Back in high school, I had this older female teacher who had a unique voice (little scratchy maybe, slight lisp), and when she would come talk to you, she would lean over your desk and whisper. It gave me these tingly feelings that ASMR does. I used to ask her some dumb questions, just so she would come talk to me.
Though at the time the term ASMR was not well known. So when I tried to explain this to my friends about her, they made me out to be some perv, who liked older women. I kept any further thoughts of these tingles to myself.
I discovered ASMR YT about a year ago, by accident, when I left some video playing in the back ground while on the puter, wearing headphones.
Sometime in, the video changed, and I hadn't realized it, but I started feeling those tingles again, and was suddenly reminded of that teacher.
Its been an endless black hole of YT ASMR ever since.
And I am righteous in knowing, I am not the perv they made me out to be.
