Thanks for posting this thorough video. I'm thinking about pairing a Sterling Ink N1 half year common planner with a cut down standard stalogy and was wondering how I might set it up. I too am going to put in two pages a day and put in note pages and probably use it for two months. I didn't think about an index in front so thanks for mentioning that. The cost of the Stalogy for two months seems like a good economical choice too if you get the half year it's 6.50 a month. Not a bad investment for insuring a bit of sanity in our lives lol.
Yeah I love this idea!!! Because I love the SI layouts but I just... write too many things for only 1 page per day in the full year books. Lol. I'm glad you like the idea of the half year stalogy - and YES so economical if you know you'll want to use a lot of pages through the year but not break the bank! The paper responds well to most of my pens and markers and it fluffs up so nicely
I am just loving this! I have pre-dated planners for 2025, but I have a lot of outdated and undated planners and tons of notebooks, so I was legit thinking of just doing something similar to this in the future. Honestly might still pull in some of the pg ideas for my notes sections and my grid ntbk.
I think that's a great idea - mix and match is the best! And it lets you shop your stash a bit and repurpose/reuse things that have been sitting around :)
What store did you go to or how did you get the corners rounded. Loved this video. Especially the fact that you are doing time frames and things that WORK FOR YOU! That is something I have come to terms with for 2025. For me to use what works regardless of how it looks.
I just use a corner rounder from Amazon :) and so glad to hear you’re also on a “do what works for me” vibe - at the end of the day our planners need to serve US, not the other way around!
Very thorough setup! I enjoyed watching this video while I did my weekly review in my planner.
Glad you enjoyed it :) A bit different than my normal style but I figured it was time since I get so many Q's in my DM's on how I do these set ups!

Ohhhh I like the weekly goals pages idea… I think I will incorporate that in my system ❤
Yeah it's a nice little 'add in' but keeping it super simple :)
