Another solution, please try, it work on my photoshop. If your graphics processor is detected by NVIDIA or another graphic card, but still not working, maybe just need tick a box. My version: PS 2022 64bit 1. Open photoshop 2. Select EDIT 3. Select TECHNOLOGY PREVIEWS 4. Tick ✅️DEACTIVATE NATIVE CANVAS (Please read the description on this selection) 5. Restart your photoshop. done~
Nope, it doesn't work for me. Even better, there's no such option to switch mode in latest Photoshop version. I have latest drivers for RTX 3080 and I have tried to check/uncheck everything 5 times already. I was using this software for years and suddenly few weeks ago I have started facing this problem that just cripples my workflow. Only thing that helps me now is that every time that Photoshop decides to cancel scrubby zoom for me (which happens 95% times I start Photoshop) I need to reset all my settings, restart PS and it magically works, till I need to start it again next day and I again have to reset and recustomize the UI. Every. Single. Day.
@@V12DB7C4D turns out my problem is in the driver of external GPU which I use for display adapter, for some reason Photoshop uses it on startup and it's the only reason why it's happeningin my case.
All my GPU's and CPU's and Drivers for everything I have are UP TO DATE. My "use graphics processor" has always been checked, and the "Use Graphics processor to accelerate computation'" has always been checked as well. Still, Same problem as it is for most people who use this buggy software. I find it quite amusing though at how many people on "UA-cam" rehash and rob from each other the same exact "snake oil" solutions that have been peddled around and presented as "SOLVED" for over a decade now all in the name of views. And let's not forget how every single video dealing with these BUG RIDDLED half assed programs always end... With the exact same COPOUT solution.... "UPDATE YOUR DRIVERS". LOL!!!! P*iss off.
The zoom still stop working randomly while working. Even with 64GB of RAM and an RTX 4090. That's just a fucking long lasting bug. And configuring what you did, sure is the basics, but it won't help. Bug still happens.
