I had a vampire die from starvation at my sims wedding, and the groom was so sad too because his fiancée didn’t show up to the wedding party till 3 am LMAO. So I have one of their wedding photos with him distressed LOL.
I also experienced a wedding glitch. Threw a wedding in my backyard, the guests showed up and started clapping violently for several sim hours in my backyard. They stood there clapping until 4 in the morning and would stop at nothing, then finally they stopped clapping only to piss themselves and go home.
I’ve seen play thrus where people record themselves playing the game and then do the voice over afterwards! Then you won’t have to worry about getting too into the game and commenting on it at the same time. You can play the game and enjoy it all by yourself and then at a later time edit it and do a voice over :)
@@hanscapon222 A good way to remember is to record voice when actually playing, but mute your voice in editing and record over that; listening to the original recording when you forget/don't know what's happening/being said.
I'm not sure if this is the issue you're experiencing but the university towns never loaded for me either but the fix was to go to edit town before your sim goes off to university, switch over to the university world that they want to go to and then edit one of the lots there (literally just go into edit mode and come back out again you don't actually have to change anything) and then go back to your Sim and send them off to uni! Not sure if it'll work for you but it worked for me :)
I’ve been afraid to send any sims to university because of a school glitch my game has. They got stuck in “class” even after graduation, I think, and when I tried to send them home they all disappeared and I was stuck in that world without my sims. Do you, or does anyone, know of a fix for that? I don’t think the same fix would apply.
@@rachel8089 Not sure if you have tried any of this, but first and foremost: nraas traveler. Basically it revamps the travel system among other features. The other thing is to NEVER invite sims to the graduation. The way how it works when sims exist in another world is horribly coded which is why you don’t want unplayable sims in general traveling between worlds on their own. Only active sims should go between worlds.

Honestly I would play 4 if it had 3’s CAS mechanics. Especially with the mod layering! I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one that plays 3 still lol

I think if you use LazyDuchess' Smooth Patch, you can run the game in the borderless windowed mode which makes it so that your game is not darker on capture, you should totally give it a try (and if you do have it, it's one of the settings you can adjust in the tuning file). And regarding the one-time loading: it's recommended to only load one save per launch anyway because, apparently, the game does not adjust its recourses for a different save, so it might be that the custom world is much bigger than Riverview but it's still better to relaunch the game if you want to load a new save.
It doesn't require that patch, although that helps in other ways too. Marticore made a video on her channel about how to avoid the "darkness" when capturing in Sims 3.
@@aicha9204 the lighting that you get via screen recording is not a representation of how it looks in-game, as the whole window appears darker/more saturated than it looks when actually playing. But yeah if you're unhappy with the game's lighting on top of that then they can help.
Do not get me started on the Jubilee! It's all so fake, and working in retail means I've worked through it all while everyone else has been outside in the sun. (Not that I'd have been outside but I could have played Sims ☹)
I’m a big fan of the jubilee because 4 full days from the office without having to take a day from my holiday allowance is huge. Free bank holidays are a win. My partner and I bought the cheapest plane tickets we could find, which ended up being to Sweden and I don’t even have to deal with the celebrations 😂😂😂

Also, I think what anti-royalists seem to forget (I would consider myself in the middle) is that this jubilee is less about monarchy and more about celebrating a 96-YEAR-OLD woman who has been working 70+ of it in a job she did not choose and had not option to decline and has objectively done it pretty well (head of states (unless we're talking dictatorship or presidential democracy) in general represent and can softly guide the country, but must stay relatively impartial regarding politics). Regardless of what you think of the job or the monarchy as a whole, her service has been impressive. Not many people work 70 years, some don't even live that long

I love Sims 3. It has so many tiny little details and mechanics that make it seem real (like when couples move closer when sleeping next to each other). And I love the open world. I loved the roller coaster and dragons. Loved the CAS/BB options to really customized colors and patterns...BUT the characters look weird to me now and the game seems to crash every few minutes for me. Hopefully, if they do Sims 5 they find a good balance between the games. Rather than just looking more life like, but having less life to it.
Loved this, the story telling! It was like when someone's mum shows you their family photos! I'm fuming about this Jubilee nonsense, there's a street party on the street I live on, I had to buy noise cancelling headphones and some of those noise filtering earplugs (I had to use discounts and buy less food to pull it off) because my neighbours are vile/aggressive and also love fireworks. Not to mention my feelings about the monarchy in general so I'm just looking forward to it being over. My computer is packed because we're moving otherwise I'd absolutely do the same and boot up the Sims, it's such a good escape. I like to make up little families like this, sometimes though I'll just make myself and give my sim the life I want and live vicariously through them to self-soothe. This was such a wholesome video, can tell how much amusement this family has brought you!
I adore the chaos of your family in the sims 3. I really miss the old games and would love to watch you play more! Others suggested this, but doing a voice over after playing on your own would work great for me :)

Trying to play and commentate at the same time while also getting invested in the story you're playing is definitely a challenge. And if it's TOO challenging and stops being fun then you've lost the point, right? So when you play, just take a bunch of screen shots and make us a powerpoint, lol. I'd be here for that for sure!

The custom world is Salmon Woods by My Sim Realty! My sims lives there too. It's such a nice simple world, not too big but still has all the community lots you could need. Honestly if you're looking for a new cc-free world that uses all the packs, I can't recommend them enough! All their worlds are stunning 💜💜

The Jubilee is a big deal because it marks her being sovereign for 70 years. it is PHENOMENAL to be a queen for 70 years, like breaking a record. it is also extremely impressive that in 70 years she has dodged family scandal so skillfully that her family hasn't been ousted and exiled. I have friends here in the US who traveled to London to witness the Jubilee festivities because it is truly amazing to hold onto a throne for 70 years.

I kinda like this format where you are telling us about things after the fact through screenshots. It feels very chill, and I kinda like piecing stuff together. It's like talking to a friend about a special interest, only we actually care lol Like a few others suggested, you can record and do a voiceover afterwards. I'd like to see some of your live reactions as well in highlights. I get into my games and say stupid stuff to my sims like they'll hear me 😂 This way, you can enjoy the game freely without focusing on talking to camera.
Really enjoyed this video even though there was no gameplay! I always try and tell my family about the absolute crazy that happens in my Sims games but nobody gets it. Seeing you spill all the gossip on your Sims made me realise I'm not quite that just 😂 and its just a simmer thing!

I kinda like this format where you are telling us about things after the fact through screenshots. It feels very chill, and I kinda like piecing stuff together. It's like talking to a friend about a special interest, only we actually care lol Like a few others suggested, you can record and do a voiceover afterwards. I'd like to see some of your live reactions as well in highlights. I get into my games and say stupid stuff to my sims like they'll hear me 😂 This way, you can enjoy the game freely without focusing on talking to camera.

Really enjoyed this video even though there was no gameplay! I always try and tell my family about the absolute crazy that happens in my Sims games but nobody gets it. Seeing you spill all the gossip on your Sims made me realise I'm not quite that just 😂 and its just a simmer thing!
