Eddie asked for something I asked for as a kid but never got. I was at a family get together one time on Thanksgiving and they put in a DVD and on the DVD was all my family members from 1940s till 2007 that had passed on And occasionally some that didn’t pass and we just watched it together. That’s was the first and last time in my life (@
seven years old) I seen damn near a good portion of my mothers family tree from a certain time. Like pictures of my mother and my grandmother(s) that I never seen before…i knew that once that DvD left the house I wasn’t going to see those pictures any more ever because I was a child. it stills bothers me to this day. Haven’t seen any of those pictures to thisday now that I’m older. Nor do I remember most of my family members that was on it.😭 I’m glad I wasn’t the only kid that asked for that ❣️

I was laughing when you mentioned being in the front seat with a car seat. When I was younger, we didn’t have car seats, everybody just piled up in the car. Sometimes we had to sit on the lap of one of the cousins. We also thought it was cool to ride in the back of the pickup truck. Whew! I thank God for watching over and protecting us. 📷

I grew up there was no such thing as car seats and many cars didn’t even have seat belts. When I had my first 2 kids there were no car seat laws in any states and then my state was first to pass car seat laws (Florida) I believe. I remember people renting them with rental cars when they flew in as tourists in central Florida. We always had them for our kids, but I do remember using one in front seat for a year or two.

Hello, I want to know if those milk and juice containers are glass or plastic? I ask because glass is better(help prevent bpa)and walmart has the glass ones like that, but only in half a gallon

I know how you feel Kim, my mom put me in dresses too. And yes there was layers of clothes underneath the dress. I don’t wear dresses at all now. Only because I’m more comfortable wearing some sweat pants and a t shirt or pjs when I’m not working or going anywhere on the days off.
I was looking for the drink containers and I couldn’t find them, so I hopped on Amazon and I came across some heavy duty glass bottles and I bought the set of 4. 2 of them has milk in them and the other two has juice. (I know why you got the plastic ones, because kids can be clumsy at times) no broken glass in your home.
I love it: "I had girls. I didn't have boys who peed everywhere" 😂
