+KathleenLights you should try the essence brow gel! I forgot the actual name, but it's supposed to be a dupe for Benefit's Gimme Brow, and it's only a couple of bucks. Milani also has a brow pomade that I've been loving! I never used pomade because I didn't think my brows were thick enough, but this one is perfect and under 10$!

No no Kathleen you need to try Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palettes. They're a fairly new UK brand but if you can get your hands on an eyeshadow then do it! Best eyeshadows I've ever used!!

Yesssss, I love how she said the cushion sponges work best with the cushions. Dude, they are created to work with cushion foundations. oh and although they only have about half of a regular foundation, if I have left over liquid foundation & need it on the go, I refilled my Cover girl Cushion using that. the cushion is removable

Favorite new finds @ the drug store are the Milani Amore Matte Lip Cremes & eyeshadow palettes, Wet n Wild's new Au Naturel palette in Bare Necessities (Walmart-exclusive), & Black Radiance's Baked Blush in Plum (nor new but new to me). The least favorite thing I've tried recently is Hard Candy's Velvet Mousse Matte Lip Color, specifically in Sweet Pea (as I've heard some other shades are better)....adorable packaging but horribly patchy.

But new things that I have found at the drugstore that I adore: So, here are the things that are ELF products that I just love, Love, LOVE- -Eyeshadow primer -Cream eyeliner -Their angled eyeliner brush really works for me, so I love it! -The NYX setting spray, I think works pretty well. Things that I didn't like: -NYX lingerie lippies. Omg the scent is so chemically, it would probs give me a headache. -Neutrogena healthy skin enhancer, it's like their beyond a bb cream. It says it provides a sheer tint, but to me I feel like it has absolutely no coverage and like is gone after 3 hours.
Kathleen, you should try spraying your foundation brush with the Physicians Formula Argan coconut primer, and then buffing the foundation in. That's what I do and it makes my foundation glide on and gives a nice sheer finish. Great video 👍🏻😎
Try a real (I'm so biased haha) Korean / Japanese cushion!! I am such a Korean beauty snob, I refuse to try any of the western versions because I LOOOVE my Korean cushions. 1) they're refillable!!! You don't have to pay for the packaging over and over and over again -- you snap out the cushion part and snap in the refill, super easy. Less waste from discarded packaging, cheaper price, win win. 2) my favorite brand is currently Innisfree and in addition to having 4 different formulas they also let you customize your cushion case; which is awesome! So not only do you get to customize the outer case (there's like 100 possible combinations of the pattern, type of puff, etc. I believe I heard that somewhere?) but then you just buy refills and keep your beautiful case! Best part -- really quite affordable, but not skimping on the product quality. Great coverage, super dewy "K beauty" finish. I think you pay about $20-$25 for the cushion and case, and then you spend maybe $15 on refills. Some brands (IOPE's Air Cushion XP is another crazy popular cushion, like the number one in Korea , they include a refill when you buy the cushion so it's like $40 but IOPE's also a little bit of a higher end brand) My only problem is that because they are created by and for the Korean market, Korean (and Japanese too) complexion products have a VERY small shade range, usually 3-4 shades if that. I'm very sorry to my deeper skinned fellow beauty lovers, but you will likely not find anything beyond like a Mac NC/NW 25-35 (I'm not a Mac person but I looked at a couple swatches for a benchmark to give you an idea and that's roughly what they look like). I firmly believe that as Korean products enter the American markets, there will naturally be a rise in the quality of the Western versions to keep up or the Korean brands will expand their ranges. I'm cheering for you!! You can buy directly from Innisfree, or for other brands (almost everyone is refillable) try either Jolse, Memebox, or RoseRoseShop

You know why the L'oreal cushion foundation is so good? Cause it's made in Korea! They know how to do makeup, and their cushion foundations are all sooooo good, I kid you not! :D

I don't know if they still have any. but kmart had better rebates on the new PF stuff.. To me it woudnt be worth it since I would have to drive so far out of the way plus people like to take the little sticker off the makeup.. just something to thank about though.
We don't have many of these drug store brands in Australia, so I searched the Crush Cosmetics website and bought ALL the Wet N Wild brushes and the Milani foundation. Not quite as cheap as the US prices but the brushes were all under $8. Thanks Kathleen!
A girl at Ulta told me they're pretty good! I had to pass on them simply because I have too much eyeshadow, but I bought a blush and a bronzer from them and they're currently my favorite!
I just got the Iconic 3 palette and it is stunning. The colors last all day on me, and I have oily eyelids (I do use the Urban Decay primer). Very pigmented, easy to blend. I do get some fall out, but it's easy to clean up. Definitely worth the $7!
Kathleen! Try the garnier waterproof micellar water with the blue cap! In my experience it doesn't quite melt off your makeup the way that bioderma does, but it will still manage to remove all of it with a couple more swipes!
I bought the butter bronzer because you and Nicole from youngwildandpolished said it was great and I LOVE it! I'm pretty fair and I love how natural it looks on me! I have a hard time with bronzers so I think you helped me find my holy grail ☺️🤓

Kathleen! I found that the maybelline vivid matte liquids works better if you line your lips (not fill), apply, then take a tissue put it between your lips and press dow LIGHTLY. It takes the excess off so they dry matte but they're still creamy. This works better with the more brighter pigmented colors like number 35 in "rebel red" after a while the red became more like a stain but stayed on pretty well. Love you:)!

honestly...idk if its my technique or what but I have to completely disagree on the wet n wild contour powder, at least the shade i got, its SO muddy. I was in the drugstore literally yesterday and saw a demo photoset of a model wearing the product and SHE looked muddied. I really dont like it..
Prism0lly and if it doesn't work for u it might be because your skin tone doesn't do well with cool toned products and I would try a warmer contour or bronzer. You should try the maybelline contour kit!
Did you try the L'oreal Sublime Soft miscellar water? I don't know of it's available in the states though...? Anyways that is the one I use everyday and I really enjoy it! If it is not available in the states, I was thinking I could maybe send you a box with products you can only find in canada that way you would get to try out some new stuff and maybe some Bourjois things also ;-)

Agree..the eyeshadow primer by ELF..pretty great..but not a lot in the tube..they should make a bigger one..but it's def. great!

Kathleen, you should try spraying your foundation brush with the Physicians Formula Argan coconut primer, and then buffing the foundation in. That's what I do and it makes my foundation glide on and gives a nice sheer finish. Great video 👍🏻😎

Try a real (I'm so biased haha) Korean / Japanese cushion!! I am such a Korean beauty snob, I refuse to try any of the western versions because I LOOOVE my Korean cushions.
1) they're refillable!!! You don't have to pay for the packaging over and over and over again -- you snap out the cushion part and snap in the refill, super easy. Less waste from discarded packaging, cheaper price, win win.
2) my favorite brand is currently Innisfree and in addition to having 4 different formulas they also let you customize your cushion case; which is awesome! So not only do you get to customize the outer case (there's like 100 possible combinations of the pattern, type of puff, etc. I believe I heard that somewhere?) but then you just buy refills and keep your beautiful case!
Best part -- really quite affordable, but not skimping on the product quality. Great coverage, super dewy "K beauty" finish. I think you pay about $20-$25 for the cushion and case, and then you spend maybe $15 on refills. Some brands (IOPE's Air Cushion XP is another crazy popular cushion, like the number one in Korea , they include a refill when you buy the cushion so it's like $40 but IOPE's also a little bit of a higher end brand)
My only problem is that because they are created by and for the Korean market, Korean (and Japanese too) complexion products have a VERY small shade range, usually 3-4 shades if that. I'm very sorry to my deeper skinned fellow beauty lovers, but you will likely not find anything beyond like a Mac NC/NW 25-35 (I'm not a Mac person but I looked at a couple swatches for a benchmark to give you an idea and that's roughly what they look like). I firmly believe that as Korean products enter the American markets, there will naturally be a rise in the quality of the Western versions to keep up or the Korean brands will expand their ranges. I'm cheering for you!!
You can buy directly from Innisfree, or for other brands (almost everyone is refillable) try either Jolse, Memebox, or RoseRoseShop

We don't have many of these drug store brands in Australia, so I searched the Crush Cosmetics website and bought ALL the Wet N Wild brushes and the Milani foundation. Not quite as cheap as the US prices but the brushes were all under $8. Thanks Kathleen!

I have one from the "I ❤️ makeup", the "makeup geek" and it's sooooo pigmented. More than the Urban Decay's.
A girl at Ulta told me they're pretty good! I had to pass on them simply because I have too much eyeshadow, but I bought a blush and a bronzer from them and they're currently my favorite!
I just got the Iconic 3 palette and it is stunning. The colors last all day on me, and I have oily eyelids (I do use the Urban Decay primer). Very pigmented, easy to blend. I do get some fall out, but it's easy to clean up. Definitely worth the $7!

Kathleen! Try the garnier waterproof micellar water with the blue cap! In my experience it doesn't quite melt off your makeup the way that bioderma does, but it will still manage to remove all of it with a couple more swipes!
I bought the butter bronzer because you and Nicole from youngwildandpolished said it was great and I LOVE it! I'm pretty fair and I love how natural it looks on me! I have a hard time with bronzers so I think you helped me find my holy grail ☺️🤓

I have super dry skin too and I've used CeraVe Facial moisturizing lotion for a few years now and it saaaaaaved my face, you should definetly try it!

Kathleen! I found that the maybelline vivid matte liquids works better if you line your lips (not fill), apply, then take a tissue put it between your lips and press dow LIGHTLY. It takes the excess off so they dry matte but they're still creamy. This works better with the more brighter pigmented colors like number 35 in "rebel red" after a while the red became more like a stain but stayed on pretty well. Love you:)!

honestly...idk if its my technique or what but I have to completely disagree on the wet n wild contour powder, at least the shade i got, its SO muddy. I was in the drugstore literally yesterday and saw a demo photoset of a model wearing the product and SHE looked muddied. I really dont like it..

Prism0lly and if it doesn't work for u it might be because your skin tone doesn't do well with cool toned products and I would try a warmer contour or bronzer. You should try the maybelline contour kit!

Did you try the L'oreal Sublime Soft miscellar water? I don't know of it's available in the states though...? Anyways that is the one I use everyday and I really enjoy it! If it is not available in the states, I was thinking I could maybe send you a box with products you can only find in canada that way you would get to try out some new stuff and maybe some Bourjois things also ;-)
