- Hello, hello! Happy SPRING everyone! It is officially here (despite the heavy snowfall in some parts of North America haha) I finally bring my beloved PORTUGUESE and BRAZILIAN fans (and EVERYONE who simply enjoys language related ASMR vids) a SPRING themed trigger words video in PORTUGUESE AND FRENCH.
French is going to be the newest edition to the "teaching you/learning a language" series (if it has been a series at all, lol). I've always wanted to be a polyglot so here's my attempt at learning French next. I hope you guys learn and relax to some of the whispers, finger flutters and hand movements in this ASMR video!

I hope you guys enjoy this one!! The editing for the texts took some time but I love the look of it all together! May I add that I am NOT A DEPENDABLE TEACHER OF FRENCH OR PORTUGUESE. At least not now. But I figured is one of the fews ways I can really push myself to get back on it! So I hope you guys don't mind my attempts. As mentioned in the video, feel free to make corrections! I may put a disclaimer next time in a portuguese or french (or maybe a third language :3 video)
Until then, I hope everyone enjoys this and i promise my portuguese loves from all over the world, when I gain more confidence I'll be speaking AND writing in portuguese in my ASMR videos.

Hi! I really like your video ! In french we usually add a S (unprononced) at the end of the word to put it in plurial for example flowers is french is fleurs but it’s the same prononciation as fleur because we don’t prononce the S 😉

My grandparents can speak both versions of Portuguese very well. They lived in Rio, Brazil for a while then moved to Cabo Verde. It such a relaxing language! 💜💜

THANK YOU!! I got the glitter from the craft store "Michael's". A bottle of the "small grained" glitter and a bottle of the "large grained" glitter. And tbh, I'm not sure where I got this choker from LOL. Like, it just showed up in my jewelry case, I swear. it's like a fairy dropped it in there for me xD

P.S. In Portugall we use poça as "oh man!",like you exemplified yourself, and as puddle
The writing is the same but the pronunciation is diferent. For poça(puddle) you accentuate the sound of the O, reading it like póça. For poça(discontent) no letter is accentuated so the sound is a bit longer and not as noticeable,reading it the same way it's written. I hope I was able to explain it well enough.

It's "poxa" in Brazil, not in Portugal. You said it correctly. Some older people still say "poça" [pôça - like you said] when they are surprised, for instance. But if you want to say puddle, the word is the same, "poça", but it sounds [póça]. It's the same word with different pronounciations, depending oh the context. 😉

I love this so much! My two favorite languages :) Btw, the pronounciation of "Flores" in Brazil depends on the region. In Rio and some North states the plural is identical as in the Portuguese accent.

There are lots of acents in Brazil, but talking about an brazilian general acent, when you compare the diferences and similarities , I could say that is almost the samething when you compare UK , American (U.S and Canada) and Australian englishe languajes. The diference is because in Brazil (Tu Você) are the samething, but in Portugal , Tu is informal and Você is formal.

So, the puddle thing you spoke about in brazilian PT. When you say "gee" it's actually "poXa" with an X. The sound is different than "poça" (puddle). It sounds like chá (tea).
