Holy crap Irene, you'll be working day and night to put all those together!! You'll be seeing them in your sleep. That's without carding and pricing them. Bless your heart, you'll get there I'm sure. Your mokume gane today is gorgeous, love the colours you chose. Thank you and have a beautiful day.
Those colors together turned out so rich!! I love how the pieces you made turned out, particularly with the UV resin. I could see why you liked the pearl in there, it did add a nice depth to the piece. Your bins look like my bins 🤣 I have so much stuff to put together and that’s not the fun part for me. Looks like you will be very busy for awhile. At least your shows are motivating to get it all put together. Best of luck with all the preparations. Thank you so much for taking the time to share with all of us, so fun to watch ❤️🧡💛
Yellow ochre is pronounced like oak-r. It's one of the oldest pigments around and originally it was gathered from the earth. Of course nowadays we make it synthetically. Can't help being a nerd about pigments, sorry. 😂 Love the Donuts you created.
I love the way all the components sound when you move them around in the box, yes I am a bit strange. I like the idea of putting components in a bag and selling them that way, some would have to match, or all that could be made would be pendants. Thanks for all the how to videos, I appreciate it and like watching you create. Hope your shows go well, you should tell us where they are, maybe some of us could show up and surprise you. 🙋♀🏄♀
Beautiful colors but we love fall, winter and spring, this heat blows. lol some crazy stuff. At least your project turned out nice and yes fall. But this hugs desert has been hot over this weekend but at least today(Monday) it’s cooled off. lol but still in the 100’s lol crazy hot weather. Tfs these yummy fall makes and hope you get ahead of the curve of what ya need for the fall shows. Hugs from AV
I love autumn! And the colors are amazing. I know I've seen you add gold to a skinner blend before and it really does warm up those colors. I have a rule (that I don't always apply) that I don't start something new until I finish putting all the findings on my jewelry. I say not always cause I have a pile of baked stuff made from two different projects on my desk now. 😂 Might be the amount of one of your smaller containers. LoL
It's the worst feeling to be so overwhelmed with unfinished pieces. I need to make jewelry as soon as it's done baking. That's my new rule. We'll see if I can keep up with that l o l
You need to do many layers of brite tone to get it to shine like resin but it will. Do 3-4 paper thin coats, 2 hours dry time between each coat, then lightly sand and repeat 2-3 times.
@@TheCreativeDork5 Yeah, it is! I used it a lot when I made tumblers and it was just way too time consuming. On tumblers you need like 30 layers to get a shine similar to epoxy. But, it's nice that it is safe to use around kids and pets and you don't have to wear PPE!
Hello Irene, I made my first makume game tonight thanks to this tutorial!!!!! As always THANKS for the guidance. There was a comment about a page “Me & the Mutts”. Have you started that? If so where can I find it? I also need to purchase a few things so I will be certain to use your link so you get the credit you deserve for the sale. Wish we could post pics on here, id love to w to show you how it came out. Traci Blackwell

Yeah, it'll be cooling down until the end of the week, and then we're going to heat up again, so get ready.
@@TheCreativeDork5 I’ve decided Alaska looks pretty dern good. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would love to see how you put things together. I’m not good at it and you are!

That's a good rule for yourself. Maybe if I adhered to that rule I'd get anything finished!
I’m Exactly The Same I Love The Making Process But Not So Much With Rest lol

Where are your shows in October and November?
In the high desert in southern california
Yes … feel free to make on line …. Sometimes it’s just nice to hear what’s happening in your world….. lol
Thank you. That's really sweet
Use plastic wrap and it won’t stick to your cutters
