You guys still up for it? We can figure something out. Im kind of new to being an all time low fan. I have always known about them and some of there songs byt never really listened to them but now im kind of starting to be a big fan i love their music and this kind of friendship the fans seem to have. Like a family. So you guys still interested?
this video has me in tears. it might be dumb, but to me it's meaningful. to me, this song is saying that there are people like us out there, we are the kids in the dark, we feel alone, but when we're together, we're unstoppable. we help each other. we're here for eachother. either that or I'm just super emotional
I remember listening to this freshman year and just crying. Now I’m 20 and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. So for anyone who needs to hear this; I’m proud of you. You’re strong with a beautiful soul and a kind heart made of gold.
"What a shame!" "What a shame!" Beautiful scars on critical veins. We come together, state of the art, we'll never surrender, the kids in the dark. This song is kind of entirely the reason why I'm still alive at this point.
Lyrics: Here we are, at the end of the road a road that's quietly caving in, Come too far to pretend that we don't -- we don't miss where we started, Looking back, I see a setting sun, and watch my shadow fade into the floor, I am left standing on the edge wondering how we got this far, (how we got this far…) They left us alone, the Kids In The Dark, to burn out forever, or light up a spark, We come together, state of the art, We'll never surrender, the kids in the dark, So let the world sing, "What a shame, what a shame, beautiful scars, on critical veins," Come together, state of the art, We'll never surrender, the Kids in the dark, the kids in the dark... Here we are at the top of the hill -- a hill that's quietly crumbling, Been a while since you dressed for the kill-- the kill that sent me tumbling, Looking up, I see a falling star, and watch its fire burn into the floor, I am left standing on the edge, wondering why we fall so hard, They left us alone, the Kids In The Dark, to burn out forever, or light up a spark, We come together, state of the art, We'll never surrender, the kids in the dark, So let the world sing, "What a shame, what a shame, beautiful scars, on critical veins," Come together, state of the art, We'll never surrender, the Kids in the dark, the kids in the dark... They left us alone, the Kids In The Dark, to burn out forever, or light up a spark, We come together, state of the art, We'll never surrender, the kids in the dark, So let the world sing, "What a shame, what a shame, beautiful scars, on critical veins," Come together, state of the art, We'll never surrender, the Kids in the dark, the kids in the dark...
I love it. All time low are my fave band. This song is amazing. Come to the Caribbean there are lots of fans here who can't come up to see them. Please
I sometimes feel that All Time Low bought ten thousand hours of studio time in 2008, recorded about five hundred songs and have been randomly picking songs to make into albums. In reality, they haven't stepped into a studio in seven years.
I haven't cut in 5 months thanks to music, therapy, and my 3 younger siblings. It is hard AF to not cut. Thank you for reading this and don't cut or kill yourself. People do care. We are all kids in the dark
Stay strong, man ♡ hopefully youve gotten over what made you want to cut in the first place, and youre doing better after hopefully 10 months of no cutting.
Generation Zero Agreed, the album itself wasn't necessarily bad, I mean I could see why people liked it, but compared to their other stuff it really just sucked.
"Beautiful scars on critical veins" That line to me is the most powerful. It speaks to so many people and is such a hard factor that needs to be spread around and shared more awareness for. This song has probably helped a lot of people as this song is not just a regular popular song, it has a strong message behind it.
+Moustache Guy You barely don't know how it feels when you parent left you bc they can't deal with themselfs and than you sit their on your own feeling empty and staring to your wall hoping for some help cause you're too young to help yourself
"They left us alone the kinds in the dark to burn out forever or light up a spark we come together state of the art we'll never surrender the kids in the dark So let the world sing what a shame what a shame beautiful scars on critical veins" This song saved my life. My father would call my scars ugly and abuse me for who I am. This song helped me through all of it. It gave me the courage to become self harm free. Its currently January 3, 2018 and in 5 months I'll be 1 year self harm clean. Thank you so much you keep doing what you do because your music always makes me feel better no matter what
My sister loved All Time low and many other rock bands. She had them all on her ipod. Now after years of hearing them I'm finding them all on youtube and they hit different. Remembering where I was at back then and how far I've come
I used to listen to these guys in high school. Hell, the party scene was practically my freshman years' anthem. I hadn't listened to them in such a long time, but a friend shared this in Facebook and I just had to watch it. Listening to it immediately brought tears to my eyes. I don't know what it is about these four boys from Baltimore, but they'll always hold a special place in my heart.
This reminds me of a Tumblr post that said something along the lines of "All Time Low is one of those bands that, even if you stop listening to them, they stay in your heart forever." Mind you, as someone who's kind of a little bit obsessed (I have a tattoo of their lyrics), I don't understand why anyone would stop listening to them but hey, to each their own. People must have their reasons, I guess. Anyway, they've come a long way since you were listening to them and I'm so proud of them. Sold out Wembley Arena in, like, under 2 weeks. :) I love these idiots.
***** I have been a fan of All Time Low since 2007 when I was a freshman in high school. They have always in my top 3 artists at any given time (frequently at #1), but I go through different phases of what genre I like at any given time. It's always changing and going back and forth for me, from country to pop to hard rock to punk rock to hip-hop, etc. I listen to so many different genres. However, I can always listen to All Time Low. There may be times when I don't listen to them for a few months, even a year at point or two, but they will always be one of my favorites. There is no other band I can say this about. It's been 8 years and while they may not always be the band at the top of my list they will always be on my list.
lleasure29 That's awesome. :) I've been a fan for nearly 3 years and for me, personally, they've been #1 ever since I first listened to them really. But that's just me. I kind of fell into the best downward spiral ever haha. They literally have the most dedicated fans ever imo. Most of us stick around and that's awesome. I'll never stop supporting them. I can say that wholeheartedly as they've done so much for me and their music is always so great. I'm so grateful for this band.
***** They do have awesome fans, of course with the exception of a couple that need to learn some boundaries (every band seems to have 2 or 3 with boundary problems). Not many bands make it to 6 albums and I hope they make 6 more after this.
I can't help but think how many lives they saved with this... Whoever reads this, you're not alone, all the pop punk kids are with you, and we love you ❤
This got me through so much. Going through the struggles that I do as an older person, it’s songs like this that I remember the kids in the dark, and that I’m not alone through what I go through, because everyone hurts. You come here to cry, but you’re not alone in your pain
I didn't have a shitty childhood or anything but a few months ago I had to move across the country and start my life from scratch, this song made me feel less terrible
What if this happened at an actual All Time Low concert. Wouldn't that be the bet thing. Partying with other kids in the dark, and returning home with glow in the dark gooey rainbow goo and glitter.
Somewhere in Neverland was this x100 for me. This song is like a Transformers movie: always good but always the same. As much as people hated it, I'd like to see them change up their sound like they did in Dirty Work.
This was me for 5 years. My parents were too busy fighting instead of taking care of me. But on top of that my mother blamed me for their problems. That crumbled my confidence. And because she tells me this every other day I’ve been depressed for 3 years. My parents got divorced and my father met someone that Soo nice. She had a daughter named Haley . She’s the best sister I could have ever asked for. She’s helped me through the dark times in order for me to get my s**t together. But it turned out that she had just as many problems as me so together we helped each other out life hasn’t been the same since she’s help me out tremendously
This reminds me of my little brother. My parents were kinda supportive of my older brother and not very supportive of me and my little brother had to do almost everything on his own. They never noticed how he would hit himself in the face. I asked him about it and he said "well... I've been thinking about some things that are sad." He's five(I don't know where he learned that but I didn't hurt myself till I was 11 and even then I covered it up and never let anyone know, especially not him). So I did a puzzle with him and let him watch youtube because I know those things make him happy and while we did said puzzle I played this song and he loved it, he hits himself in the face less and whenever we play music he always asks for this song.
To ATL, Thank you so much for your hard work and inspiration. This song got me through some of my hardest times. I didn't think I would love to see 16 and am now 22 in my final year of university studying business management. I plan to keep living through your messages and one day be able to say that I have survived. Please keep creating music for the generation after mine to save them also like you saved my life
This song makes so much more sense now. At their concert I didn't feel alone anymore. I felt surrounded by people who love the same things. We all supported each other and it felt like one massive family. I don't get that feeling anywhere else than being in the crowd with these amazing people.
This song used to be my go to for depression i always tried to find a way out of being downsized by my parents who were constantly arguing until my boyfriend rescued me..... and now I'm 21 weeks pregnant been with him practically a year my due date is feb 25
THIS WAS THE FIRST BAND I LISTENED TO AND THEN I FELL HARD. SERIOUSLY. I WAS A NORMAL BORING CHILD AND NOW IM OBSESSED WITH BANDS AND DANK MEMES AND FANDOMS AND OFHER SHIT THTAD TAKING OVER NY LIFE SOMEBODY HELP ME
It happened to me but with tøp, p!atd and fob, now I'm awesome and made a shitton of friends because of the music i like, also I'm a UA-cam addict.....
It's been 5 years. Whenever I have a rough day, I blast this song, and for some reason, it gives me this strong feeling of hope and makes me smile. I don't know why it feels so powerful
"Looking up, I see a falling star, and watch its fire burn into the floor, I am left standing on the edge, wondering why we fall so hard," hit good ngl
This was the first ATL song I ever heard. Since then, they've become my favorite band and their songs have literally saved my life multiple times. Thank you guys for being so amazing and making music for us kids in the dark :)
This is my first All Time Low song that I've heard. Two things 1: how have I never heard them before?! They're awesome. 2: i need to do that whole glowy splatter paint thing.
This song is my anthem. Any time I'm depressed or anxious or suicidal or anything, I listen to this song and it has gotten me through so much. I love you guys so much 💖💖💖
Binge listening&watching all ATL albums since their new release. Who's there since the beginning? I am & I don't think I'll ever leave. Thank you All Time Low. 🖤
When this song came out, I was depressed af, I even tried to kill ms a few times. I was 15, I was a kid and I felt so alone, specially because in my country this music was only for freaks, and everyone treated me like that. This song helped me so much in that time, because I realized that I wasn't alone, I was only in the dark. Now looking back, I can perfectly see my young me listening this song, working alone in the library of school, and... she is happy, she's not as sad as she think she is, and that makes me happy, cause now I know that I choose the right music, now I'm not in the dark anymore.
Well now I wanna join :( I'm new to ATL, I looked into them because I'm going through tough times right now. One of my other friends listen to them and love them.
I wouldn't really say it's a lot "heavier", because Alex doesn't scream, but Kellin does. I do get your point though, and go go go is kinda more pop-ish, but when it comes to Fly, I think it was meant to be kind of a "calm" song :) Love both of these bands!
When I saw this song played live front row, was the best moment I've ever had. I love this song, any song me and my friends can relate to. Thank you so much.❤️ fellow hustlers feel the same way!❤️❤️
To anyone who might read this, So my name's Thien, and while we might not know each other, that doesn't exactly matter because I just wanted to let you know you're truly beautiful, amazing and incredibly loved! Have a lovely day and don't forget to sm:)e!
Omg can I just say that this is one of the nicest comments I've seen on UA-cam I don't know you but I love you for posting this to everyone I try to help people as well oml just thanks for being a awesome person ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dirty Work grew on me over time but it's still my least favorite. I DESPISED it when it came out. And I don't despise anything from ATL. I have them tatted on me. I CAN'T despise anything from ATL. But Dirty Work, man. But I liked Stick, and Stones, and Techno! Lmao.
Was starting to think after my last ATL gig I was getting too old for 'em (21)....now going to order my ticket to their next gig. They've done it again, well played ATL, well played
i got fucking choked up. im gonna tell you something, this song has got me to NOT commit suicide. ALL TIME FUCKING LOW saves my life all the time. i know i swear a lot, but these guys are my heroes. i want to meet them so bad. it's my dream. i would honestly give anything to even be able to see them in concert. i have been a die hard fan for a few years and i love them. i went through 5 mental hospitalizations, all of my high school experience where i was called the "suicidal slut" years of bulima, and bipolar disorders. All Time Low's music got me through it. if i got to meet them, i would just want to say thank you and have a hug from them. Those boys mean more to me than anything, and Kids In The Dark is my theme song as i go into college, and getting my gallbladder out. i have been almost 1 year of cutting free on May 21st and All Time Low helped me get through it. i just wanted to say thank you, Hopeless Records for producing them and allowing them to make music that speaks to me. and of course, thank you to All Time Low for making songs like this. i dont know if this will be read but i wanted to write it in case it would be.
I love you. I just do. You're amazing and don't let anyone tell you differently. You're story is inspiring and wonderful. And you are beautiful. beautiful. Love you
I heard this song in Hot Topic and I was like "OMG I NEED TO KNOW WHO THIS IS BAND WHAT SONG IT IS!" I finally found it and I fell in love with All Time Low!
coming back to this song after years of not hearing it has me feeling all types of ways. this was my anthem for so long but i drifted. the first second 10 seconds of the song flooded my mind with memories of myself crying to this song. the 3 minute duration was complete deja vue of how i used to feel. my goodness i was so lost
Missing You is like a warm hug and a loved one telling you that it will be alright. Kids in the Dark is like them taking your hand and telling you that you aren't alone. This album has saved my life so many times 💙💙
in love with this. been an ATL fan for about 9 years now(and it's not about to stop, never will.) even though I missed them every time they did a show in my area and I never saw/met them, I am so proud to see them evolve, this is purely amazing. I am so fucking excited for Future Hearts!

this video has me in tears. it might be dumb, but to me it's meaningful. to me, this song is saying that there are people like us out there, we are the kids in the dark, we feel alone, but when we're together, we're unstoppable. we help each other. we're here for eachother.

Lyrics:
Here we are, at the end of the road
a road that's quietly caving in,
Come too far to pretend that we don't --
we don't miss where we started,
Looking back,
I see a setting sun,
and watch my shadow fade into the floor,
I am left standing on the edge wondering how we got this far,
(how we got this far…)
They left us alone,
the Kids In The Dark,
to burn out forever, or light up a spark,
We come together, state of the art,
We'll never surrender, the kids in the dark,
So let the world sing,
"What a shame, what a shame, beautiful scars, on critical veins,"
Come together, state of the art, We'll never surrender,
the Kids in the dark, the kids in the dark...
Here we are at the top of the hill --
a hill that's quietly crumbling,
Been a while since you dressed for the kill--
the kill that sent me tumbling,
Looking up, I see a falling star,
and watch its fire burn into the floor,
I am left standing on the edge,
wondering why we fall so hard,
They left us alone,
the Kids In The Dark,
to burn out forever, or light up a spark,
We come together, state of the art,
We'll never surrender,
the kids in the dark,
So let the world sing,
"What a shame, what a shame, beautiful scars, on critical veins,"
Come together, state of the art,
We'll never surrender,
the Kids in the dark,
the kids in the dark...
They left us alone,
the Kids In The Dark,
to burn out forever, or light up a spark,
We come together, state of the art,
We'll never surrender,
the kids in the dark,
So let the world sing,
"What a shame, what a shame, beautiful scars, on critical veins,"
Come together, state of the art,
We'll never surrender,
the Kids in the dark,
the kids in the dark...

I sometimes feel that All Time Low bought ten thousand hours of studio time in 2008, recorded about five hundred songs and have been randomly picking songs to make into albums. In reality, they haven't stepped into a studio in seven years.
Why do you feel that way?
Maybe because their style hasn't really changed and they are all songs of good quality. They haven't diminished over the years
i would've been better if they sound again like their The Party Scene/Put up or shut up days
Vice Liberty Andreas
Party Scene is the best and wont be beaten :) still sound awesome though.
I don't get it ... but really ? They haven't stepped in a studios for 7 years ?
I haven't cut in 5 months thanks to music, therapy, and my 3 younger siblings. It is hard AF to not cut. Thank you for reading this and don't cut or kill yourself. People do care. We are all kids in the dark
You got this ur siblings need you don’t give up 🤘
we love you man
You are loved!!!
You can do this, remeber lo live this beauutiful life and don't give up! :D
Stay strong, man ♡ hopefully youve gotten over what made you want to cut in the first place, and youre doing better after hopefully 10 months of no cutting.

Omg finally, a band that I love that is actually making GOOD new music.
Fall Out Boy????
yeah what about fall out boy?!?
Antonella Zarb I think Fall Out Boy's new album is terrible (Not trying to upset anyone or start an argument, just saying)
Generation Zero Okay. I respect your opinion. I don't wanna fight.
Definitely not. I'm shivering like hell right now, but I'm pretty sure it's 75% from KITD and the other 25% from cold. Ah, this song...

Sxars Fade Me too ,Im a kid in the dark!!
Glad to see someone finally speaking for us. Kids are capable to feel, folks. As much as you are. Don't forget this. You will destroy them.
I would be so happy
Yeah ..
Yes I would love it
i would go to every concert they ever have
just saying i would do this at a one direction concert.
4th time listening to it this morning and I can't stop... It's 7AM and I'm jumping around in excitement. I can't wait for the album!!
I am doing the same thing XD
Same! And it's 11:37pm in Sydney, Australia xD
I just saw the video and asdfghjkl my parents think I am having a seizure HOLLY POTATO I CANT WAIT YAAAAAAAS
Somewhere in Neverland was this x100 for me.
This song is like a Transformers movie: always good but always the same.
As much as people hated it, I'd like to see them change up their sound like they did in Dirty Work.
SAME
This was me for 5 years. But it turned out that she had just as many problems as me so together we helped each other out life hasn’t been the same since she’s help me out tremendously
take care your sister man

16 days later still fucking addicted:)!!!
18 DAYS
19 Days!!
Aw, this makes me so sad, but you’re an amazing sister. I hope he’s doing better now.
That was sweet of you. I hope he's not still doing it though.
How are you now?
All Time Low honestly has the best creative lyrics wtf so much respect

To ATL,
Thank you so much for your hard work and inspiration. This song got me through some of my hardest times. I didn't think I would love to see 16 and am now 22 in my final year of university studying business management. I plan to keep living through your messages and one day be able to say that I have survived. Please keep creating music for the generation after mine to save them also like you saved my life
Ohh
*actually and literally bursts into tears* and can we talk about how good they look in this
Today i decided to start listening to their music and OMG. THIS BAND IS SO GOOD😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Congrats!

UNBELIEVABLY RELATABLE
"Looking up, I see a falling star, and watch its fire burn into the floor, I am left standing on the edge, wondering why we fall so hard," hit good ngl
This was the first ATL song I ever heard. Since then, they've become my favorite band and their songs have literally saved my life multiple times. Thank you guys for being so amazing and making music for us kids in the dark :)
This is my first All Time Low song that I've heard. Two things 1: how have I never heard them before?! They're awesome. 2: i need to do that whole glowy splatter paint thing.
This is the first song I've heard of them too and I am like: WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T I LISTEN TO THEM BEFORE THEY ARE PERFECT KXBSJNSKSNS
I listened to this song live because Lindsey Stirling was a part of it, but it didn't even click to go listen to more of their music!
COME ON HALEY WE HAVE TO GO TO THE TARDIS NOW! THE DALEKS ARE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORD AGAIN. COME ON ALLONS-Y!
Cupake Cutie that it's made my day OMG! YES ALLONSY!

You're not alone!! However you feel, there's always someone who can relate to you. Like me
we love you, love yourself and everything will be fine
Im from India...❤ what u went through is the same ive been through....we are not alone❤❤

I'm new to ATL, I looked into them because I'm going through tough times right now. One of my other friends listen to them and love them.

Raise your hand if you're a kid in the dark who needs a little bit of light
Even after all these years, you are still my favorite band. ❤️
even after all this time?
'beautiful scars on critical veins' is my favorite thing ever.... it brings me so much happiness that I'm not the only one.
This moment when alll time low's new song is much more heavier than sleeping with sirens' new "fly" an g "go go go" songs
shhh we dont talk about it
I wouldn't really say it's a lot "heavier", because Alex doesn't scream, but Kellin does. I do get your point though, and go go go is kinda more pop-ish, but when it comes to Fly, I think it was meant to be kind of a "calm" song :) Love both of these bands!
ATL "heavy" HAHAHAHAHA Bitch pls go check your ears. This ain't heavy. It's trash.
When I saw this song played live front row, was the best moment I've ever had. I love this song, any song me and my friends can relate to. Thank you so much.❤️ fellow hustlers feel the same way!❤️❤️
I just realized that I'm 8 months clean, and it's all because my partner has kept me going. I'm finally glad to say that I'm okay 💕
My FAV ATL song foreverrrrr ❤
To anyone who might read this,
So my name's Thien, and while we might not know each other, that doesn't exactly matter because I just wanted to let you know you're truly beautiful, amazing and incredibly loved! Have a lovely day and don't forget to sm:)e!
Omg can I just say that this is one of the nicest comments I've seen on UA-cam I don't know you but I love you for posting this to everyone I try to help people as well oml just thanks for being a awesome person ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lucy Daniel Have an amazing day, you're loved!
You're loved too Thien :3 don't forget
Sadie Hitachiin Much appreciated. You are too Sadie, thank you x
You're welcome, and I should be thanking you. ^^
I CAN‘T BELIEVE THAT IT HAS ALREADY BEEN OVER 3 YEARS SINCE THIS CAME OUT
I know it’s the best song ever and I can relate to it I’m a kid in the dark
Is it me or has all time low NEVER released a bad album or a bad song!
*cough *cough stick stones and techno *cough
*cough cough* dirty work *cough cough*
*gasp* I loved dirty work😍
Dirty Work grew on me over time but it's still my least favorite. I DESPISED it when it came out. And I don't despise anything from ATL. I have them tatted on me. I CAN'T despise anything from ATL. But Dirty Work, man.
But I liked Stick, and Stones, and Techno! Lmao.
I love Dirty Work. It just lifted me up and made me really happy. However, I still don't like 'that girl' and 'I feel like dancin' very much.
9 years na pala to guys huhuh naalala ko pa nung bagong release yun music vid
so in love with this song! really excited for the new album!
Was starting to think after my last ATL gig I was getting too old for 'em (21)....now going to order my ticket to their next gig. They've done it again, well played ATL, well played
You're never too old for ATL ;)
Yeah, remember listening to SWIR in high school, now Future Hearts when I'm leaving university. Don't change ATL
Ah! I know exactly how you feel :) Such a feel good band, I'm in university now and I'll definitely still be a huge fan when I leave!
Nahhhh never too old 😂 go for it
Hey I'm 25 and still a fan! Almost 8 years since the first time I listened their music... geez I'm old jajaja
i got fucking choked up. im gonna tell you something, this song has got me to NOT commit suicide.
Thank 0
I love you. I just do. You're amazing and don't let anyone tell you differently. You're story is inspiring and wonderful. And you are beautiful. beautiful. Love you

Came back to this song after 7 years and still banging to this beat
Yeah me too. I'm almost 28 and it's kinda weird but whatever. It's such a good song.
coming back to this song after years of not hearing it has me feeling all types of ways. this was my anthem for so long but i drifted. the first second 10 seconds of the song flooded my mind with memories of myself crying to this song. the 3 minute duration was complete deja vue of how i used to feel. my goodness i was so lost
Missing You is like a warm hug and a loved one telling you that it will be alright.
Kids in the Dark is like them taking your hand and telling you that you aren't alone.
This album has saved my life so many times 💙💙
This is my official song for 2017, this is whats gonna help me through

in love with this. been an ATL fan for about 9 years now(and it's not about to stop, never will.) even though I missed them every time they did a show in my area and I never saw/met them, I am so proud to see them evolve, this is purely amazing. I am so fucking excited for Future Hearts!
