dunno if you guys gives a damn but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last few weeks xD
As a coach watching my players grow and understand the game. Also seeing the excitement from then after a win. Absolutely love coaching right now! Currently coaching two club teams along with being the director of coaching for Soccer Shots in my area.
Memory: I was 13, first year playing, I was on a club team, and Coach B took the time with me to explain and help me understand the game. That was when I fell in love with the game. I have always remembered those times and I do my best to give back to the teams I coach, volunteering in the community, and try and help others live and love the game. It's never about the money, when you see the light go on in a player and they get it, And I got to be a part of it! No words can describe it.
Fútbol has been a huge part of my life & brought so many awesome memories. The one that sticks out the most would have to be when 4 generations of my family (my grandfather, my father, my brother, my self & my 2 boys) went to go watch Venezuela vs Jamaica in the Group stages of 2016 Copa America at Soldier Field, the first ever pro game any of us had ever attended. Now I know neither of the teams are fútbol powerhouses, but there is something to say about cheering on your national team w/ family by your side...& to get the win at that!!! Recently started following you. Awesome content, keep up the awesome work & good luck in all you do!! -JPG
My favorite memory as a youth player was walking to other local neighborhoods with my friends and playing against their neighborhood teams. It was so much fun and built many great friendships!
my favorite memory was playing my first varsity game as a freshman when our season was about to be taken away and hearing my name called on the lineup by the announcer felt special as I worked all summer long for that exact moment, and dreamed of it since 2nd grade to play a varsity game.
Favorite footballing memory was coaching my sons u11 3v3 team and making it to a tournament at Disney. Was an amazing couple of weeks spending loads of times with kids who were just excited to play together and enjoy themselves. Managed to finish 2nd place overall which isn't bad at all for a recreational team going up against a bunch of club teams.
Javi, something to add to your once again fantastic talk to your viewers. Don’t forget critical piece to coaching. At the foundation ( youth coaching) be that and strive to be a good teacher of the game ( not talking tactical) technical wise . Being able to explain and deal with huge gaps in levels will help you as you climb . Now with that said as you get to older levels of players the technical part is now the fine tuning aspect of individual players ( keen eye for details) now tactical mind is important as well as important psychological skills come in for the big boys/ gals. The ability to balance all this at every level I feel can not only enhance your understanding but you’ll see players see you as a personal advocate that they can look to .
If thought of doing coaching in college on the side while player football also favourite football memory was when Liverpool made a comeback against AC Milan I’m the champions league final in Istanbul
My favorite memory is when I was younger. We were in the semi final game they scored on us towards the end of the game 3-4 we were loosing my team lost hope. I grabbed the ball and ask the referee how many minutes were left he says “2 minutes” I ran towards the middle, noticed the goal keeper was also celebrating outside the penalty box, I waited for the last player to cross back to his side and shot the ball from half field and MADE IT! My team went wild along with everyone else on the side lines we went to penalty’s and won 4-2.
My favorite soccer memory is getting home from school & doing my homework quickly so I would have time to play a few games in a field by my house where everybody would meet up & play until it got too dark to see the ball.
Favorite soccer memory; senior year in high school, scored the game winner during a state playoff game. The whole team was running after me to celebrate but I ran straight to the bleachers where my mom was sitting and gave her a huge hug
My favorites soccer memory is when I tore my acl and after a year and some change I played my first match back from injury and I was so nervous and not even 5 minutes passed and I scored I was so emotional because I love this game I hugged it out with my mom who was there for me from the beginning and I ended up scorning a brace that game
Thanks coach Harvey. My recent memory of football is about my team I took coaching of the under 19s from position 12 the previous season finishing up 4th on the next season thanks to your drills and guidance and the advices.
One of my favorite football memories I have, is going to an open tryout for the Houston Dynamo back in 2013 even though the odds were against me for being a little older, the experience was great and met many great players and that's something I wanted to get off my chest before getting any older,. Now I coach at a local soccer club, going on 4 years., Thanks Coach Javy for your videos they are great and helpful👍.
I used to live in a very small village where I was the only girl “allowed” to play football with the boys (because I could actually play a bit and not just kick the guys in the shins). It was a World Cup year and I have a very clear memory of sitting down in front of the TV and thinking “Right, let’s try and work out the rules and how this game is played”. I was 10/11. I stopped playing (just kicking a ball around really) with the guys when I was about 14. I played other sports and my first coaching “job” was coaching basketball to 10-12 year olds when I was 18. I got back into football recently and have been coaching men’s football for the last 3 years. I was fortunate to coach at a semi pro club just before our lockdown troubles. I can’t wait to get back out there on the pitch and your videos are making it worse 👀😫🙈 PS A couple of years ago (when you were a D1 coach) you were very kind looking at my son’s highlight video (could we be the inspiration to your videos about this 😱) that an agency put together for him. He’s now in his 3rd year at Mid Georgia Uni but his love for the game has taken a bit of a hit 😔. Keep making great content 💪🏼❤️⚽️
Really enjoyed this video , thank you I started my coaching journey volunteering and now I’m at a club team , my old soccer coach plays for DCFC so hopefully one day I get to meet you and thank you for the advice
