the price?
I do like this Batman statue. I agree with the others on here. The batman cowl should be facing the other way. I am getting the other Batman on throne so this one is probably a pass.

They can keep it for $300

100% agree. Would be much better
I tend to agree. Switch it to the Bruce's side.
These rising costs are gonna soon destroy the statue collecting community.
Could not agree more!!
I tapped out at 550, good riddance
Iron Studios 1:10 Snow White is going for $700. My first thought was that the hobby is going to destroy itself with these rising prices.
No way it can sustain that!!

To be honest.. I would take a simpler base as long as IronStudios will make the characters bigger (at least in 1/7 or 1/8th scale).

That Harley is an instant preorder, I do not care what anyone says THAT is a beautiful piece.

That batman is so dope! Iron studio really did it this time
It's a cool concept!!
$300 for that 1/10-Scale Harley is ridicilous
I like the Batman better than the Superkraft IMO. I like the dark imagery.
Awesome all around 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!!

$300 for 1/10TH SCALE? They're dreaming.
