So a lot of reactors actually disliked how the song ends abruptly like that but in context, it's a genius move on Lorna shores part. It's purpose is to convey the sudden end that is death, the song is amazing and you see in the video that the guys marriage is too and that feeling of wtf you get when a good thing just ends suddenly really hits. You feel what the guy in the video feels. It makes you feel incomplete.
The guitar solo always brings me to tears, and you’re lucky because you get to just jump to the next video. Where when it originally came out we had to wait weeks in between songs lol
The way the song ends right when you are getting into it is a metaphor for death. You don't want life to end you want to just keep going but you can't it's over
The part that always gets me about that video is the ring on her finger. You catch shots of her hand in the flashbacks, then when you see it dangling loose later on just hits so hard. Anyone whose had to watch someone just waste away I cannot imagine the pain of that.
A small tip for Lorna Shore's videos they have the lyrics in the description if you don't already know this. Most if not all Deathmetal videos will have the lyrics in the description if you react to them and want to know what they're saying. The last part of this song gets me every time, this and the last one made me tear up a little.
First time watching this channel and at 9:22 I'm like, awwww... what a sweet person. Then her little fur-baby gave her a kiss and I completely melted. HOW CUTE IS HE?!?!?! And of course, what an amazing song & video. LS totally raised the bar with this one. I don't see a "deathcore ballad" topping this regardless who tries. Fun reactor.
That's actually true about metalheads being chill because they let it out through music. I read about a study a while back which said that people who listen to extreme music are more used to dealing with the sort of emotions expressed in such songs and so are less likely to explode (emotionally I mean, not literally).
this was 100% the reaction it deserved... you gotta do a video of all 3 at once all the way through, even though its 3 different songs its really 1 long song with a million different emotions... Ive listened to it daily for the last 2 months in the car and Im not nearly sick of hearing it, deathcore isnt really my thing but this is just something else.
I appreciate your genuine reaction, this is exactly the content I search for when it comes to reactuon videos. I don't need people to pretend to like Lorna Shore, I just want to see how they truly feel about their music.
Oh my, I feel you, swallowing all that rage is unhealthy. These kind of bands and songs are a wonderful way to let it all out, rage with the lyrics and you will find peace
Maaaan lemme tell you, this is exactly what folks like me in the metal community are looking for in reaction videos; folks with virtually no deep background in the scene giving something out of their comfort zone an HONEST chance even if they decide its not totally their thing. Thank you. Fair warning though, friendo, you're DEEP in the feels and tears with this trilogy. It's been said a bit already, but as interested and invested as you are in this, please do yourself the huge favor of having the lyrics on hand as you listen. It's hard to hear, for obvious reasons, but these guys are insanely intelligent and poetic in their writing. Idk anyone else in ANY genre that successfully references an Eidolon from Greek mythology. Kickass, emotionally hitting reaction, mah friend. Liked and subbed. Look forward to seeing more of your experience.
While rock was heavily inspired by blues, metal is heavily inspired by classical. Hence why it sounds dramatic and "big", Lorna Shore do the "wall of sound" really well.. Once you get a taste of metal you're always curious for more, the genre is so vast that bands will meld its sound with any other genre and it works.
the pain remains trilogy is incredible and the album itself is just as incredible, on the youtube version the music of the trilogy is abruptly stopped but in the album the trilogy is only one is even long pieces of 20 minutes than one crazy power what is interesting is the artistic choice between the UA-cam cuts which remind us how quickly life can stop while leaving a part of emptiness and the album version which is a long story, moreover 'pain remain album is a consistent album which tells the story of a man but I'm not going to say more I don't want to sploil I recommend other music from this album after this trilogy sun//eater and welcome back o sleeping dreamer
Hey loving these reactions my Lorna shore recommendations are To the abyss (this is my top song for them) Sun//eater ...and I return to nothingness Cursed to die I've seen your other videos with Slipknot and you should really look up snuff this is one of the most vulnerable songs that Corey Taylor the singer has ever wrote. I don't wanna give to much out but at the time of writing this it was one of the hardest moments in his life and he conveys it all in here.
I watch videos and movies like this to learn how to express sorrow when someone dies. I'm emotionally bankrupt, and I have to learn how to act when others are watching, and not seem uncaring when people lose loved ones. I'm kinda unaffected by death and loss. I'm learning to pretend though....
To the Hellfire I think is supposed to sound evil and scary. Pain remains is more emotional, it still has extreme vocals and a darkness to it, but it isn't intimidating, it sounds frustrated and desperate.
hi there :) normally, i ask for Lorna Shore reactions to people reacting to Nightwish ;) in this case it is the opposite, do you know the band Nightwish ? and if not, are you going to do it ? if yes -> Ghost Love Score, live Wacken 2013 (and please ONLY this version for a start) :) they are a symphonic metal band from finland but for now i am hyped for the rest of your Lorna journey, so i am subbed already :) greetings from Germany
First time seeing the white youtube button, its cute ahahah….. idk i have heard the song multiple times, watched so many reactions but feels good to see the reaction videos to these songs, do i hv a problem or something?? 🫨🫨

The guitar solo always brings me to tears, and you’re lucky because you get to just jump to the next video. Where when it originally came out we had to wait weeks in between songs lol

When he says "where do you go when I close my eyes" gets me every time.

I love your youtube award. Congratulations 🎉 😂🎉
6:08 did y'all see that? She's converting!
How could they stop it right there? Because that’s how death is. If you think about it like that, it’s beautiful.
