Pre-Covid, I would fly to DC to visit my daughter in college. At the airport I would pick up a free visitors guide. I folded each page in half and then gessoed each folded side. I would use these to document my trip. Little did I know I was creating a “journal for no reason.” I love these crafted treasures which now house 4 years of memories.

That dress should be published in one of the couturier magazines. When I lived in San Miguel Mexico, the trend was making vests, skirts, purses with pop tops. Very expensive and so professionally finished. When I'd go to their flea market, one could buy as many kelos of pop tops. I brought home to Florida I purchased 2 kelos just for measurement of a kelo lol.

That’s why I like Shanon so much- no irritating music in the background, and such a nice, real kind of lady. Plus she does so many different things with paper, which is my medium of choice.
Shanon, when I realized that I had so many beads, I made a beautiful bead curtain out of my beads. It’s pretty heavy! But so pretty. I have it in the door frame of my bedroom door & it looks wonderful.

I thought I had a lot of beads! I put mine all at once in hot paraffin wax. Dump them on wax paper. Works quite well.

I don't really journal traditionally; I do more commonplace journals putting things in it I like. Every time I see the word zibaldone I think zi bald one (cuz I'm weird probably).
