Want to see what Skyrim looks like through the snotty lens of the Thalmor mind? If so, Justiciar Ayrenn from [FOLLOWERS FOR ALTERNATE START] mod is the perfect follower for you! Fully voiced and lore friendly! Have Fun!
For the first time, I used AI voice synthesis to clone Ayrenn's voice (FemaleElfHaughty) which allowed me massive freedom to write her dialogue. (You can check out some of her new dialogue samples at my youtube channel.) I didn't clone any other voice types yet so other NPC's lines are still done by the voice slicing method.

Well, the thalmor probably did teach her how to look nontreathening [or even attractive] as part of her training, wich would make persuation and diplomatic negotiations easier.
I honestly f**kin' hate her design, they should've just made her a normal looking High Elf, just a little prettier. I wish the mod author would give her a more normal look as an option.

Aren't the Penitus Oculatus a separate command structure from the Imperial Army? They wouldn't answer to General Tullius, only the Emperor.
They are probably a separate command but with General Tullius being the highest ranking Imperial in skyrim who represents the Emperor in a way they probably interact a bit
@@LordAxiomVaro Yeah but I don't think they'd take orders from Tullius because that wouldn't be appropriate to have a loyal guard that is subordinate to an institution that may rival the Emperor's power
@Ezekiel De La Croix it's hard to say as I agree with you honestly but there has To be some sort of link between the 2 for the sake of security
That's why Tullius's letter is requesting the Penitus to cooperate, instead of ordering. (This is shown in the dialogue early on.) And as the request is directly related to the Emperor's safety, which is the Penitus's responsibility, it is difficult to ignore. Ayrenn probably chose to forge the Legion's letter since it'll sound more credible as the Thalmor and Legion already have a lot of interactions together. (Even their headquarters are adjacent, lol)

Probably someone that sounds like her. Bastila's voice actress is Jennifer Hale, and Hale didn't voice anyone in Skyrim.

Unfortunately, no as I haven't learned how to port mods to SE yet. I don't have SE installed and have never played it so far, being a returning player after several years.
I do hope to be able to port it in the near future though :-)

I don't disagree. I made this scene because there was a previous mention about it in one of Ayrenn's early dialogues, which was created using only base-game voice files which didn't give me much freedom of writing then. If you look closely you'll see a lot of my follower's dialogues are in fact just silly excuses for their nonsensical behaviors caused by game restrictions and my lack/laziness of modding skills. 😅
