Welcome back to my channel! Hope you are all keeping safe! Today I decided to create a little chatty video about my buzzcut story and how, over the last year I have grown it out without it looking horrendous! It is something I often have been asked and now its all here in one video!

And I AM that old woman at 50 with my first buzz cut which I did myself a few hours ago - and so far, I love it!

I'm 49 and I just buzzed mine.....4 on the sides and back and 6 on the top front. I am madly in LOVE with it and I don't care what anyone else thinks.
short hair is definitely your thing! you're so adorable ! I've had my hair buzzed for about a year and a half now, and I've been slowly but surely growing it out and everything she says ab buzzcuts in this video are SO TRUE!

Im 65, buzzed my hair 2wks. ago, trying to grow out my natural white. I have not been brave like you, I wear alot of hats. Lol You have given me hope that my hair will grow back. Thank You! You would look great with any hair cut!

I lost my hair due to my head being shaved for emergency brain surgery and it was really Trumatic. I wish I could’ve had that freeing experience you described but even if I never have that Experience, the video was very encouraging and I thank you for it
I’m proud of you for getting through such a traumatic and difficult moment in your life. Everyone’s experience is different and it is something that I needed to do to free myself from society. Not everyone’s experience is the same. I’m sorry it wasn’t that way for you. But I hope you have found happiness with your hair now! ♥️♥️♥️

I just got my first buzz cut 2 weeks ago and I feel fantastic! I passed the number 1 all throughout my head and it’s already growing out really fast. I’m considering bleaching it and start experimenting with different colors because why not 😁 Thank you for this video! Getting this buzz cut truly is a freeing experience ❤

what a fun video!! i just buzzed mine (#3) a week ago and ordered manic panic lightning blue to do soon, but i'm scared i'll either burn my scalp or turn my hair yellp/orange. aghhhh but as you said, if it goes wrong, you can just buzz it again and try something new! curious what colors you used, all of your bleaches were nice blonde/white!

I buzzed cut my hair as well and I regret it now .So much judgment from people when a woman has a shaved head .I did it off an emotional impulse and so scared of it growing out now because of the awkward stages!I wish I had ur confidence.
You be strong. And don’t let anyone be successful at judging you. You are still who you are.... you are not your hair. Let others live scared and afraid and judgmental, and you just play and enjoy.
What smoothing product do you use? and what molding products do you use as it grows longer?
I mainly used water and gel to style it flat :) x

Did you just keep the back trimmed and let every thing else grow? I'm growing out a one inch hair shave dye to horrible damage by going blonde thanks to a hair salon. I have no idea how to grow it out :(
Yeah that’s exactly what I did!
I've buzzed my hair twice in 4 years. Don't do it because you think it's going to be some cathartic empowering experience because it won't be. You'll still be the same person, but without hair. Also don't look at these pictures and think your going to look like some beautiful androgynous model because you won't unless you absolutely layer that makeup.
