We have an unusually high number of leaders in our squad: 5 national team captains: Szobozlai, Van Dijk, Endo, Salah and Robbo. Then other huge personalities and leaders like Trent, Allisson, Matip and now Konate emerging. Klopp has done wonders in this window. From having a weak midfield of an average age of 30+, moving literally 5 CMs on and replacing them with what we have now, it's immense. What fills me up with joy is how players who can easily start anywhere else in the league and are seemingly on the fringes at Liverpool, play with so much heart and passion; Gomes is such an unsung hero, Matip always does the job. People need to get behind Nunez a lot more and show him more respect. Both Salah and Diaz were also wasteful in this game but the focus seems to be only on him. Give the lad a break. There is no doubt that he puts his heart out there every minute he plays. His contributions to the 3rd and 4th goals were very important (cushioned header down to Salah and keeping the ball alive after the rebound from Gakpo's strike) and we need to give him credit for that.
