Every band who has disappeared up their own arses (Kasabian, I'm looking at YOU) should be made to go see The Futureheads play live. No bullshit, no pretensions - just straight-down-the-middle blinding indie rock, played as it should be. Love 'em
I don't really like indie rock or whatever it's called. However, this is so clear in intention and well delivered that it sends a shiver down my back. Sorted.
Great band! I instantly became a fan when I saw the coverage on BBC of Glastonbury while they were performing... And lucky me they performed a month later at Lowlands 2005 and they blew me away!
To be fair, that was Glasto 05 and we'd had the biggest fuckin thunderstorm you'd ever seen, it lasted 6 hours, the place was a mudbath and we were all soaked - I don't think we did too bad!
i really do think these guys rock, not because they come from the same place i do or that i lived in the same street and went to the same school as ross, infact i did'nt even know he played the guitar. they are really talented guy's

2020 anyone?
Their timing on that intro is superb. Tight as a gnat's chuff.
