With every video, I learn a bit more and am able to refine my style; what I like and what I don’t. You are my personal style Yoda!! Thank you, I do… 😉😘
HIHI!!! Thank you so much! this is the best comment! absolutely a great honour this is 👻 But honestly though, I’m so happy my content helps you curate your personal style 🥳
Hi Mariola, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the wonderful styling videos. You are the most realistic and inspirational woman I know. I don’t think there is anything you’ve worn that I don’t like. I really do feel overwhelmed with my wardrobe sometimes. I love clothes and I do end up getting stuck when i try to put outfits together. Please don’t ever stop doing these videos. I would love to see you do a “what I wear in a week”. You’re a gem 💎 thank you 😊
one of her skills is that she has taken TIME to try things out and gain clarity on what she loves and what works and doesn’t work. Time in our closet is key!
It’s so clear you really worked a long time to develop your style and it really shows. it’s very inspirational ❤ Some of the best content on style i’ve seen on youtube 🎉
So many good suggestions! Thank you 🙂 While watching, I made a detailed list of new outfit ideas, all using items I already own. Some don’t get enough wear in the colder months, but they will now.
I wish I could have an entire wardrobe makeover and have you set me up, as my stylist. Your channel is the next best thing though. Your style is amazing. I love everything about it. Thank you for inspiring me on this chilly alaska morning. Xo
aaaaw! that’s so sweet of you! and I’m really flattered😅 I’m here to help if you need any support in curating your wardrobe. Wooow Alaska, that sounds magical! I was just watching a comedy the other day (for the 50th time😂) with Sandra Bullock that was set in Sitka. Beautiful!
I wear only natural materials, at least on my torso. I do have a few polyester pleated skirts and trousers that I like, but I usually wear a breathable, natural fiber, underlayer to prevent contact with my plastic-allergic skin, like a silk slip or long-john pants. Breathable, natural fibers on the torso are essential once hot flashes begin, but I never liked sweaty synthetic fabrics long before then. My favorite winter combination is a silk jersey layer under a cashmere sweater and pants or skirt. Then, a 100% wool or cashmere coat lined with silk, if that’s not available, rayon, a cellulosic fabric, is a breathable alternative. That’s why I’ve bought so many blazers and coats at Banana Republic and Theory this last year - the quality fabrics, style and construction. I’m so happy that some other brands, like Mango, are finally listening at last and using breathable linings, instead of polyester (at least sometimes). I never thought I would order from Mango, but the rayon-lined blazer I just ordered convinced me to try it. It makes all the difference; cold is one thing, but cold and sweaty is ten times worse!
I'm always inspired by your style. The grey blazer and pants with the beige sweater is a combination that I have not tried. I'm going to wear my version of that tomorrow! The climate where I live is cooler, but not really that cold. Many days in the winter find me headed out the door in the morning and not needing a coat at all, but definitely dressed with layers to emphasize the winter look, so I appreciate you creating looks that don't need a coat to feel complete. Thanks for all you do! Love your channel!
Hello and thank you so much for all your sweet words and your support. That means so much to me as a creator. I’m really happy you found some inspiration for your own wardrobe. Please let me know how it turned out😊🫶
Mariola, your videos contain so many ideas and such detail - I need to watch them over a number of times! Thank you for putting in such effort to give us quality information.❤
you’re very welcome and I’m so happy you’ve noticed how much effort I put into my videos. But It’s an absolute pleasure for me and I enjoy educating myself when I prepare for each video🤩😘
Your videos are brilliant and instructive. You prove that minimalist style can be impactful. I prefer your minimalist styling but can see how it can be easily transformed into maximalist style with big, bright or bold accessories. Thank you for your time and willingness to share your expertise.
I love your style, all of it. The neutral palette and easy way you layer high quality pieces. the effortless way you wear all the basics is wonderful. However I am 5' 3" and the volume would just drown me even with the lightweight fabrics. can you please make a video for petites? thank you
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and your support for my work. This is a very interesting suggestion. Although I’m not petite myself I can understand the challenges you have to face every day in styling your clothes. I’m looking into it and hopefully I can make a video that will help you😘
I rarely wear white on its own as it washes me out. Ditto for most of the lighter neutral shades so my preference is to stick with dark and bright colours. I love colour contrast - blue with green, blue with yellow, purple with yellow. Wearing bright colours, contrasting colours and different textures adds lots of interest to your outfits. I also like patterned sil scarves, although this sometimes breaks the three colour rule.
Thank you so much for your comment. No, mine is from Arket and it’s just grey with no pattern on it. But I think I remember yours and they are very similar in style😊
Wonderful to see you again. I hope you had a lovely holiday season. I really admire your style. I too prefer classic styles with mostly neutral hues. Using a jumper for a scarf is such a novel idea. Thanks for your inspiration.
Hi Diane. Thank you so much for your sweet words. It seems like ages ago, but our holiday was lovely. I’m really happy that you enjoy my content and like my jumper trick (which I’ve been using a lot lately) 😘🫶
Unspecified “wool” and even cashmere can be very itchy. I had to order a men’s (higher-neckline) silk jersey top to wear underwear some “wool” sweaters I otherwise love. Women’s silk undie tops usually have a low scoop or V-neckline, and they itched like mad above that. Sometimes a silk scarf works, but it doesn’t work with all. I agree, cashmere and Merino are by far the softest. There are many types and grades of wool, if the brand doesn’t specify, it will be warm, but not necessarily soft. I’m going to resell three cashmere cardigans I got from Talbots last autumn because they’re such a low-grade cashmere that I can’t even wear them over other tops, they itch and scratch right through. That taught me to put in some research to find out what grade of fiber is used next time! All of the woolie fibers have quantitative quality grading systems, if the brand can’t specify the grade used, I’ll move on.
Doceniam Pani kanał, nie mogę się jednak oprzeć aby powiedzieć, że Pani typ urody krzyczy, trochę koloru! Czerń jest za ciężka. Poza tym, wspaniały materiał, jak zawsze:)
I wear more silk than any other fiber, its comfort is so superior to any other, especially for us with hypersensitive skin. It also stays super-clean and odor-free, and rarely needs washing, ironing or steaming (I always do one initial ironing to get the packing wrinkles out, silk can sit, tightly folded) in hot and humid Chinese warehouses for months). I don’t find it difficult to care for, I just wash it in my machine’s “Hand-Wash” cycle in cool to warm water, then hang dry or flat (for knits). It does have a high affinity for stains, though, and they can’t be treated as aggressively on the protein fibers (silk and woolies) as on plant or synthetic fiber fabrics. My lifestyle doesn’t involve any activites that would make it impractical, I don’t even cook, clean, garden or have children or pets (at the moment). But, I understand that it doesn’t work for everyone’s lifestyle. Still, it always makes by far the best, most comfy underlayers. It’s so much easier to toss a silk jersey tee in the washer than to hand-wash a cashmere or wool sweater because one perspired while wearing it. Another downside to silk, as with fabrics made of most other fibers, is its tendency to fray, in it woven forms, especially. So, all seams should be French seams, or double-finished, to prevent it. Serged-only seams finishes aren’t adequate, really. Plus, when paying extra for such a great fabric, the construction quality should match it, or what’s the point?
With every video, I learn a bit more and am able to refine my style; what I like and what I don’t. You are my personal style Yoda!! Thank you, I do… 😉😘

Excellent advice and content. I enjoy lovely quality and choose it over quantity these days. Thank you ❤
Thank you so much for your comment. It is a process, or at least it was for me, to move from fast fashion to quality and less is more mentality 😊🫶

Thank you so much for your comment. The shirt I’m wearing has a stand up or mandarin collar😊
