I actually prefer the original motions of Crypto, he feels more chaotic and demented in the 2005 game.
But the gameplay of the remake is kinda better. I dislike stealth mode in the new game, but holy hell if skating and pk aren't insane.

They've certainly done a good job breathing new life into this old cult classic, but it is a shame that they completely changed the tone. In the original the saturation is lower, the cutscenes/levels are darker, and the humans don't look like they jumped straight out a political comic. In comparison, the new one almost looks like it was made by the same team who created fortnite. Crypto himself, while a little rough around the edges, was also much more sporadic and generally unhinged. 2020 crypto feels as if he's been sedated with much slower thought-out movements and less facial expression. I hope that someday someone decides to mod the remake and bring back the more sinistar tone of the original.

I never played the originals so I wanted to see how the faithful the remakes were.
In my opinion, especially with the dialogue. The character redesigns fit perfectly.
I also notice how crypto is much more dramatic in the originals in animations which would’ve been nice to include some of his original movement but overall I think Destroy all humans remake is pretty good

I don't like the new design that much, but I'm glad they remade the game! I want to play it for old time's sake.

The original animations are a lot more expressive, really strange that the new ones are very mute and stiff. Goes to show that sexy graphics aren't everything. The original had a sinister feel to it despite the cheesiness. Particularly when Crypto is interrogating the Majestic agent. Also, certain lines and sound effects being added when they didn't need to make it feel overproduced. Oh, well. I'll never touch this and the 2nd remake. I'm only interested in a continuation or remake of the 3rd and 4th game.

Agreed. It doesn't have that 1950's media parody feel anymore. I'm assuming the reason they did new voice acting for the general's boss fight was that he was hard to understand in the original, but Robo-Prez is just ridiculous.

Its not bad tbh both games are amazing origional and remake evem what they changed and animated more did really well enough to where the remasterd game is as good as the original and same for the original thats my opinion now the second game the remake is obvously better because of it being made on the newest engine and everything and no bugs like the original game had where some times you wouldn't unlock weapons and sometimes the ai woild bug out bad and stuff so the remake of #2 is better than the original #2

I prefer the remake but the sonic boom isn't as good. The death ray no longer disintegrates enemies. Just leave bodies behind. The good news is that environmental destruction looks better. You can burn the ground and set trees on fire.
